One of the best hotel bed ever!

Comfortable large bed, friendly staff and great central location

Slight bit of noise from the street crept into the room at night but it was hot and we had the window open

Check in is 3pm our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait over half an hour. When we got into our room it was set up for one person towels for one 🤣 The best was our tv wasn’t working the Manager did try but still not working 😡 we like to watch the tv We were given one complimentary drink each.

Nice place to visit will come again

The location for the railway station was great, the bed was comfortable the room was spotless. The options for breakfast were very good.

The show was a bit hit and miss getting the right temperature it seemed to default to cold.

Lovely hotel in a great location.

Carlisle Station hotel is ideally located for anyone traveling by train, being right next door to the station. It was spotlessly clean. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed. A lovely bonus was the free drink offer, and very ecologically sound idea, for not having the room serviced every day. A really first class hotel.

Great value and right beside train station

Great value as right beside station, which was where I needed to be. Very comfy bed, tea/coffee tray, ensuite bathroom. It is beside station carpark (£12.50 a day M-F and £5 Sat and Sun). They provided me with a complementary toothbrush/toothpaste.

Great value for money and would stay again.

Lovely staff,so accommodating. Bedrooms were large ,clean and comfortable. Next to the train station and a 5 minute walk to town centre.

Bathroom was dated but very clean.

Pleasant stall

Location was ideal right next to the train station entrance. I stayed midweek and had windows open throughout my stay and no problem with noise. Which I’d read about on other reviews. But I can see this been a problem on weekends as the street next to the hotel is closed off to traffic, due to all the bars and clubs on the street. If you’re wanting a weekend hotels close to nightlife it’s a good choice. Room was clean and tidy, furniture was showing it age with a few scratches but still fully functional. Asked about awake up call as unable to program them. Reception asked what time I wanted the wake up call. I received a personal wake up call and not an automated one which I thought was a nice touch.

Breakfast staff too attentive. I only just put my last mouthful of breakfast in my mouth. Put my knife and fork bad on the plate. By the time I’d finished chewing by breakfast the plate had been cleared away. 2 emails every day asking you if you wanted to up grades
