if they change the Olympia with Stoller you will like it

well, actually we stayed at Hotel Stoller. The administration has changed the Olympia with it. The Stoller was amazing.

Baustelle Tag und Nacht direkt vor dem Hotel, Zufahrt eine Katastrophe

Waschbecken könnte im Badezimmer sein anstatt im Zimmer. 32 Franken für Stellplatz in Nebenstraße, allerdings direkt beim Hotel ist ein ziemlich hoher Preis.

Friendly, comfortable and reasonably-priced accommodation, in a convenient location.

This is the third time we have stayed here, whilst visiting family in Zurich. The location is excellent for transport links. The staff are friendly and helpful (and with good English), and there is always someone on the desk to answer queries. WiFi is free and easy to access. The buffet breakfast is generous and fresh, served in a comfortable dining room/bar with windows on the street. There is a handy supermarket across the road, and many local eateries.

It can be noisy, with trams passing regularly, but this is balanced by convenience of local transport links. It would have been useful to have some printed information in the room about times for checkout, breakfast etc. Our room would have been improved with a full-length mirror, perhaps inside the wardrobe door, and a more comfortable chair.

Sauberkeit ist mir wichtig, und ist hier auch positiv zu loben!

die Wände sind zu dünn und man hört ALLES. Das Personal kommt ohne zu klopfen in die Zimmer rein und stört die Privatsphäre obwohl genau die Privatsphäre der Grund ist warum ich in einem Hotel sein möchte. Mein Reservierter und gebuchter Parkplatz wurde durch nicht guter Kommunikation innerhalb des Personals an jemanden anders vergeben, wodurch ich dann illegal und auf Gefahr einer Strafe an der Straße bleiben musste, da ich Nachts nach meinem geschäftlichen Aktivitäten mit der Sicherheit zurückgefahren bin aber dieses Wunder erleben durfte und weit und breit kein anderer Parkplatz zu ergattern war. Außerdem war ein einem Abend die Haupttüre zugesperrt wodurch ich nichtmal in das Hotel bei der Kälte eintreten konnte. Der Preis bei der Abreise hat mich dann bei der Leistung schon verwundert..

Le réceptionniste du soir désagréable. On a pris une chambre de 5 et on a eu que 4 lits, on a du insisté pour avoir le cinquième lits. Supplément chien trop chère (25 € !) Pour une nuit. Pas de kit d'accueil (pas d'eau pas de café) Petit déjeuner trop simple pas de choix.

Price friendly accommodation, good for weekend.

It’s a budget hotel, good to stay a few nights and not much more. Staff was nice, everything was reasonable clean albeit old fashioned. Basic accommodation ok.

Breakfast was kinda lightweight, bed was cheap, a broken light, but I’ve seen worse.

La camera dava su un cortile interno, per cui molto silenziosa. Buona la pulizia. Il prezzo per Zurigo era molto buono.

Il bagno é veramente minuto, per accedere alla doccia si deve quasi scavalcare il WC, il lavandino si trova all'esterno del bagno nella camera. La tenda non oscurava completamente la camera, filtravano le luci esterne. Il riscaldamento viene completamente spento per cui entrando in camera in entrambe le sere la temperatura non era ideale. Pochi canali televisivi,

Basic room for a good price with friendly staff but expect to walk or pay for transportation.

We did not have the breakfast. It was the basic breakfast offerings. The location was a bit from the action but you could walk or take the transit to the main town area. The staff was extremely friendly.

The beds were pretty firm which made them not too comfortable for us.

Overall not a bad spot, but ask for a room away from the elevator.

Rooms were spacious and clean.

The room I was placed in was directly across from reception/elevator up the short stairs (which apparently was the hang out spot). It was incredibly loud throughout out the night including “quiet hours”.

Das Personal war nett. Die Lage gut. Das Hotel hat seinen Zweck für mich erfüllt. Das Frühstück fand ich etwas dürftig. Das Zimmer war zweckmässig.

Immer wenn ich ins Zimmer kam hatte ich das Bedürfnis die Fenster zu öffnen. Irgend ein Geschmack in der Luft der wohl vom Badezimmer kam. Wenn Badezimmertüre geschlossen war während ich weg war. dann war es besser. Fand es komisch dass ich nachdem ich alles gezahlt habe noch pro Tag ein Depot von CHF 50 hinterlegen musste (Total CHF 150) was eigentlich Teil meines Reisebudgets war und während meines Aufenthalts blockiert war.

bien para lo que cuesta

El hotel fue de los mas baratos que encontramos en la ciudad y cumplio las espectativas que esperabamos. Esta a unos 30mins caminando del centro, las camas son comodas y esta limpio.

Hotel muy sencillo ya que no tiene otros extras como: nevera, hervidor de agua, caja fuerte. Aunque en nuestro caso eso fue lo de menos. Las paredes son de papel ya que escuchabamos a los de al lado y a los de arriba cada vez que caminaban.

Decent hotel to stay at if luxury is not necessary for your travels.

Easy check-in/check-out. Good location for getting around town, near a major transit station (Albisriederplatz). Fairly clean. Good water pressure in shower. Decent breakfast, same each morning, but it did cost CHF 11.90(?).

Bed was not super comfy, though I am a 6'5 (195 cm) 220lb (100kg) male. Price also seems steep for my small single-bed room, but maybe it is just typical Swiss prices.

Shocking reception

Fairly central. Short tram ride to centre. It was warm in the hotel

Shocking reception. Male staff member cursing and swearing as he tried to make the computer work to check us in. Even used f*** twice!. We were greeted with there's good news and bad news. We were offered an upgrade which was then declined immediately, so I'm not sure what the good news was! A further male member of staff rude when we asked politely about an adaptor. This initial reception was an experience I would not like others to experience and spoilt our stay as it made us feel on edge. No tea coffee facilities. I would not recommend staying here.
