About this house rental
The minute you pull into The Stardust, you will feel all the stresses of your life fall away. The neighborhood is quiet with large properties and mature landscapes-you will find that you can look out most windows on the property without seeing a neighbor’s home. The front yard has a circular driveway with plenty of space for parking and ease of entry/exit- up to 15 vehicles without worrying about street parking!
As soon as you enter the front door, you will notice many things: the sun valley architecture-large beams and wood details, floor to ceiling windows, unique design and grand spaces but the show stopper is the view. The view of the valley and foothills are breathtaking to amazing.
The house is almost 5300 square feet and on an acre of land so there are many spaces to gather or retreat to your own space when needed. The bedrooms are spacious and focused on creating a relaxing environment.
MAIN FLOOR/UPPER FLOOR sleeps 8
The main floor consists of the king master bedroom and an attached bathroom, 3 additional queen bedrooms, great room, kitchen, main bathroom and laundry room. There is also an upper deck that stretches across the entire length of the house with plenty of seating. In total, the main floor can sleep 8.

Queen bedroom #2 - Separated by a barn door, this bedroom is closest to the main floor great room. Sleeps 2

Bedroom # 4- The master bedroom has a king bed, remote operated gas fireplace, smart TV, Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. From this room, you will be able to open the sliding doors onto the deck and sit in the rocking chairs to enjoy the view. Sleeps 2
Great room- Wood burning fireplace, smart TV and comfortable seating. Some of the best views of outside can be seen from the couch.
Kitchen- Double oven, flat stove top, sub-zero fridge. Additional seating available from the deck which can be accessed through the kitchen sliding glass doors.
Sunroom- additional seating off the kitchen. Great little nook to catch some warmth. Faces the front.
Main floor bathroom- Full bathroom.
DAYLIGHT BASEMENT sleeps 12
Downstairs you will find a living space with wet bar area, game room, outdoor spa/hot tub, 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms.
Second Living room- 60” smart TV, wet bar. This room has access to the backyard where you will find plenty of seating.
Game room- Outside the sliding glass door you will find the spa/hot tub. Two convertible chairs that are slightly smaller than twins. Good for young backs. Sleeps 2.
Spa/Hot Tub- Six person lounger with jets that deliver the highest quality hydrotherapy and relaxation experience available. LED lights. The Spa in sunken into the deck with a wall surrounding it. Private and relaxing.
Bathroom 1- Full Bath.
Bathroom 2- Bathtub with shower combo, additional standing shower, 2 sinks, 1 toilet.

We will always try and have the most updated pictures online. We have high speed Wi-Fi for your devices. There is a Wi-Fi booster on the lower level and we are subscribed to the fastest service. Internet from there is up to our service provider.
WE DO NOT ALLOW ANIMALS. It’s not that we don’t like them but we consider the well-being of all our guests. Pets leave their mark- no matter how careful we are.
We have easy access to the freeway and major connecting roads which makes going just about anywhere convenient and quick. Major restaurant chains, as well as local hot spots are within a 5 minutes drive. Grocery stores, gas stations, mall, and just about any kind of shopping you can think of can be found in all directions. We are happily located in a very convenient area.
We have two furnaces and air conditioners with dual temperature control for each side of the house, so you are able to stay comfortable. We also have two hot water heaters- that means hot showers for everyone!
The garage is not available for use.

Layout was great for privacy when sleeping. Great gathering spaces. We had to clean the fridge before we could put food in it. The kitchen table and wood working counter were tacky and didn't clean well so we kept them covered. The showers hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in awhile.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is roomy with plenty of bedrooms, a large kitchen and dining area and big back yard. The location suited our group, with short driving distances to events. One minus is the spa area. It is worn, needs repair. Make sure the water has been cleaned. Ours was a bit murky.

We had 6 family units, with 11 adults and 4 children under 5, and had more than enough room for everything. The large kitchen table for 12 was awesome, with nearby seating for the rest of us. Beautiful yard, although we were disappointed that it hadn’t been mowed, so we couldn’t play croquet or bocci ball that we had brought. Host was very helpful and responsive.

Nice home, we had a few glitches, the oven stopped working as well as the coffee maker. We thought we could grill but it was such a mess it was a fire hazard. Lots of quirky things in this house as far as light fixtures and outlets. It was great for a group and great access to downtown

We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect place for our family to gather from the east coast. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, including lots of parking and more than enough comfortable seating in various spaces throughout the home. We loved the indoor and outdoor spaces including the hot tub. Communication was clear and easy, we were able to arrange a slightly early check-in, check-out instructions were reasonable. The location was convenient for all of our needs. We would have liked full length mirrors in at least a bedroom or two for getting ready, and it might have been nice to have light/fan switches labeled, but those are minor complaints/suggestions.

This property was the perfect choice for our group. The kitchen was spacious enough to comfortably serve 16 at each meal. The rooms and beds easily accommodated our large group. The location was central to all of our events which made travel easy. Overall, this property gave our group a comfortable, relaxing home like feel the duration of our stay. We were a family of 19 people (ages 5-82) gathering for the Thanksgiving holiday. This house was perfect for us. We had 9 people staying at the home and the locals joining us during the day. There was plenty of space to be together (or apart). The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. We really loved our stay here. We did have some issues with the ovens not working during our stay, so if you're planning to do lots of cooking I would check with Teri beforehand to ensure everything is working properly again. Teri was an excellent host - easy check-in and great communication overall. This was a great find for us as we'd love to return to the area for another family visit in the future! Thank you again!

The layout was wonderful! Everyone had their own space yet we could all gather in the large kitchen/dining and living areas. We enjoyed the outdoor areas…huge yard, patio and deck. The location was great for us and easy to find. This property would really shine with a little more attention to minor repairs and cleaning, but certainly a great place! Our family vacation this year was "Boise or Bust." After looking at reviews of this home, we booked it, mostly because it looked like it would be be big enough to accommodate everyone (17 of us, all sizes). It sure did-And then some!. I don't think the photos can do the house justice. It had 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, two large gathering areas (living room, family room) which were even big enough to do a "pioneer dance : )" and at least 3 large TVs. Everyone (and each family) had the space they needed; The large kitchen and dining table (room for at least 12) made it possible for us all to eat together in the same vicinity (counter space with chairs, patio and breakfast nook are very close by. There was a game room with a ping pong table (so fun!) and the back yard was huge, and beautiful! There is a playhouse in the fenced backyard that the kids loved, and space to run around in! Hide and seek, anyone? (I'm thinking indoor hide-and-seek would be a definite challenge for the seeker!) The bedrooms were so nice and big, clean and everything was well-maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots and pans, bowls, platters, and table settings--and a dishwasher to take care of clean-up Two ovens made cooking for a large group a lot easier! I wish we would have realized beforehand what there was to do in the house and we would have planned to spend more time THERE! Still, we enjoyed whatever time we DID have! So glad we found this house. Highly recommended!

Big, spacious home with great areas for gathering, especially the huge sectional couch in the great room.
Large, beautiful backyard for playing spikeball, trac-ball, frisbee, etc… with a view of the Boise mountains. The decks have lots of seating to watch the backyard fun and enjoy morning coffee with a mountain view.
I made a special request that the host graciously granted, although she didn’t have to do so… I appreciated that. And the host always responded immediately to my messages.

This was a perfect property for our family reunion. Lots of parking in the circular driveway. Easy access from I-15, close proximity to stores and restaurants, lakes and activities. We loved the kitchen table with 10 chairs, a kitchen nook (which could use some more lighting) had additional seating as did the counter. Just outside the kitchen was a covered patio with a table and chairs that the kids liked eating at too. Two spacious rooms with TVs for movie watching, the game room with the ping pong table was a hit with the teens. The large backyard was perfect for family kickball games and a water balloon battles. We let the youngest crew roam free for hours out back. They loved the weeping willow and the little playhouse! The property manager was quick to respond to any messages that we sent. The property had lots of kitchen items, though the large frying pan really needs to be replaced. It has seen lots of use. Plenty of plates and glasses, serving dishes, large mixing and serving bowls, a crockpot and even an air fryer. The hot tub was a bit of a disappointment, though it got used in spite of the water being very coudy and the seating area needing a good cleaning and some repairs. We mentioned the water to the property manager and she checked it after our stay and said they would drain it and fill it again with clean water. Many of the bathroom and bedroom door locks are broken which made some people uncomfortable. Easy fix with new knobs.

This was the perfect place for a large group. Teri and Dan were fabulous host. We had a slight hiccup with a furnace on one side of the house and Dan had me check a few things then quickly had the repairman out in 30mins and was fixed just as fast. Right before the test of the family arrived. Everyone thought it was the perfect place. Teri even helps with a last minute hair and makeup artist Amanda for my mom, the minister's wife and me. This VRBO was very spacious. All the information on the listing is accurate. We had 15 people from infants to adults and we still had more rooms than we needed! The back yard was large and fenced in which was great for kids. Location was great as it was located within minutes of any type of shopping needs and only a 10 minute drive to downtown Boise. The owner was great and quick to respond to messages.
