A clearer reception arrangement would be helpful.

Excellent location, good breakfast menu.

There was no facility to have a stand-up shower in the bathroom and no rails for older folk to haul themselves out of a bath. Would have felt more comfortable for later appointments if the breakfast had been at 7.00 rather than the rescheduled 8.00.

Stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and was delighted but was very disappointed this time

Only one night, but enough to see Wells. A beautiful City. Drove through Cheddar Gorge, went to Glastonbury and then on

Location, right across from Wells Cathedral. Very nice room, big comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent, and it was a real ale pub.

Nothing to dislike at all.

Pub is great, B&B not so much

Perfect location for market Square and cathedral, great beer selections in the pub

Room was not "superior" double as advertised- no sofa area or neals yard toiletries as promised. Room was set back from pub which was nice as less noisy. Beds were comfortable but otherwise very basic Room, the breakfast was stressful as the waiting staff was rushing around solo trying to manage everything, breakfast area was lacking cleanliness, breakfast itself was ok- bacon was delicious though! Definitely over priced and the bathroom in the room was really needed a bit of love and care.

Comfortable and clean but lacking in the detail.

Comfortable bed and plenty of storage space, wardrobe and drawers. Great friendly bar.

Issue with main door lock which was not attended to. no spoon for refreshments, although there were bedside cabinets there were no lamps, main light only, WC cistern was slow to fill and did not flush very well.

Good value for one night.

Very friendly staff. Great breakfast and perfect location. Room was clean and comfortable. Dog friendly.

There were no bedside lamps in the room. The kettle flex didn’t reach the power socket and tv remote control didn’t work.

Perfect location, nice room. Comfortable bed. Bar staff were amazing, a very nice guy who checked us in so sorry didn't get his name. Recommended gorgeous beers! Loved the fact it had loads to pick from!

Extremely thin walls, pack ear plugs! We unfortunately had a person who could snore for England. So we didn't actually get much sleep till he woke up, we guess for work at 5am then decided to sing 🙈 just pack ear plugs haha!

Parking a challenge in Wells.

Requested two single beds only to find they only had a double room when we are arrived. Booking.com email to confirm our request. Hotel full. So had to find another bedroom elsewhere. Not what we needed after a long journey. Difficult to drop off luggage.

Very friendly staff, perfect location and beautiful building however if guests are being allocated the room with no wind

Where it was located.

The first room we were allocated had no windows and was located upstairs, which were accessed via broken metal stairs. Luckily the very nice gentleman who was booking us in moved us to another room. Also, a dirty tissue and hair scrunchie in bedside cabinet and an extension lead balanced on the chest of drawers with the kettle plugged in to it. Got the feeling that health and safety was not a priority.

Beth the staff member and all were amazing..tv didn't work but apparently an upgrade on the TVs is on the cards..not the hotels fault..Beds and sheets and pillows were amazing.

Perfect clean pub to stay in, with amazing staff!

Just a really lovely place to stay. The staff make it, hands down! Clean, great food and beers, lovely atmosphere. Good value.

fire exit light in room too bright to sleep. couldn’t use toilet properly to pee because of roof. only hand held shower.

it was worth the value of our money; the place was clean, tidy and quiet.

we love its location at the heart of the city right in front of the Wells Cathedral; the bed is also comfortable and the organic shampoo and body wash were great additions

Superb

Excellent place to stay for meeting family in Wells. No parking on site but plenty of streets 5 minutes walk away. Great for Xmas Market. Very friendly staff and room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for our dog too.

Looking forward to White Hart starting to serve food again. But there are plenty of other places to eat close by.

Excellent value for an overnight stay, opposite cathedral and a few minutes walk from High Street

Clean room, quiet and very good location. Very cold snap in weather so asked for extra blankets but given a fan heater instead which was very efficient in heating the room.

Room and en-suite a little tired but didn’t detract from a great value overnight stay in the centre of Wells.
