Sleeps 32 Additional Location References: - 1 hr SE of OK City, OK - 3 hr N of Dallas, TX - 1-1/2 hr SW of Tulsa, OK - 20 min North of Ada, OK - 20 min South of Seminole, OK Roberts Retreat Lodge is a 'one-stop-get-away' for family gatherings, church retreats, reunions, corporate events, weddings, outdoor excursions, and any other large gathering ... it is perfect for most any occasion. Very family-friendly! There is plenty of room to nature walk, mountain bike, ride ATVs, enjoy an outdoor scavenger hunt, roast s'mores around the firepit, and for the kids to run and enjoy the outdoors. Inside, the views are just as incredible … the 2-story windows overlooking the private lake brings the outdoors in! Cozy up in the large gathering area furnished with sofas, papasan chairs and recliners. The extra large stone fireplace is sure to warm your heart as well as your toes! A 70” flatscreen TV downstairs and 60” flatscreen TV upstairs make movie nights a must! This rental is incredibly roomy and can accommodate a large group, sleeping 32 people comfortably in its 6 bedroom, 8 bathroom layout. Space is no issue in this Lodge! It’s perfect for families with kids. Just send the kids upstairs where they can challenge an opponent to table tennis, watch a movie, read books in the library corner, and so much more. Downstairs, complete a puzzle or play board games in the sun room, or curl up to read a book or relax in the chairs by the large picture windows overlooking the lake. For corporate retreats or management training events, large groups can easily separate into smaller groups in different areas of the Lodge, upstairs and down, for small group meetings. Rent it for a mid-week day or stay several nights. The over-sized kitchen allows the chef plenty of counter space, a prep sink & instant hot water tap in the island, full-sized side-by-side refrigerator & freezer, dual ovens, 6-burner gas stove-top, BBQ grill on deck, microwave and dishwasher. This kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs including mixing bowls, measuring cups & spoons, cheese grater, cookware including frying pans, pots (various sizes), crock pots, baking ware, toaster, blender, electric mixer, tea kettle, large group-size coffee pot, serving platters & utensils, punch bowl, juice jugs, dinner plates, bowls, flat ware, drinking cups, coffee mugs, and a large walk-in pantry for storage. We've tried to think of everything, but please ask about additional items that may be available but not listed. The large laundry room has separate access from the outdoors for muddy feet. This large, open room is also perfect for storage and keeping your supplies organized. This room also boasts an additional fridge/freezer with ice maker for your convenience. We take pride in making sure that every guest is comfortable and has the ability to enjoy the wonderful property at the Lodge. With over 6,400 square feet of lodging and some of the most unimaginable breath-taking views, you will have no reason to not be able to take a deep breath and let everything go .....

A real "retreat" in the truest sense of the word! This remote cabin-like mansion was perfect for the guys from ALC to enjoy some fellowship. The skeet and pistol range were a big hit, along with the kayaks.
A perfect place for a campfire is provided where we were able to enjoy the company of brothers in Christ.

Roberts Retreat is a beautiful, secluded property. The house was huge and accommodated us all very nicely. Having a private bath for each bedroom was very nice, plus the two extra bathrooms. The partially covered dock was wonderful and the kids had a lot of fun swimming, boating, and fishing off of it. Overall, we had a very nice stay. However, there were pros and cons to this property.
Pros:
*Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms.
*The kitchen was adequate in size and stocked well (except for a whisk).
*It was nice having enough dining seating for our large group.
*The seating in the living area was ample, which was also nice.
*The property manager was nice and responded quickly.
*There were several life vests for us to use, which we weren't aware of, so a pleasant surprise.
*The large deck was very nice and had lots of seating and tables. A door at the top of deck stairs would be nice for littles.
*The view was gorgeous.
Cons:
*For the price paid to rent the retreat, it could be maintained better.
*The equipment we paid extra to rent was not in the best of shape, broken, not enough paddles, batteries dead.
*The house was not very clean. Not surprising with only 2 people to clean it in 4 hours.
*The initial property description was misleading stating it slept 32 people, but didn’t state a charge for every person over 8 people.
*The trash restrictions of having to sort your trash is very inconvenient.
(I had to edit my review a lot due to character restrictions)

You don’t need much when you stay here, it has everything.

We had an amazing time at Jackie's lake house. Secluded and private with all of the lake toys! There were 17 in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. Deck is HUGE! Our age ranges were from 2 mos to 75 and everyone had a blast! We even had a "vacation dog" swim up to the dock! Cell service is spotty but Jackie was very quick to respond when any issue was had! Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a large family get away!

We freaked when we received rules & would have chosen another property if we had known beforehand. Signs everywhere. Seemed like we were cleaning for the next group. When we found dead wasps in corners & a sheet pan of really old hard biscuits in an oven, we were sure of it. We were so nervous about all the extra charges...like if you put a can in the trash - and they will go through it - you get charged; if you do this or that you lose your deposit. We felt like we needed to hire a butler just to stand by trash & enforce rules because how do you monitor a dozen adults every minute of every day? We brought ALL trash home. Ridiculous unreasonable rules & departure expectations.
Reading recent reviews, people mentioned legitimate concerns & the owner or property manager would BASH them, respond that they took body wash & weren't welcome back, etc. Seriously, it's half empty Suave body washes that cost $1. One towel per person. One set of sheets based on how many couples/singles & rest are locked up.
But the property is beautiful & the setting amazing. Downstairs AC wasn't working; fortunately we found one fan in an unlocked closet. 24 hours later repairman came out but it never cooled down. Bed bugs in one bed. They were responsive to these issues & manager was friendly. Fewer rules would make people more understanding when stuff goes wrong. Probably better as a hunting camp, expectations are lower vs a $3000+ VRBO where the place itself is what we're paying for.

We spent a week here with the whole family it was wonderful you dont really get good service out there but that was fine becouse we wanted to unplug we had everyone from ages 73 to 1 and it was great for all ages we had a blast the host was very good they always responded quickly when i needed anything and was very helpful would definitely love to go back

My question is that the cabin was not clean when we arrived, so we cleaned the day of arrival. We have had 5 people come down with Coronavirus, was this cabin detailed and clean thoroughly before our arrival

This vacation home is absolutely beautiful and there was no lack of comfortable seating. The kitchen was spacious and it had everything we needed plus some. The deck is just perfect with beautiful views. I will say though that there are lots of rules that you don’t find out about until after booking. One thing is you have to take your recycling with you and the only things that can be thrown in the trash are items that can be burned. I think that this should be a service that is provided with the booking. Another bummer with our stay is that the hot tub wasn’t working which was the only reason we booked this place. However, the owner was very responsive and the property manager was super nice and very apologetic. Neither of these things would keep me from booking again or referring it to friends and family.

This place is amazing. Very secluded for private gathering with multiple families. definitely great location for a weekend getaway. The lake, scenic location and the house is very spacious. just loved it. cant wait for another event to go there.
two things that could be considered for improvements
1. there is no way to drop the trash. you have to pick your own trash. Imagine after 2 days. We all know during vacation trip, the the car, van is usually full. we found it hard to pick our trash all the way home. no bins would accept trash. The owner can make arrangements with nearby trash collectors.
2. too many animals hanging on the wall and everywhere. with kids around there are chances of injuries

The property was beautiful and match the description however the Harris file the claim on the mandatory insurance that you pay for whenever you lease the property no this does not affect me nor my rental capability apparently but I know these items were not taken and i have a feeling they probably make a claim on most of their rentals why wouldn’t they if you’ve already paid for it.

This was our second visit to Roberts Retreat for a large family gathering, and it did not disappoint. Plenty of space - inside and out - for everyone. The main attraction is the lake, for floating, fishing, kayaking and swimming and there were plenty of water toys to go around. Upgrades that were completed since our first visit (including the covered dock!) were appreciated and well done. The common areas are well-appointed and offer plenty of seating for all, comfortable beds throughout, and just generally a wonderful place to spend time! The property owner is amazingly easy to work with, very responsive and accommodating. If you are looking for a place to leave life behind for a few days, connect with nature and your loved ones, I highly recommend Roberts Retreat!

Beautiful home in a beautiful natural setting. The outdoor space is amazing. The decks go on forever and the covered dock is a great place to fish or just enjoy the water. We will be going back!

Fabulous family retreat
20 of us got to enjoy- peace and solitude and family time. We swam and fished and paddleboated around- we had a hotdog cook out over the fire pit with s’mores and ghost stories and visited over coffee on the deck to marvelous sunrises. The facility was perfect with plenty of space and separate rooms and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was great with everything we needed. And the family bingo game fit nicely between the breakfast room and dining room. The hunting lodge decor was wonderful and homey and we made many lasting memories. We left- already thinking of returning next year!

Can’t beat this lake house
Huge family reunion - and couldn’t have asked for a better house, location and private lake! Clean, well maintained, well stocked. Impossible to be bored at any age. Owner was incredibly attentive and helpful. We loved every minute and can’t wait to come back again!

Spacious home with open room concept on ground floor with kitchen, dining and seating areas within conversation range - great for our large family who like to be together. Large game area upstairs with ping pong table and tv. Beautiful dock gave us direct access to water. Great catch/release fishing. Rented most of the watercrafts available and enjoyed boats/SUPs. Two large fridge/freezers.
