El desayuno estaba incluido, y Estuvo bien La buena disposición de la señora que nos atendió en recepción pues en un viaje en familia con adulto mayor que no puede subir escaleras la señora ante nuestra solicitud para cambiar la habitación nos colaboró y lo hicieron sin inconveniente.

recomendado para tener una buena experiencia en Santo domingo

El desayuno bueno, la ubicación estratégica para conocer el malecón, queda cerca una estación de metro y cable, puedes llegar al obelisco a pie, cerca de la ciudad colonial, se encuentra ubicada cerca a una avenida donde están varias oficinas de renta de carro,

todo estuvo muy bien, recomendado para hospedarse, camas son muy cómodas, desayuno normal americano

Correcte per passar la nit

Habitació petita però amb bany privat i aire condicionat. Esmorzar típic inclòs, quantitat correcte. Fàcil aparcar a la zona tot i que no es aparcament privat. Al costat del Malecon.

No era lo que esperaba.

Bueno, que les digo. Solo duré una noche.

Había cancelado una reserva en el Hotel Studio 27, y fui a dar con este por la emergencia de no dormir en la calle. Me sucedió lo mismo que en el anterior, que el precio que me mostró Booking que iba a pagar, no era el mismo que me estaban cobrando en el Hotel. Lo primero es, que el Hotel está en una pequeña plaza, en una segunda planta; la habitación no tiene nevera, el agua caliente de la ducha no lo indican, según me informaron no puedes subir alimentos a la habitación, el piso no es de lozas es como pintado, el zafacón del baño no tiene tapa (lo muestro en una de las fotos), la ventana del baño deberían ponerle algún tipo de cortina o tintado (ya que te pueden ver de los otros edificios algún curioso/a, y más si es de noche), el televisor es pequeño y no me funcionó el control así que lo dejé así, en la noche cuando ya iba a dormir, en la habitación de al lado había una mujer hablando alto y bajé, dejé la queja y no hicieron nada, el parqueo es de la misma plaza y los vehículos van a estar un poco cerca de los demás de lado a lado. Por suerte, solo fue una noche que reservé. Ojo, la habitación era pequeña, y cómo muestro en una de las fotos, el tubo de la cortina del baño estaba oxidado. Algo más, las paredes son de cartón piedra, bueno, en la habitación en la que estaba.

Disappointing

We have decided not to stay in this place considering that we had an extra guest and that the only triple room they could offer us at the time was nothing close to a place you would feel in safety for your health. It appears that one building has very poor maintained bedrooms while others are fine. But the smell, lightning and the general state of maintenance of the room we were offered made us go.

Good for what you pay for. Serves its purpose.

It has a nice location. The complementary breakfast is good. Good internet service. It's a cozy place to have a good night sleep and then getting out and do sightseeing.

No mini fridge.

I made a reservation by Booking, with the expectation that the hotel will comply with my expectation, but at all. I arrived at the hotel Sunday 30 april 2023, at 00.30 hour. I met the frontdesk employee. When I gave him my reservation and the reservation of my friends we got a very disappointed surprise. The employee began to tell us so many excuses. The prices were completely different and the rooms that we made the reservations were completely different. The frontdesk employee claim us to pay immediately, but the swipe machine wasn't working. My friends had to go to a ATM machine to pin the cash money, while they couldn't pin all the amount, because the max limit for cash advance in the Dominican Republic is 50.000 pesos. Finally my friends paid a part of the amount of the booking. And in my case, the employee accepted my credit card. Sunday 30 april 2023, at 04,00 hour we could enter our respectively rooms. The price of my reservation: For example in accordance with my booking I had to pay US$363.15 including taxes, but I paid "Thank you for purchasing with Maduro & Curiel’s Bank Credit Card ending with 9121 at MALECON ROOMS, for US$ 463.10 at 9:10:49" This is the confirmation I received of my bank. All by all, this was my worst trip to the Dominican Republic. I will never go to this hotel again. For me this is a swindle. Regards Reginald Schotborgh

Clean but tired hotel

The room was very clean The cafeteria is really nice

The staff doesn't want customer to even pay before the check in ( I think this is so weird!) The room is too small There are too many stairs before arriving on a room in this hotel

it was not expected.

The only thing I liked was the service of the night receptionist, he was a man and he was very kind. Later I did not like the hotel, because everything was deteriorated and old.

I did not like the room, access to it was very uncomfortable. on the other hand the breakfast was not well prepared and the service of the women in the kitchen were not friendly.

They didn't give me the room I reserved and paid. I ended up having a room with no windows or natural light, but they still charged me for the suite with the city view. I asked several times if they'd change my room, and they didn't. After 1 day of staying, they were about to charge me again the same price for the 2 nights I paid saying that the price for the room is 60 dollars (and when I made the reservation it was 60 for the 2 nights). Overall, it was a really bad experience.

overall a good stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful even with a language barrier. The hotel is clean and very pretty.

The rooms where a bit smaller than pictured and expected and bathrooms were smaller than expected. location is sortie far from the capital making it harder to maneuver.

HORRIBLE STAY

THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE BUT THEY COULD NOT HELP ME.

MY FIRST NIGHT I COULD NOT TAKE A SHOWER IT WAS BROKEN, WHEN ME AND MY HUSBAND WOKE UP WE HAD BITES ALL OVER OUR ARMS FROM BED BUGS AND OUR SHOWER WAS BROKEN. THE SECOND ROOM THEY MOVED US TO THE BED HAD THE BEDSPRINGS COMING OUT OF THE BED IT WSS JUST HORRIBLE.
