Good location, great breakfast but the room was small.

Breakfast was really great. The shower was really powerful.

The room was a lot smaller than advertised, no chair and table by the window or sofa. The bed was ok but not particularly big or comfy.

View was the best

We travel a lot so use to staying in b&b . We both thought that there was no atmosphere to the place. Staff very stiff and uncomfortable. Almost like they were scared to move or talk . Staff should be apart of the atmosphere it makes the guests feel welcome and relaxed.we didn't stay in the hotel to relax. And that's not really like us 😕. I think this has a lot to do with the man in charge 🤔. I'm not putting a negative about him because the hotel is beautiful. But he needs to relax and make his Staff happy to be there

Beautiful location and stunning reception area

The views were stunning, the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was on point. The downstairs of the hotel was superb and really modern - beautifully classic! We could sit in the bar area in the evening which was lovely and quiet - staff were really friendly

Upstairs let the hotel down slightly, could really do with modernising to match downstairs. The beds were really soft and uncomfortable - didnt sleep much but it really won’t stop us staying again. Would have liked there to be food served in the hotel in the evenings but we were happy enough to eat out.

Good location…. Plenty of car parking….Extremely clean premises with helpful Staff….

Breakfast was excellent…! Every choice available…! Staff very courteous & helpful.

Slightly disappointing not having dinner available as an option. Good location, near town centre, although a bit of a “climb” returning “home”…. Just a bit of a “test” for my Wife & I as we are both in our 70’s…. On a bus route so easily overcome.

Really enjoyed our stay, including the nice touch for our wedding anniversary celebration.

Staff very welcoming, room was perfect, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was first class, fresh food and varied. Location perfect for a little stroll down to the Lake.

We were at the front, roadside of the hotel. There was some road noise from traffic, but it didn’t spoil our stay.

Perfect!

This hotel is amazing! I can’t recommend it enough. The staff we’re very friendly and helpful. All facilities were perfect. The rooms were lovely and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I will definitely be returning

The best hotel I’ve been to in the lakes, would 100% return. Staff can’t do enough for you.

I loved the location, the breakfast, the most beautiful bathroom with lovely facilities.

The room was mostly quite cold as heating was hardly on however the bathroom temperature was perfect. Would have loved for you to do evening meals

Fabulous hotel in great location staff very friendly and helpful

Stayed here before and was extra nice this time to see restaurant/bar/reception had been renovated to a very high standard so made the stay even nicer.

Cozy room, not great for vegetarians

The view from the room was lovely. I loved the complimentary toiletries.

There was no food served in the evening. Very limited choice at breakfast if you are vegetarian, but this can be said for the whole of Bowness. Very limited TV channels and I was unable to use my Chromcast as it was blocked by the WiFi.

relaxing family break in the lakes

situated on the outskirt of town, you can visit both Bowness and Windermere within a 5 minute walk. family room was lovely, two rooms - biggest bed I’ve ever seen in one room and loved the modern shower!

its back up the hill again after visiting the lake and town but its not that far!

Wonderful location with impressive room.

Superb location. Our en-suite bedroom was stylishly decorated. Quality linen and soaps in the rooms- every detail has been thought about for guests. we asked for a room with a view and were not disappointed. Good breakfasts and the breakfast room has the most amazing view of Bowness-on-Windermere.

May be challenging for guests who find stairs /steps difficult.

Am excellent spot for a family vacation; great location, very clean property and very helpful staff.

Staff are very helpful, and friendly. Breakfast was very good. We loved the kipper! Our room was very comfy…we did not want to leave!

Thé street oath into the back parking area could be made a little bit wider by removing the garbage bins on the sides.

Relaxing Stay

Lovely clean, comfortable room. Linen and towels were lovely, white, soft and fresh and the newly refurbished bathroom was absolutely lovely. Everything you would need in your room and plenty of coat hangers is always a plus. The room and bathroom were lovely and warm. Plenty of parking, lovely bar area which you are free to just chill in. We had Sunday lunch on our arrival which was tasty and value for money. Breakfast was a tasty clean looking full English with a choice of cereals, yogurt, toast, juices etc. Great central location between Windermere and Bowness all within walking distance. Staff were pleasant and polite and the manager Jason was very hands on and welcoming.

Everything was great. Just a shame no bar meals but there is plenty of eating places local.

Great location

Great location easy to walk to Bowness. Lovely bathroom newly refurbished. Breakfast was very nice too. Would definitely use to stay again.

Downside bar to residents shut too early, also furniture in communal area needs a refurb to match the rooms, and a couple of leaks spotted by the windows.

Staff were nice, however hotel will not address the genuine issues we had.

Room was over priced Confirmed sofa bed would be made up. It wasn’t. Heating didn’t work. It was freezing. Went to bed with Woolies on. Reception was hard to contact would ring out no answer. Requested a good will gesture on return to home. Hotel will not engage. No response.

Lovely hotel, though a bit expensive on weekends

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with spurn view of the lake. Friendly staff. Not far from Bowness pier and restaurants. Calm and nice garden

The nearest bus stop was not working because of the road work but it’s not their fault.
