Modern studio, central location

Beautiful studio, really nicely set up and more spacious than I expected! Easy check in details and it’s located in a prime location, would definitely recommend

Great stay, lovely customer support 🤩

Loved the support from staff who managed to accommodate us and were super kind, in particular Caroline. Location is great! Flats are well equipped and great value for money 🙏🏽

If I had to find something it would be that it could do with a lift, we were in the furthest room 3 flights up and had lots of luggage

good value for money and great location

the terrace was a lovely spot and partly why we booked this property over others. we sat out there with drinks and pizza before heading out for the night

we booked 2 apartments. The one at the front of the property was very loud from the street. The one at the back was very warm. even with the fan on all night and the windows open it was very very hot.

RIEN !!!!!

j’ai fait mon arrivée à 18h dans l’hôtel à 22h j’étais informé d’une intervention dans ma chambre suite à une fuite. lorsque je suis rentré plus tard j’ai trouvé ma chambre avec lit déplace, sol humide dans la salle de bain, pas d’eau du tout lavabo, toilettes, douche, pas de chauffage non plus et moquette mouillée !!!!!! le message m’indiquant l’intervention m’informait que je serais contacté le matin pour trouver une solution à ce problème. A 8h20 j’ai contacté l’hôte lui indiquant le problème et demandant un solution pour pouvoir au moins prendre une douche. 8h40 relance car pas de réponse 9h relance toujours pas de réponse à 10h j’ai moi même cherché quelqu’un dans l’hôtel. l’homme de maintenance qui venait réparer les dégâts m’a finalement trouvé une chambre pour prendre une douche.Malgré mes demandes je n’ai parlé à personne du management !!!!! j’ai quitté l’hôtel sans que personne ne me parle. cet hôtel est une farce je refuse de payer pour la nuit que j’ai subi dans cet “hôtel” J’attend un remboursement de votre part j’ai évidemment pris des photos de l’état de la chambre

Lovely stay at a perfect location

The location was perfect for me since I went to the O2 which is only 30 minutes. Also some lovely places nearby for a quick bite and a lovely breakfast. It is a nice area to walk around as well. I needed some assistance with the door and using the pincode and within 2 minutes I was helped by the cleaning lady who came to aid. The room was perfect for a night’s stay; had everything you needed and was very clean, including the bed and bathroom.

Excellent communication & room thanks D8!

Great room and perfect communication. With the way they check you in, it got a bit confusing but they were always there on whatsapp / booking.com's text - incredibly useful. Complimentary ear plugs was a sweet touch, but we didn't need them even on a Friday night. Prime location at the top of brick lane 👌🏼 NOT luxury but still nice. The shower was also excellent, great pressure and temperature - always a bonus!

The Junior suite has a salon/roller style door which felt a bit too open and the bathroom was quite small, cramped and didn't feel like complete privacy. Would prefer to have glass cups available in the rooms for water but all in all a great overnight stay.

Staff are extremely helpful although they are remote working. Carolina was extremely helpful and provided the best service and made everything easy for us. Spacious, home vibes and great location for a great price. Who doesn’t love waking up to bagel for breakfast.

Great location and good for a short getaway in the east end of London

The location is fantastic, not too far from the trains and close to lots of food shops and markets. The rooms were spacious and ours faced away from the street and so was fairly quiet. There is a sun deck out back for meals or just relaxing and a good shared kitchen.

The room was extremely hot when we were there. It was abnormally warm in London, but still there was uncomfortable. The windows are old and a bit rotten and so would not stay open to let air in without some precarious propping up.

Decent value in a cool part of London with a comfy bed.

It's in a great location, albeit on a main road in Bethnal Green, so very cool, and close to Central London. The main bed was very comfy, and it was a good size for a studio

Shower was underwhelming (I know it's the UK), and the sofa bed was not awesome for a tall person.

Great location in a nice clean hotel room that had a bit of personality. Don't stay on the sofa bed.

The location was good, right at the top of Brick Lane. The room was nicely put together with simple and clean decor. Overall it was a good experience and I would stay here again for short trips.

The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Staying on it for one night wasn't great but anymore nights would have been terrible. The company D8 bombarded me with messages across email, text and whatsapp in the run up to staying. There was also a £100 security deposit i was not aware of untill a few days before my stay.

Lovely place and great location.

Stayed there few times already and i must say that D8 House is a hidden gem in Shoreditch. Lovely staff,great location and very clean. And they even left a birthday gift for me and a card,which was lovely.

A few worth it days in London!

Is an easy way to get in in the hotel, you receive the codes via sms.

The room was nice but the windows are a bit weak and the noise that you can listen at night when you are sleeping is too much.

Great location and relatively good value.

Location was great. Room was spacious and clean. Water pressure was good in the shower.

Was given a different room to the one I specifically picked on Booking which also happened to be at the front of the property (very noisy). The staff were helpful but I was moved to a room at the back which was much more run down (seemed a lower category to the one I booked) but at least quiet. On arrival I noticed that the waste bin was severely dented. As it turns out I should have said something as I was accused of doing this after I had checked out. The TV was placed so high up that I got neck ache from trying to watch it. Common hallway needs redecorating as did my second room (the first noisy one was much better decorated).

Room was clean and and the bed was comfortable. There is a mini fridge and microwave. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

It's a busy area at night so there is a lot of noise outside (they gave us earplugs).

Just got back from staying at D8 house in shoreditch having seen a show at the 02 arena. We were a group of 7 All rooms were spotless Location was spot on The process of using this accommodation was a new experience for me as the rooms all have a individual code system for all rooms But having numerous contact with Caroline on the webchat she made staying there so easy Her communication was brilliant Always on hand with any queries Kept me informed of all updates regarding my bookings Just a pleasure to deal with So thankyou Caroline And we are already looking at staying there again Regards Paul

needs improvement, not good value

good location in Shoreditch, everything you need for a few nights

there was no bedding for the sofa bed. Apartment said they messaged me on WhatsApp to explain where they were but this was an outright lie! we searched everywhere for the bedding. there was also only 2 towels, when 3 of us stayed. one of the towels had significant dirt and marks on it. absolutely not worth the money we paid and very disappointed

unexpectedly good

since the first day i thing the thing i most appreciate is the fact that there is no curfew, and you live like at home but in a hotel. you get the best of both. easy to check in and out and with no keys you can lose. so is good for those who lose keys and headphones in a daily basis.

Great location and comfy stay

Location is fantastic, lots to do nearby and very good for public transport. The self check-in was easy and convenient as we weren’t sure what time we would arrive. Comfy, spacious, modern room. Nice, clean facilities. Was offered help by hosts via WhatsApp.

The en-suite had a sliding door that didn’t close fully. Privacy was not great because of this. It could be fixed by adding a normal door. The curtains in our room did little to block out the light, but we were fine with eye masks. The stairs are steep and would be difficult for people with mobility issues to navigate as there aren’t rails throughout.
