Très bon séjour à l’abbaye court guest house

La chambre est très bien aménagé pour quatre. Les lits sont agréables. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Friendly staff, cosy room, everything you needed.-able to drop bags early so we didn’t have to carry them all day

A truly exceptional Bed and Breakfast

This bed and breakfast is truly a rare find! The room was clean, comfortable and had all the necessities needed for a stay with free car parking in the city center. Everything is in close walking distance from the Abbey Court with several restaurants and pubs nearby. The owner was up bright and early and made me the best 3-egg omelet I have ever eaten. The owner also gave me several helpful tips for my plans in the area which helped make my stay in Carlisle better. I found my experience at the Abbey Court to be truly exceptional and would highly recommend.

Carlisle in February, the weather can always be better, LOL.

Our stay whilst attending Carlisle Races.

Stopped here a few times, and it's the best B&B I've stopped in, lovely clean room's, bathroom spottless and modern, all the staff are polite and very helpful for all your needs, will definitely be back as myself and my partner attend Carlisle races quite alot, and it's an ideal stopover, wouldn't stay anywhere else in Carlisle.

Excellent facilities and host. Room may have been compact but well designed and much thought and detail put in to make maximum use of the space available. The room was warm and comfortable.

The only thing noticeable was a couple of marks/stains on the cover of the bedding (which is simply for esthetic purposes), an extension lead which was too stretched and potentially dangerous and on entry to the room some crumbs on the floor that had been missed from previous occupation during cleaning.

Lovely accommodation and great for a stop over on a long journey.

Lovely clean cosy room. Excellent breakfast and friendly helpful hosts and staff. Had a great sleep .

The location wasn’t great nothing much around and area a bit run down. If you want an evening meal there really isn’t anything around. The local place I was told served until 8pm but at 7:30 I was told they had a long day and wouldn’t serve me.

Abbey Court B & B was top notch!

This property was an easy walk from the train station. The friendly hosts were there to greet us and answer our questions. The rooms were lovely and spacious with nice light from the garden. Breakfast was excellent. All in all a very good value.

Dip in the bed made it hard to find our usual sleeping position.

Home from home and most welcoming

Beautiful and well presented rooms in a clean and brilliantly run guest house. Kelly who runs Abbey Court was incredibly welcoming and made my wife feel at home immediately as she was travelling alone. She felt like she was staying with a friend, rather than a guest house but the standard of both the room and food were excellent. Wi-Fi worked perfectly and walking distance to city centre and train station. Nice and quiet and home from home. Highly recommend if in Carlisle.

Lovely

The property is so quaint and adorable and the staff are lovely! They also let me leave my bag so I could go for a walk on the day I checked out.

The room was quite compact (not a complaint) but just something to note if you’re bring a lot of bags.

Lovely B&B with friendly staff and modern rooms. I would be sure to stay in a larger room next time.

The property was very modern, bed was very comfortable, and in a good location not far from the town centre. Breakfast was included which wasn’t made clear before but a very pleasant surprise!

I was in a single room in the roof, which had a low beam running across the middle of the whole room and a slanted ceiling which meant there wasn’t a lot of space. It was also quite easy to hit your head.

Great place to stay overnight traveling to Scotland or start your Hadrian Wall hiking.

Very pleasant and tastefully decorated small apartment Great breakfast and very helpful host and staff.

The Appartement Room was at ground floor level on the street side of the house, but the triple glass made it a still a very quiet room. But with open windows (because we it was quite warm) for some fresh air, the road was quite noisy.

Really smart B&B with friendly staff

Room was very clean and smart as was the en-suite. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was well cooked.

The location in Carlisle isn’t great but is very accessible and central.

A little Gem

Great location to bars and restaurants. The rooms were well decorated and lovely and clean the beds were cosy. I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff were lovely and it was child friendly. Couldn't have asked for more tbh, definitely a gem of a place we will definitely come back.and explore Carilse abit more staying here of course!!

Great for solo travel

The staff were friendly and the breakfasts are great, very generous portions that set you up for the day. The location is great as it's just a short walk to the station and town, and it's just around the corner from a large Asda so you can pick up supplies. My room was a single, so it was small but worked well for one person. Bathroom was good with a decent sized shower. Due to the size there's limited space to unpack but that's not really a big deal. There was also a mini fridge, which I've never had in a hotel before and that was very useful. Telly, hairdryer, good amount of plugs including one right by the bed - all in all, a really nice room. I would highly recommend Abbey Court.

Perfect break

Gorgeous spacious and beautifully furnished bedroom and bathroom- luxurious feel to both. The owners have a real eye for detail and good quality furnishings. Location is perfect and staff very friendly Excellent breakfast service!
