Disappointing -although the accommodation was not terrible - the price was overinflated.

The upstairs area was nice- the kitchen itself well set out in a home that is relatively new. The BBQ area was nice for sitting in and had plenty of chairs around a large table. washing machine dryer facilities were good.

Spending money to support domestic businesses supposes a two-way relationship of a fair price paid (of our earned money) for a holiday home experience that is reflected in the price charged. This property charged approximately $750.00 per night so holiday house expectations were high. This was a particularly wet week which was unfortunate- perhaps the deck may have looked better in the sun. The greenery surrounding the house was high and overgrown encroaching over walking areas, especially at the back near the lower level. I saw more Huntsman spiders in and around the house this weekend than in the last 10 years. The front door lock was broken and remained so even when reported. When the lights in the upper area went out due to heavy rain, the fuse box for this circuit was in a locked room and inaccessible. The lounge had couch seating for 5 people seated squashed together (sleeps up to 11). The white faux leather chairs were grimy and dirty as was the couch and lounge rug. The fridge door shelf was broken and had been glued, however this had failed. The cooktop light and fan did not work. The pots, frypans, utensils and plates were chipped or of poor standard. Only two replacement rubbish bags for the whole week were provided. No vacuum cleaner- just a broom that needs replacing. The bedrooms were ok - a few mattress protectors that had hair and body stains and one petrified frog under a bed. The lower two bedrooms in particular were musty. The second bathroom attached is not a second indoor bathroom. It is open to the ground underneath with slatted wooden walls and ceiling - white electrical cabling was noticed under the shower floor that would be wet during use or wet weather. The fire pit did not look as inviting with stained chairs, mossy/slimy decking and wet wood. The main bathroom was not cleaned to a high standard with shower water pooling around the drain, dirty walls and mould at the bottom of the tiles and around the bath and sink areas.

Great property in an excellent location with beautiful views.

Could be a bit cleaner, big carpet stain upstairs Rooms are very much separated with only a single bathroom with shower for 10 beds. Lacked any disposables (no spare toilet paper, bin bags, cling wrap, washing powder etc)
