This newly remodeled vacation rental home is wonderfully located less than 8 minutes north of downtown Healdsburg. It is nestled on the rolling hills of Dry Creek Valley with views looking towards Alexander Valley. Recently refreshed with stylish furnishings, fixtures and lighting system, the home offers 2100 square foot with an open floor plan, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. You will enjoy abundant outdoor amenities, including a large seasonally heated, 10’ deep, swimming pool (winter months the solar system is disconnected and drained), Hot Springs spa as well as a covered arbor living/dining and cooking area. Adjacent to these amenities there is gas fire-pit with a relaxing seating arrangement. Retire to the warm interior of the home or continue your day or night with a trip to town.

Stayed for just a couple of nights but wished it could have been longer. The property was super well equipped and had absolutely everything we needed. The bedroom layout gave great privacy for adult couples sharing and the proximity to Healdsburg was perfect. Really exceptional - we will be back!

If you are considering this home, don't hesitate to book it. It exceeded our expectations! The pictures don't do it justice. The home was immaculate and beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings and all of the amenities you could possibly need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The outdoor space was truly an extension of the home. We spent as much time as we could out there. The bedroom layout was perfect and offered great privacy for 3 couples. The home is in a great location with 100+ wineries within a 15 minute radius. The property mgmt company/owners were very responsive. We didn't have any issues with checkin/out or during our stay. Downtown Healdsburg is a short 5-10 minute drive with lots of shopping and great restaurants. Definitely one of the nicest VRBOs we've stayed in. We hope to be back!

We have stayed at Casa Chiquita at multiple occasion had a pleasant experience in the past but this last stay has been a fiasco of biblical proportion. First the day before our arrival we found out that construction and expansion in the pool area was going to take place which involves extensive wood cutting , drilling and hammering so a lot of noise and workers in full view) without for us to be aware or notify so. After speaking with Shantee that day she reached out to the owners to let them know that this was not acceptable and that the work could not fo on wheels we were here . Further more this house is rented with pool and spa access and use which was not possible with all the lumber and equipment stored so we were not able to have full use of the property.The main sliding door lock is broken and either the property management is as not aware or simply was not honest about it since a bar is as placed in the glide to attempt to keep the door closed and secure, however the bar was too short and anyone could slide the door 1 to 2 inches , lift it into the top glide and remove it to enter the house, or with a screw driver or a metal bar pry it open, therefore leaving the property unsecured and unsafe. When all of this was mentioned we got a lot of excuses and run around and the answer kept coming up that this is very safe area.... A very irresponsible attempt to answer for an unsecured house.Kitchen appliances have been non operable and this is not new.The worse part is how this was handled making us , the guests feel that we were in the wrong and exaggerating the situation. Safety and comfort to The guest should and must be a priority for the owners and management company. although a proper length bar was provided 3 days later after much insistance, since the door does not have a working latch into the wall it can still be lift vertically to open. We stayed 4 nights and the issues were not remedied for 3 days, and the lock wasStill not repaired

Casa Chiquita was amazing.
The property is amazing. Very comfortable for 2 or 3 couples. Kitchen is well stocked which made cooking a breeze after an afternoon of wine tasting.
Landscaping and pool area very well maintained. A number of areas to gather and relax.

Our stay at Casa Chaquita
Casa Chaquita is a beautiful property. The house is well furnished, in general, the kitchen is incredibly well appointed, the grounds are beautiful. We had a great time. Here though is one issue that I believe needs to be addressed. Two of the bedrooms are beautiful. They are private, have bathrooms attached to them, and windows /doors to the outside. The third bedroom though was really not acceptable. It was dark. Two lamps gave inadequate light and we could not figure out how to turn on the light in the fan. The room is small to begin with and does not get great sunlight although there is a glass door there. You really need to get more and brighter lighting in there.
Small things: there were no instructions about how to use the lights and it took us awhile to figure this out. It was not intuitive.
The propane tank for the outside gas heater on the deck ran out pretty quickly and there was no spare obviously available.
But I do want to stress that the place was extremely comfortable, clean and in general had everything we needed.

The home was wonderful, so much attention to detail! The beds were so cozy, heated floors in the bathrooms for chilly mornings and a stocked kitchen to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. The location is great, private but close to town and Bid John's grocery. The outside area is so nice, unfortunately too cold to get in the hot tub or pool. We would definitely return and recommend to our friends.

Property was nice and located a reasonable distance to downtown Healdsburg. Kitchen was nicely furnished and in good working order for making a nice meal and enjoying it on the dining area around the pool deck. Neighbor dog barking was a bit much, but everything else was very nice and I would recommend to others

The house , although away from town was fabulous. Everything in the photos is absolutely accurate and descriptive.If a relaxing, in the country experience is what you seek, this is Heaven. The pool guy came, the gardener came, the cleaning crew was there at 10:30 am as we were is very well maintained! And we went home with sweet tomatoes and fresh basil from the garden.

A Gem!
My wife and I stayed with two other couples at this home for some wine tasting in Sonoma county. The home was exactly as listed online, a very nicely appointed kitchen which allowed us the ability to cook several meals at home and to eat and relax under the outdoor pergola. Be home is very well laid out, with each of the bedrooms and bathrooms essentially in their own section of the house, which made it nice with three couples staying there. We would definitely stay here again when we are in this area.

The owners were so kind and willing to work with us when we had a family emergency. Luckily, we did not have to change plans and were able to enjoy the beautiful house. The kids had a blast in the pool--the outdoor space was amazing! We had frequent visits to Plank, a great coffee shop a couple of miles away. Healdsburg is only a short 10 minute drive away. Would definitely stay here again!

Favorite getaway in wine country
We've stayed at Casa Chiquita with our closest friends on several occasions now, and continue to look forward to the next time we can book again. The communication has always been responsive and the property manager has been very accessible regarding any issues. The highlights for us are definitely the indoor outdoor living with the pool and the outdoor kitchen, and the entire outdoor back yard in general which has multiple seating areas with plenty of space for 6+ guests. Dt is closeby for nights out, and th kitchen is stocked with everything you could imagine to entertain and cook meals at the home, along with proper glassware indoor and outdoor friendly for beverages of choice.
