Easy to get to this B&B. Cass offered suggestions for things to do & places to eat.

Cass was very hospitable. She made great breakfasts & made sure we were comfortable.

Both Cass and Steve were great hosts. No complaints.

Would consider coming back for another stay.

It was the first time staying at a bed and breakfast as opposed to a hotel. I found the experience very pleasing. It was a nice change of pace to have a homecooked meal for breakfast and have nice conversation with the other guests staying at Belle Aire Mansion.

Lorraine and Jan were fantastic hosts. This was our first B & B experience. They set a high bar.

Breakfast was fantastic. Presentation was classic. Appealing to sight, smell, taste and touch! So filling, we just had a snack mid-afternoon.

Loved the old world decor and the owners were great. Seemed like we.d known them for years.

Breakfast was delicious, but the best part was Lorraine and Jan. They were so friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed visiting with them. Will definately stay there again when we visit Galina

It truly felt like we went to Galena to visit family. It was a wonderful stay.

The breakfast was delicious. I thought it was a nice touch to have recipe cards for meals that you found particularly delicious! Jan and Lorraine were absolutely wonderful. It felt like visiting family.

The bed was a little uncomfortable. It was manageable, but not the best. We did what we could to make it easier to sleep on. However, this was honestly the only bad thing we can say about the place. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time!

Jan & Lorraine we’re very gracious hosts. The complimentary cookies and the home-cooked breakfast were exceptional.

I like that the Belle Aire Mansion is on the edge of town, away from the busyness of downtown Galena but still convenient.

Well ..

The location was very quiet and the room was large. And our hostess, Lorraine, is lovely.

I didn't realize there were stairs only to our room and that was very difficult for my husband. There were homemade chocolate chip cookies in our room waiting for us but, unfortunately, they had been there a few days. It's probably better not to offer them if they aren't fresh. Also, apparently only decaf is served and rather weak. I'd suggest the hosts remove the conventional drip machines and invest in a couple Krups. There was a coffee machine upstairs also but it was always out of grounds. No such problem with a Krups. Breakfast, however, was lovely.

The hosts couldn't have been friendlier or more accomodating.

Breakfast was fantastic both days, and the host always had snacks and drinks available as well. There was also a mini-fridge provided for our convenience.

The breakfast there were all homemade and absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was out of this world. They were such loving and caring owners!
