goed maar erg veel lawaai overlast

Onbijt heerlijk, bedden goed, locatie fantastisch, personeel super vriendelijk.

Het lawaai van de pub beneden was echt superhard, echt heel goed te horen in de kamers boven de pub, alsof je zelf tussen de live muziek staat!

Op een toffe locatie

Hele lieve eigenaar, hielp ons goed met onze late check-in. Goede bedden op een superleuke locatie, goed om de drukte van Vancouver te omzeilen. Heel veel winkels en restaurants in de omgeving. Toffe kamer met alles erop en eraan, zelfs airco.

Maar 1 kussen en nogal plat.

Appallingly noisy - very disappointed

Location excellent, Steveston is a great neighbourhood. Breakfast was good.

Appalling noise from bar downstairs. Loud pulsating sounds until 2 am made sleep impossible. They offer earplugs (how many hotels provide earplugs on the bedside tables?!), but the noise is well beyond anything earplugs can do. We will never stay here again on a Friday or Saturday night.

Zweckmäßig aber nicht überzeugend

Das Frühstück im Café nebenan war lecker und reichlich. Das Hotel ist in Laufnähe zum Hafen gelegen

Zimmer 25 ist relativ klein und laut. Direkt vor dem Fenster ist der Lüfter des Restaurant und dadurch ist es zum einen laut und zum anderen hat man beim lüften den Geruch der Küche im Zimmer. Es wurde angegeben das Zimmer ist frisch renoviert - das ist nicht der Fall

Exceptional

I liked the convenience of the location. The breakfast in the cafe was excellent. The cafe was full but Debbie was amazing and coped professionally , efficiently and with humour .The hotel was fully booked, I believe, so there was a big demand for breakfast in the busy 8 - 10am hours. So maybe an extra pair of hands at that time would be good.

Just trying to get your suit case up and down the stairs although they do warn you that there is no elevator available.

Beautiful building with great atmosphere and great location

The breakfast was amazing, and the new rooms were very nice and spacious. Despite reviews of noise, we didn't experience any disruptions at all (must be quiet pub on a Monday night). Lovely staff allowed us to leave our suitcases in their storage room (freezer in attached alcohol store). Great location to Steveston!!!

We were told a few days before there would be a fire inspection between 8:30am and 9:30am, and the same at the hotel front desk and that a person will need to enter the room (we were ok with this and appreciated the information). Signs around the place were notifying members that there may be alarms starting at 8am. However, we never experienced any person needing to come into our room - so it was disappointing we got up early for nothing on our holiday!

Calm hotel in Richmond with free parking

This is a small hotel, with very clean room. As it is small, you do not have lots of clients, so not much noise. You can park your car for free : you just have to register it at check-in. You can leave your luggage at reception if you arrive before check-in time. And also the procedure if you arrive after the end of check-in time (11pm). There is a supermarket and a couple of restaurants nearby if needed. We tested a good Fish&Chips restaurant 250m from the hotel. The area is very quiet and safe , as it is in Richmond

We knew that the hotel was far from Vancouver downtown. So it is NOT the hotel's fault. We just did not realize that using public transportation it took 1h15-1h30, using bus until "Richmond Brighthouse" station, then the metro until "Waterfront" terminus. One option, we did not try, could be to leave your car on the Richmond center shopping mall parking, and then take directly the metro. Saving the 25-30 minutes of bus.

Overall, well worth the money and convenient location to the wharf.

It is next to Steveston wharf. Breakfasts are nice, staff are friendly. Noise level is acceptable to me and my kids. It exceeds my expectations with their renovations.

There is no elevator in this hotel, so we had to keep our baby stroller in car. But my kids are old enough to walk around, so no a big problem to us.

Disco at Saturday!

1.Location - next to the ocean. 2. cleanliness in the room. 3. lots of space - there were two large rooms for 2 adults and 1 child. 3. TV - many channels, cartoons, cable. 4. cleanliness of the shower cabin. 5. easy cleaning the next day, change of cups, towels. everything is very well thought out.

noise!!!!. if you are traveling with a child and are going to spend the night from Saturday to Sunday, be prepared for a disco under your room. I wasnt aware of this. and no one warned about this at the time of booking. Until 2 a.m., music was blaring and vibrated under my son's bed.( at the same time, there were earplugs in the room, with a proposal to use them, which my husband did. Somehow it was not possible to find out about this in advance, I just had to accept reality. My son somehow fell asleep,just because was very tired. If you are a family, ask about the location of your room in advance! very sorry this moment very upset. otherwise a very pleasant place.

We love our room! Thank you for keeping us safe during our stay. That is what matters the most.

We love our room and the location of the hotel. It is acessible to everything. The staff are very accommodating. Breakfast was yummy! The neighborhood is awesome!

I asked about the pub how noisy it will be and the front desk said, it is only on Fridays. We didn't expect the sound vibrations was too loud. We were not able to sleep. We waited for the closing of the pub. The ear plugs didnt work. Maybe, a sound proof insulator/material could be installed on the ceiling to prevent the sound vibrations and echoing. Definitely, we will come back.
