Time to plan your exciting vacation!! Bayside at Bethany Lakes is a wonderful coastal community close to the beach, bay, bike trails, golf courses, restaurants, shopping outlets and boardwalks. Enjoy swimming at the large outdoor pool overlooking White's Creek or at the indoor pool on inclement weather days! This spacious and well equipped townhouse has a convenient ground level entry with bedrooms on the second floor. A screened porch and rear patio with a gas grill make the most of time spent outdoors. A separate living room and family room, in addition to a full dining room makes indoor space comfortable for the entire family.
This 3 BR / 2.5 BA 2500 sq ft bright and cheerful villa sleeps 8-9. The Master BR has a king bed plus a futon, 2nd BR with a queen bed is adjacent to the 2nd full bath , and the 3rd BR has a full and a twin bed. For your enjoyment the home is equipped with 5 TVs, a DVD, WiFi, central air, ceiling fans, a screened sun porch (with TV), board games, puzzles, and outdoor games. There are 2 fishing poles and crabbing lines for your careful use and a large pot to cook them is part of a well stocked kitchen. 6 Beach chairs, cooler, beach umbrella, beach buggy cart, and a stroller are available. There are also 4 bikes at the house (3 adult, 1 child). Any use of the Rental Property, as well as beach chairs, barbeque, and/or bicycles that are supplied by the Owner in connection with the rental property, may be utilized by the Guest at his/her own risk.
Steps from the home is the community's large clubhouse with lounge and fireplace, where the outdoor pool, tennis courts and fitness center overlook the serene White's Creek that opens to the Indian River Bay. Sunsets over the water are amazing! The community also offers an indoor pool and hot tub, steam room, game room with ping pong and pool tables, poolside grill, playgrounds, kayak launch, and a day dock for fishing, crabbing, and boating. Bike and walking paths for exercise or nature walks close by. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and cafes in the area. Downtown Bethany hosts many shops, eateries, ice cream shoppes, and weekly musical entertainment on the boardwalk and movies on the beach.
The Townhouse is located only 1.6 miles to Bethany's beach, boardwalk, and downtown. The Indian River Marina has charter boats and water sports rentals. Rehoboth Beach restaurants, boardwalk, and outlet shopping is to the north and Ocean City MD boardwalk and mini golf to the south are only minutes away. Salt Pond golf course is across the street, with Bear Trap Golf Course only a few miles away. For the kids, Jungle Jim's water park, GoKarts, and movie theatre are nearby. Basketball courts, playground, arcade, and boardwalk in town center.
The community has an amenities fee for use of the indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, fitness center, game room, and clubhouse lounge. Fees: Rental stay 3 days or less $25/person; 4 days or more $45/person. Children under 6 are free. This fee is paid directly to the owner who then submits to the association (not paid via VRBO or Home Away).

The house is amazing and we really enjoyed the neighborhood with all the friendly neighbors. The home is very well stocked with everything you could need, a nice screened in porch, and very spacious bedrooms. We wanted a place that had things to do other than go to the beach. This place has an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis/ pickleball court, and a place to fish/ crab!
The host is extremely responsive and she is very helpful too when our fobs didn’t work the first day! Don’t hesitate to book this place for your stay. It’s an easy 6/7 min drive to Bethany beach/ boardwalk.

This part of Delaware is beautiful in the Fall. This house was located on a tree line street full of autumn colors! The house was immaculate and offered a full kitchen which we appreciated not wanting to eat out every meal. Location was great, a short distance from Bethany, Ocean City, Rehoboth. Our host was spot on with communication, responsive and friendly. I would recommend!

My family and I very much needed this vacation. The property owner was a pleasure to work with and the use of the grill was greatly appreciated. The house layout allowed our family to be together on first floor and yet provided privacy with the provision of 3 televisions on first level. Everything was as advertised and then some. Patrice was a phenomenal host and available when we had questions.
Clubhouse - worth the extra money for nigh swims, as well as when raining, as our kids enjoyed the indoor pool and game room.
Location - house is towards the end of the development so it was quiet and very easy to get in and out. Plus, there is a Hocker's Market right down the street for convenience.
Porch - screened in porch was a gem for my wife and I to sit after the kids were in bed. No getting bit up and there were fun dim lights you can plug in.
Games/DVD's- my family enjoyed a wide range of DVD's and board games when we wanted to relax before dinner or wind down at night.
Beach Gear- it was a saving grace Patrice was kind enough to let us use chairs, a cooler, and a push cart for our beach stuff. Hard enough packing the car for a family vacation, but that took the stress off me not having to play Tetris with luggage and beach gear.
Beds - The master bed at this home was very comfortable, I slept like a baby every night, so no worries on the a quality mattress here. My kids equally slept great! Only reason I bring this up is because my wife and I stayed in Rehoboth at a rented house last year. The pillows, mattresses, and furniture felt like they were made from cardboard. I didn't sleep the whole week.
Probably forgetting a few other positives, but we had 0 negatives. I would definitely recommend this Townhouse and stay here again :)

We loved everything about our week long stay at this home! It was spacious, well stocked and the owner was very helpful. She provided so much detailed information and suggestions. We’ve stayed at many rental properties and this one truly felt like home. If you are traveling with children, I’d highly recommend the extra fee for the clubhouse to use the pools. Pools were clean and not crowded at all (there were times we had the entire indoor pool to ourselves!).

She answered all of our questions in a timely manner and was very helpful with aspects in planning our trip. We enjoyed our stay here so much!! From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Patrice thought of every little detail. She sent us maps and all kinds of information about the area. The house is beautiful and so is the neighborhood. It was so peaceful and quiet. We can’t wait to plan another trip. We literally just had to show up with our personal stuff, unpack and enjoy our time in Bethany!! I would highly recommend this home to any family that’s going to this area. I could go on and on about how wonderful this home was but I just think that if you’re considering renting this one don’t think about anything else!!!! Do it. It’s well worth it!! This place was perfect for our family of 4 adults (19-78) and 1 youngin 18! Everything was clean and the place was super clean and had a lovely vibe. It was great to have a master ensuite with king bed and a double and twin in 2nd bedroom and queen in third bedroom. The clubhouse was just down the road about 5 houses and we enjoyed the tennis and pickleball courts. Patrice was incredible and so easy to work with.

This home was everything our family wanted and needed, from the beach gear to the kitchen items (Keurig, storage bags, seasonings, dish soap). With 3 adults and 3 kids, there was plenty of room to sit together and also spread out. The bedrooms were spacious, especially the master suite. The owner is easily accessible and was in contact with me prior to our stay as well as the night before we left. Highly recommend this home!

This property was even roomier than we imagined from the pictures. There was space for everyone to find a cozy nook to read in or to gather as a group. The neighborhood amenities were wonderful and provided options to workout, walk, swim and play tennis. This property is clean and has everything you would want and need to make your stay comfortable and fun. We loved it!

Family Vacation
We abosolutely loved the property! Not only was Patti a phone call away but she sent emails with reminders and reccomendations for around the area. We referred back to her emails a few times to look for local parking, things to do, and places to eat. We had a group of 8 and that included 3 children, and not once did we feel crowded. Plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing. My family had a bad experience with VRBO before but this time it was so smoothe and check in/ checking out was a breeze. 10/10 would recommend stay here.

Wonderful
From the beginning, the homeowner was amazing to work with and always provided prompt and detailed answers to our questions. Since this was our first time in Bethany Beach she helped us understand the town and most importantly the parking. The house was great in a quiet and safe feeling community. The clubhouse was a nice touch to have as an option B if weather didn't cooperate. The house had all the amenities that you can think of at your own home. The addition of the beach chairs and coolers were a very nice touch since that's a few things that you don't need to bring if coming from out of town. We're already looking forward to another trip and would definitely recommend this location and home owner.

Wonderful vacation spot
My friends and I came for some much needed time together. The house was clean and spacious. It is conveniently located to nearby trails and grocery stores, a very short drive to downtown restaurants and the beach.
The owner was very welcoming and the back and forth communication was excellent.
We would definitely stay here again and are hoping to!

Beautiful home in a perfect location
We stayed for MDW and while the weather wasn't the best the home and area was. The house is located in a private community that offers an indoor/outdoor pool along with a game room. This kept the kids busy all throwing the cold rainy weekends. The home is a 5 min drive from the Bethany boardwalk, restaurants grocery stores and anything you could need.
Patrice was a wonderful host, She kept in contact with me the entire time before during and after our stay. The house was clean and welcoming with board games for the kids and all you would need for the perfect beach day.
If you're looking for a home in Bethany beach area then look no further. We are already planning our next stay !

Lovely home. We enjoyed our stay with family. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking items (pots, pans, silverware, etc.). The home was safe for the little kids and had some fun books to read on our downtime. Close to beach and restaurants. Having a washing machine was super handy. Overall a great experience!

Great Long Weekend Getaway
The owner was amazingly helpful in helping with an impromptu weekend getaway. She was quick to respond. The house was very comfortable, clean, and had just about anything you needed, especially in the kitchen, which is important to me because I enjoy cooking. Nice stay but lacking the details...
My guests and I stayed at Patti's townhouse from Friday to Sunday (3 days, 2 nights) in late September 2020. The townhouse was large and clean and the property and community included a screened-in porch, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, and the Sunset Deck that are worth noting.
That being said, we had some concerns that we raised with the homeowner:
My guests and I traveled 3 hours for a weekend get-away at the beach, so we decided to use the sheets and linens that were offered at the house instead of dragging along our own bedding and towels. In this COVID-19 environment, we found it hugely concerning that guests are the ones responsible for cleaning linens and towels and not the homeowner. If the homeowner is not overseeing this process or cleaning the sheets and linens prior to his/her next guests checking in, how can the homeowner assure the new guests that the previous guests had properly cleaned and sanitized the sheets & linens like they should be? Because of this uncertainty, my guests and I felt we had no option but to wash all of the sheets and linens PRIOR to using them the first time. We were frustrated by the homeowner's email message the morning of our arrival that we would be expected to wash, dry, and put away the sheets and linens before we checked out. With our check-out time at 11:00 AM Sunday, this required us waking at 8:00 AM in order to be able to have the sheets & linens washed, dried and put away before 11:00 AM. This proved to be extremely inconvenient and inconsiderate given that some folks had wanted to sleep in during their vacation. Additionally, she charged us a $100 cleaning fee plus a $59 property damage protection fee, so we were unclear how it was justified to expect us to clean the used sheets and linens. We had never stayed at a rental where we were required to wash, dry, and put away the linens.
Also, while it was nice that the townhouse included additional equipment for beach and outdoor use, basic supplies such as tissues, toilet paper, and paper towels were poorly stocked. During our Friday to Sunday stay, we found ourselves running short of these basic supplies by Saturday night. It seemed like each bathroom only had one roll of toilet paper, and not all of them were full rolls at the onset.
We believe that these issues are easily fixable and tried to address them privately with the homeowner twice via email, but sadly she never responded to the messages.

Bethany Beach Beauty
This townhouse , located in a quiet, well-maintained community, is so spacious (open concept lower level with 1/2 bath and laundry room with sink, 3 bedrooms upstairs with 2 full baths with walk-in- showers.). Beautiful well-stocked kitchen, TVs all over the place including all bedrooms, 2 car garage filled with several bikes, a stroller, and beach chairs, beach buggie, etc. There is a separate dining room, two living/TV rooms, and a sun room/ screened porch that leads to a patio all made comfortable with tables, chairs, and an outdoor umbrella for those sunny , hot days!
As much as we loved the townhouse, the location was just awesome...very close to Bethany Beach and the boardwalk, the bay, great eating places (try Hooked Up), playgrounds, grocery stores,
We were there only 3 nights and would rent again from Patti in a heartbeat.

Wonderful “Home Away from Home!”
You will not be disappointed! The home is beautiful and the kitchen is FULLY stocked with all the accessories you will ever need. The location is a short drive (or bike ) to Bethany. I stayed here with my husband and two children and had a great time in the pools, playing tennis and taking bike rides (bikes were provided). In the evenings, the kids were able to enjoy their “down time” watching TV in their bedrooms! There are plenty of yard games AND board games to enjoy as well! The grocery store is in walking distance and Miniature Golf Locations are abundant. They clubhouse staff are wonderful and knowledgeable in the area and were very friendly. The pool has limited hours due to COVID to allow for sanitizing. The hours were 10-12, 1-3, 4-6 with limited capacity. We did not have to wait at all to use the pool! The owner is very nice and does a fantastic job communicating with you about your upcoming stay! We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Week at the Beach
We had an absolutely fabulous stay! The house was really spacious and allowed us to be able to spread out considering that we spent a lot of time at home given the pandemic going on. My favorite things about the house were the screened in porch (with a TV!) and the grill. We took advantage of both almost every day. We also enjoyed being able to go up to the pool in the community. Using the pool was easy and seamless. It is a cost, but completely worth it. I will definitely be returning next year!

Nice layout in a nice community, awesome host
As soon as we walked in the door, we realized the photos don't do it justice! The layout is open and spacious, with lots of lovely natural light. The kitchen was well stocked and the host was extremely gracious and responsive. We did not have any problems at all. We had a really comfortable stay.
Our group consisted of two families. We appreciated how there weren't really any shared walls between the bedrooms (closets and bathrooms provided buffers), so everyone had plenty of privacy and a restful stay. We enjoyed the screened in porch and did some stargazing in the backyard. Families might want to know that there is only one DVD player (located in the sitting room near the kitchen) and it does not play BlueRay disks. The community rules don't allow you to dry towels outside, so it's nice to have 2 sets of beach towels and swimsuits so you always have a dry one. We let ours air dry in the garage or used the dryer.
The clubhouse was gorgeous and we enjoyed poolside sunsets all week. It was nice to burn off some kid energy on the playground and in the game room before the car ride home on departure day.
Overall, we would recommend this property and its host!
