About this house rental
Our home is not just a rental property. It is a second home that we just happen to sometimes rent out. We love spending time there with our two boys along with family and friends. So when you arrive for your vacation, you can expect a home that is taken care of like we live in it!
Come ‘Take It Easy’ at our newly renovated home at Ocean Isle Beach! As you will read below, nearly everything in the home is brand new and designed for you to fully enjoy your vacation! The photos of the house are a true representation. You will NOT show up and be disappointed in the quality and condition of the property! We are the corner home on a side street that features a public beach access. The access is less than a 100 yards away making it super easy if you have lots of beach toys, a heavy cooler, or if you need to run back to the house for something. After a fun day at the beach, stroll on back to shower off in the outdoor shower and relax at the pool surrounded by a privacy fence. The home features an open living area and kitchen that is great for large families and groups of friends. The living area is lined with oversized windows creating a ton of natural light. The whole home was outfitted in new decor creating a bright beachy vibe. The master suite features a king bed and is located on the main floor. The master bathroom has a brand new custom walk-in shower and double vanity with new granite countertops. Also down stairs is the “bunk room” which hosts a full mattress on the bottom and twin up top. Located just outside of this bedroom in the hallwall is a large closet and a bathroom with another walk in shower. Upstairs is the “second master” which has another king bed. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed along with a full. The upstairs bedrooms are connected by a freshly renovated jack and jill bathroom hosting a new double vanity and new granite counterops.

New luxary laminate hardwoods throughout the entire home with the exeption of brand new tile in the kitchen and master bath. Allowing for easy cleanup. The home has fresh coastal paint throughout and when combined with the new decor creates a bright beachy vibe. New open kitchen with custom island, new quartz countertops, and freshly painted white cabinets. Fully equiped with all kitchen esentials. New 58 inch smart TV in the living area along with new smart tv’s in all 4 bedrooms. Each with access to cable with an upgraded sports package and Amazon video. Wifi throughout the house gives you easy access to check the weather and plan your fun filled day on OIB. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of the two large screened in porches. One gives you a nonobstructed view of the canal and the other looks down over the pool and out to the Atlantic Ocean! Just off of the pool deck is bistro lit covered seating which doubles as a great space for a game of cornhole. The home also comes equipped with a smoker and charcoal grill. You have full access to our downstairs closet that is equipped with all things necessary to have a GREAT day at the beach: plenty of chairs, an umbrella, beach toys, boogie boards and a custom cornhole set. We absolutely LOVE our home and the entire island and know that you will too. Come Take It Easy on OIB!

Our family vacation was great! Even though DEBBY tried to ruin it she wasn’t successful! The house accommodated all of our needs! Was within walking distance to the beach! The host always responded quickly! We loved staying here!

This house was everything we wanted and more! We take our grown children and their young families to the beach every other year, and we like to experience different beaches. Ocean Isle Beach was the perfect beach for us and better yet, this house and host were amazing! The pool was a must-have and we spent more time in or around the pool than we did on the beach! But it was also wonderful that the house was just a block from beach access. We knew we would have a wonderful experience when we received our incredible welcome letter from the host. So much time and thought it was put into it! They offered so many amenities including a well-stocked storage room with beach chairs, floats, beach toys, corn hole and more. They even provided kitty gates and coloring books and crafts for little children. The kitchen was also amazingly stocked and they had extra blankets and pillows in the top of the closets. The hosts also checked on us and provided both of their personal cell phones in case we needed anything. Of the four beach trips that we have taken during the last eight years, this was the most thoughtful and will stocked house that we have stayed at! Thank you thank you thank you!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Josh's and BethAnn's charming house in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, during our Spring Break, and it was an absolute delight! The house was the epitome of comfort and cleanliness, making us feel right at home the moment we stepped in.
Location-wise, it's hard to beat. The beach was just a short, easy walk away, which we found incredibly convenient. Our days were filled with fun and sun, and the evenings were spent relaxing in the tranquility of this lovely beach town.
But the crowning glory of our stay was undoubtedly the heated pool. It was a massive hit with the kids who spent every night there until about midnight! The joy and laughter echoing from the pool are memories we'll not forget.
We also appreciated the thoughtful suggestion to rent linens and towels. It saved us a ton of time and effort, making our vacation more about relaxation and less about work. This attention to detail and consideration for guests' convenience speaks volumes about Josh's and BethAnn's hospitality.

This house is great for multiple families staying together. In total we had seven adults and five kids, and we never felt cramped in anyway! The real lifesaver for this house was the pool! The house has a large pool area that we were able to spread out around. The beach is a very short walk away which was also very nice. The owners are extremely friendly and easy to get in touch with. All in all this is a great house that my family and I can not wait to stay in again!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and just the right size for the number in our party, The pool was great, and the location was perfect (providing easy access to the beach and to the "heart" of OIB)! Josh and BethAnn were great at communicating with us, even responding immediately to a question I texted to them our first night there.

Our group of family and friends totally enjoyed our stay in OIB. The convenience of the beach and having a pool for those of us that don't completely love sand were 2 big factors for our decision to choose Take It Easy. Josh and Bethann were fabulous! They communicated very well with any questions and needs that we had during our stay. Could not have asked for better people to rent from. Will go back again!

Family Beach Trip
We are regular visitors to OIB, however, this trip included family that was new to OIB and this home was a perfect setting. Great access to the beach, pool provided a great place to relax after time on the beach and dining table was perfect for meals and family games. Plenty of room/beds for our group of 8. Will be back!

Great location and layout
We really enjoyed our stay in Josh and BethAnn’s house. The house is a quick and easy walk to the beach and to any of the bars/ restaurants in town. It was great to have access to the beach chairs and supplies and made for an easier vacation. The house was also a great layout for a big group with a variety of different bed setups. Thanks for a great stay!

This house was perfect for our group during Spring Break. It’s a quick and easy walk to the beach or it’s great for lounging by the pool. Hosts were very attentive and accommodating! Would definitely stay here again!

Check in and Check out were easy. The house is beautiful, nicely decorated with all the essentials you need for a vacation getaway. We had 6 adults age range 23 to 52. The house size was perfect. Loved the location! It was a nice quiet area. Not a lot of traffic. 1/2 block to the beach access and within walking distance to mini golf, arcade, and ice cream. Restaurants and shopping were also just a short drive away. The private pool was an added bonus. Corn hole boards were put to good use! Thanks for sharing your beautiful house! We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Isle Beach!

There was a bit of storm damage while we were there but we had no problem updating them as we came across things. We had a wonderful stay at this property! Our family (with 2 kids) stayed in the lower level rooms and my husband's brother & family (4 kids) stayed in the upper level rooms. It was a perfect house to split with another family since it had the 2 king bedrooms and 2 "kid" bedrooms. Plenty of space for all. Kids loved having the pool right there, but the true highlight was the quick, effortless, and straight walk to the beach with kids in tow! The location is a perfect 10 and the home is very cozy and well stocked with everything you need! We arrived early and were thrilled the cleaning crews were already done and we could access before check-in. So lucky for us with little kids who had just done a long car ride. Homeowner was extremely responsive with an oven issue while we were there - had a repair company out within hours (wow!) and new oven within a day or two (impressive!). The only negative was the floors were very dirty. You couldn't tell until a few hours of being there and walking around. I had read this on another review and I KNOW 100% the owner would have sent the cleaning crew back out if we reported it (the owners truly went above and beyond and were the best!), but we just wanted to get situated and didn't make it a big deal. Thankfully, there was a swifter mop at the unit so it really was not a big deal just a minor disappointment with the cleaning crew. You won't regret staying at this home! We had a wonderful time.

This property is beautiful. Very clean inside and out. Exactly like the pictures show! So close to the beach, it’s awesome!
Clean pool & fun lounge area. I loved the color changing light in pool for night swimming. Nice seats in the pool where the jets are. Very therapeutic.
The screened in porches with fans are a big plus to be outside but keep bugs away and keep you cool. You can see the ocean from the upstairs windows.
The owners paid so much attention to details and little amenities to make a stay at OIB complete. Very easy check in and check out. I’d stay here again in a heartbbeat!

Excellent stay at a great location.
Our family had a wonderful stay and I definitely recommend booking. We enjoyed the heated pool and the short walk to the beach. The house was sparkling clean and has plenty of amenities. Having the bedrooms at the back of the house made for quiet nights for everyone to sleep well. Thanks again!
