Confortable room in a nice neighbourhood

Very big confortable bedroom. There are many restaurants and bars in the area.

There is not an actual reception. If you arrive early in the morning in Zurich there is no chance to leave your stuff since the restaurant downstairs is closed. Price is expensive for what you get but it is a fair price in Zurich.

Great location, restaurant’s owner is very helpful to do the check in.

The trash left by previous guests still in the kitchen, maybe the cleaner overlooked. The self check in machine not working.

WORST HOTEL EVER - IT SHOULD BE CLOSED

WORST HOTEL EVER I will never ever come back, and I hope I can be refunded as per my request to booking customer service. Reception doesn’t exist so in case you arrive earlier no way to leave somewhere the bags, and if you try to call at the online number nobody answer. Room was DIRTY, there were hair, dust, even peanuts and toe nails on the bathroom floor. Plus the small of humidity and smoke is very strong, you can’t breathe. The parquet makes a lot of noise and it was dirty, I had to keep my shoes. And in case was not enough, even the bed sheets were smelling bad and there were some hair. Moreover, soundproof is zero, you can hear people breathing from the rooms next to yours and I am not joking. Unfortunately, was so late and after a day of work I was not able to go away, so I slept on the blanket, wearing a coat but the smell was so strong that I woke up at 4.30 in the morning. So I decided to leave the room as soon as I could, cause I was starting to feel really bad standing there. Please don’t go in this hotel, the online pictures have been edited, the reality is far away different from what you see online!

Quaintly decorated spacious room nice for an overnight stay.

It was a very spacious room, quaintly decorated. They have a kettle with tea/coffee. The bathroom felt almost new with a nice/wide shower stall. There are some nice ethnic restaurants in the area. We found a really reasonably priced Sri Lankan restaurant with excellent food. The hotel has a restaurant as well which we might have used had we not found the other restaurant.

We were a family of three., so one of us needed to use the pullout sofa. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the bedsheets etc. for the sofa. Since we were only there for one night, we used the sofa in its folded state, rather than pursue the staff which is busy running the restaurant below.

This small boutique hotel is located above an Asian restaurant also called The Yard. It is around 10-12 minute walk from Zurich main station. The room has airconditioning and the bathroom was big. The staff was very helpful. Provided us with a microwave oven upon request.

The only complaint is that the WIFI is hit and miss.

They didn’t give me the entrance code for the door They took the used towels and forgot to bring fresh ones. Would not recommend.

the location and design

the reception is the restaurant open at 10 am and the staff don't speak english very well there is an issue in the key i went to the supermarket 8 am when i came back the door want open i stay 3 hours waiting for the reception to open and took an half an hour to fix the key , also there is a bad smell and soho street nearby
