Ok but food could be improved

Location close to where I was working

Food they had a deal on steaks Monday through Thursday but had run out of steak on Tuesday . So went for pie and mash only to be told five mins after ordering oh we have run out of mash ok half a rack of ribs instead ok half a rack of ribs and half a chicken no just ribs. Apparently they only do half a rack if ribs with chicken ended up with a burger ☹️

Comfortable and convenient location for Heaton.

Helpful and friendly staff and a good location for Heaton and Chilly Road. Free parking too.

The Corner House is on Coast Road and my room was on that side of the pub, so it was noisy.

Adequate accommodation for one night prior to the start of our Hadrian's Wall Walk.

Breakfast was acceptable. I cannot remember the room as we were on a multi stay walking holiday.

Hotel was spot on 5 minutes on bus to town centre good location staff all friendly and helpful breakfast was good and plentiful

OK but Noisy

The Hotel is in a pub on a busy road junction in Newcastle just outside the city centre It was very near where i needed to be the next day Parking is at the rear of the pub but you must register your registration at the reception desk not the Bar as reception gives you 24 hours free. Like most places its understaffed and the reception area is not obvious when you enter from car park. The staff were friendly and efficient and the meals were good.

Like most places these days there are not a lot of staff Reception was not easy to find unless you come through front door and it was a sort wait before I was seen. The rooms are clean but the front of the building has a lot of traffic noise from the main road. The hospitality tray was good but there was no glasses for water only cups and no where to rinse your mouth in the morning. The room was pleasant enough but breakfast should have been included for the price.

the location and the rooms where fine.

understaffed at times and unable to eat some nights as the wait was 45-60 minutes. several complaints about the food also put us off.

Comfortable bed, nice big clean room, a bathtub I could fit in. Wonderful breakfast and very friendly staff.

highly recommended, lovely stay

beyond my expectations! large rooms, clean and lovely, nicely furbished, good value and it was so nice to have pub and accommodation together. Staff was lovely and the pub offered good food and many offers. I came with my colleagues for a conference and we didn’t even visit Newcastle as we were so pleased with staying at the Corner House and we spent a lovely time. Thanks to all the staff!

Nice weekend break.Good place to stay

The location, staff friendly. Room was nice. Food in the pub was very reasonable as well

Near a main road so at night had to make sure the window remained closed. If its warm it could be hot in the room

Husband got food poisoning from the breakfast first day of our stay. Didn’t take breakfast 2nd day although paid for. Room was very cramped, shower ran at a dribble and heating did not work

Excellent all round.

Huge room, super comfortable, clean and quiet considering it was next to a busy road! Staff were exceptionally accommodating and friendly. Great prices and service.

we had 2 double rooms in one room the shower didn’t work so my boys had to use the shower in our room
