Amazing little gem of a house in an ideal location

Absolutely beautiful property as close to the centre of Wells as you could get. Spotlessly clean and everything you need is provided.

Sheer perfection

Loved absolutely everything! The online photos are impressive but, in reality, the actual property and its interior is almost overwhelming; it’s spectacular. The exterior is a neat town cottage; the interior a vast, modern space, with a top of the range kitchen, and relaxing lounge and dining area. The back wall of the house is all window, which opens onto a space that is double what it appears to be online, and on two delineated levels. I was not surprised to learn that a gardener tends the planting here, which was well chosen and impeccably maintained…posies of garden flowers are found in most rooms; an absolute joy. The upstairs rooms are of design magazine quality, and most luxurious, as is the plush carpeting which makes being barefoot SO COMFY. When past reviews mention a welcome kitchen pack… that is an understatement. Bread, milk and wine are always a joy but, what is present in the kitchen meant that I did not need to bring pepper mill, ice bags, sharp cooking knives, vinegars, spices etc. The faux ice cubes were ace…even though a barman in a local hostelry gave us a bag to bring to the cottage, they soon disappeared and…the con-ice never ran out! Jerry, the owner of this delightful, superbly located property, informed us that he had just secured a private parking space nearby so… heaven. We had a quality stay, in top-rate accommodation; I cannot rate it highly enough.

Lovely place but state no handrail

Beautifully decorated and appointed and perfect location in the centre of Wells.

We travelled with my elderly mother in law, and the pictures and spec didn’t say that there was no handrail on the stairs and she really struggled. She then had a fall in the entrance way where the step is.

We loved the accommodation. Comfy and luxurious.

Pouring with rain on arrival. Quick phone call to the owners and we were allowed to go in early to the property. Instructions for entry were clear. The house is a Wow. Absolutely everything there that we could possibly need. We all want to live here permanently.

Shame the carpark is only a short stay one but we found another about 4 minutes walk away that allowed us to park 24 hours for £6.50. For a city we feel that was exceptional

Wonderful immaculate property in an incredible location

The property was absolutely spotless and beautifully-decorated. It had absolutely everything we needed and was in a wonderful convenient location. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

great couple of days in a unique home in Wells.

The location was brilliant. the house was beautifully decorated and everything was such good quality. beds & bedding - very comfortable. kitchen well equipped. we had everything we needed ( just the spanner for the BBQ gas could not be found) however your lovely neighbour came to our rescue. loved the climbers on the wall!

Great place for a family get together

Beautiful house in a great location, the garden was a bonus especially as we had good weather. Parking was abit of a pain but Waitrose was only 5 mins round the corner.

Cosy location right in the middle of the City.

Exceeded all expectations. Good space for a group of friends. Comfortable beds, great shower and an amazing kitchen.

An extremely comfortable house in a central location. We would love to stay again.

The house is very attractively decorated and comfortable. The garden is lovely to sit in. We found all the rooms are comfortable with plenty of high quality facilities. The instructions pre and on arrival from how to find the house and the key to how all the facilities work were spot on.

Nothing, we cannot fault this accommodation.

Fabulous stay in immaculate, beautifully presented house right in the centre of Wells.

Location was fabulous. The house was well equipped, beautifully decorated and furnished, and very comfortable to stay in. The courtyard garden offered complete privacy and was a peaceful place to sit and chill. I would definitely recommend and likely return one day.

There was a dirty/used towel on the back of the bathroom door when we arrived. Obviously overlooked by the cleaning staff as the rest of the house was immaculate.

Lovely stay in a beautiful house.

beautiful property, very comfortable and such a great location. The hosts showed great attention to detail. A really great stay and Wells is lovely. we would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

we had very hot weather which is great, but found it difficult to get air flowing as there are not many windows to open on the front of the house. Normally this would be no problem at all.

Great location in the centre of Wells. Amazing cottage - very clean, modern kitchen and bathroom, outdoor back garden great - everything just brilliant!

Offsite parking - but wasn't a problem as car parks a few minutes walk and relatively cheap

Beautiful comfortable house in Wells

Very clean and comfortable, extremely well equipped, stylish decoration with attractive sculptures and pictures. The seats, sofas and beds are comfortable, the bathroom is great with a powerful shower, The outside area is completely private, a lovely place to sit with a fire pit (we had so much sunshine that we didn't use this) soft interesting lighting, different areas to relax in, and a convenient outside toilet. The house is ideally located centrally in Wells. Free WiFi throughout and good phone signal too.

Nothing! This house is exceptional. Parking takes a little organising but this did not detract from our stay.

Perfect base location for the lovely city of Wells, right in the city center.

electrics in garden seem to be an issue - it kept knocking the fuse out. Have to add on payment of car parking and had to go to long stay in Waitrose before 9 each morning, but i was ok with it as it got me out of bed :)

The apartment is furnished to the highest standards , located very close to the high street and at walking distance from most tourist attractions. It is a sizeable property. Well suited to 4 people. The owners have taken great care to provide everything you might need during your stay.

NIGHTMARE HOSTS! AVOID!!!!!

Leaving and going home. They don't even deserve a score of 1.0

Shower leaked into bathroom and then into kitchen, host blamed me. The waste was blocked and the host knew about it. Odd job man turned up at 9.30am just as we were checking out, I asked him to come back as it was inconvenient (not my responsibility, I was on holiday). He got very aggressive and angry with me. The host then messaged me to say they were concerned what damage I had done to their property!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUMING AFTER THIS. Don't give them your hard earned money, they are abroad and not attentive to problems. Alarm in loft kept going off at night (must be because of communal loft space). Then the alarm panel was beeping because it had been triggered, couldn't sleep all night. Also, a locked bedroom with no access??? Really??? I wonder what they have going on in there....hmmmm. A terrible & never again experience. The host do not deserve to have customers. Good luck if you book with them and something goes wrong, they will never be in the wrong. Horrendous people.
