Acceptable for 1 night

Big apartment with a free private parking

No coffee for guests - you could expect it to be a kind of a standard in the apartment in the European capital. No self check in, you are dependent on the host. Flat could be more clean in general, towels were dirty. Toilet needs renovation as it is moving while you sit on it. TV remote control buttons are barely working and you have to try really hard to make it work.

Very good

The host waited for us even if we arrived after 10 pm and was very nice. The apartment was big enough for all of us and had all the amanities that we needed - hair dryer, towels, cups. The apartment has its own parking spot, which was a plus for us.

The air ventilator from the bathroom was full with dust, it was so visible that made us think if it was ever cleaned, the bathtub wall had mold spots and the paint was starting to come off.

Weekend in Bratislava

Obtaining the keys to the apartment was easy, we were met on time and had good communication. The apartment is exactly how there are in the photographs. Very spacious apartment with two separate bedrooms. We slept at the rear of the building so did not notice any road noise. There is a bar beneath the apartment but did not hear too much noise. The apartment is well placed being just 10 minutes walk to the old town. We had hot water and yes the shower head could do with being attached to the wall but it was still OK. Would definately return again.

This is not a dislike but a request to have two sets of keys for the apartment.

The bathroom had no place to hang the shower head that makes taking a shower a little bit difficult

This apartment was a good deal for an extended weekend stay.

Great for families with children, really spacious, kitchen fully equipped. Private car parking. A park nearby offers a playground. Groceries, fast food and restaurants nearby.

Beds are rather narrow.

Check a phone number before arrival

There is a parking space in a garage - it is a big advantage in Bratislava. It is near to the center. Flat is very big but quite empty.

The phone number on booking.com is wrong. After arrival we tried to call to the owner 10 times. After call to booking.com someone called to us from a different number. Finally after 2 hours we get to the apartment.

The hospitality and the caring part is missing.

The furniture is brand new, the sofas are really comfortable (you can make 2 beds out of them). It’s a few minutes away from all the historic places so it’s a really nice walk there, everything’s close.

The beds were really small for two people, especially for adults and we got bit by some bugs . The bed sheets smelt really bad (like vomit) and since there was no air conditioning we had to open the windows and mosquitoes were all over the place and bit us all. It was also really noisy (on one side there was a construction site which started working at 7ish even on weekends). At nights the other side is really noisy because of all the parties (loud/drunk groups of people). And the parking spot is in the building next door, you can’t go in there by using a lift because it just doesn’t go down there and the doors to the parking house does not open from the inside (you have to go, enter it like a car and open the door from the outside). And lastly there’s no information on how to use the tv and you have to call someone in order to get the WiFi password .

Big, spacious, clean & well presented apartment in a good area of Bratislava.

Great, spacious apartment in a very convenient location. Check in was smooth, all the facilities were good and we were very happy with the overall cleanliness and appearance of the apartment. Everything in the city is within walking distance.

The shower wasn't attached to the wall and had to be hand-held. Not the easiest to use - would be much better attached to the wall as normal.
