Leuke cottage op 7 minuten loopafstand van Lake Tekapo

Leuke overnachting wat een soort stacaravan lijkt. Wij hadden de family cottage (Pluto genaamd) wat ons het gevoel gaf dat we in een berghut aan het overnachten waren. Dit vonden wij heel leuk, met het kacheltje wat aangezet kond worden en de relaxte stoelen. Naast het gedeelte met de ruime woonkamer met eethoek en keuken, zijn er ook 2 aparte slaapkamers en een ruime badkamer. Buiten zijn er nog 2 aparte huisjes met ook bedden en slaapmogelijkheden. Vanaf deze cottage was het hooguit 10 minuten lopen naar Lake Tekapo en The Church of the Good Shepherd wat ook verbonden is met een wandelbrug naar het toeristische centrum met verschillende restaurants. In de nacht zijn we buiten gaan staan (gewoon voor de cottage) om de sterren en zelfs de Melkweg te zien.

住宿的地方，离教堂很近。

员工是个老人，非常的凶！！我找他帮我看看空调是不是坏了，那个老员工说别F**K（脏话）再找他。我承认不太使用他们的空调，但他们服务太凶了！

Great place! Perfect location!

We were delighted to be offered an upgrade to the “honeymoon suite”. The clean roomy cottage had a homey feel. The location was ideal ~ tucked away in the trees and yet a 5 minute walk to trails around the lake and a 10 minute walk from several restaurants.

Our schedule only allowed us to stay one night! : (

Great comfortable short term stay. Very pleasant friendly proprietors.

Comfortable bed, good shower with very quick hot water supply. Cute old fashioned cottagey feel to the unit. Lovely garden setting.

The shower / bathroom / toilet space was very compact. Noises in or on the roof at night were disconcerting.

Pick the right cottage - they vary!

We were upgraded by lovely staff due to error on advertising- without upgrade , we would have been highly disappointed. Very close walk to central area, waterfront and the famous church.

Upon arrival to a claustrophobic ‘cottage’ that had no room to swing a cat and was incredible freezing, we noticed there wasn’t the heating that was listed on this booking site. We spoke to lovely young staff and were given access to a two bedroom unit that had appropriate heating. I would not recommend booking the cheapest accommodation unless it isn’t cold and money is your deciding factor. The family accommodation however would be a great place to relax with others at any time of year. The place is really messy - some would say quirky - some bits are bit a lot has got out of hand and could do with some intense cleaning, dump runs and attention.

Very comfortable and private area. Clean and tidy. Pet friendly accomodation. Staff was amazing and friendly. Very closer to lake Tekapo and shops/restaurants. Would like to stay again next time.

It is a nice accommodation to stay overall in terms of beds and location.

The cottages are just in a walking distance to historic stone church and only 5 minutes walk to the shops.

The key to the main cottages door is broken but the other two cottages are fine. One heater in one cottage is not working. The kitchen light is not working and needs a new bulb. Apart from that, it is nice and cosy place to stay.

Great private location close to town centre.

Location is amazing. Lovely mountain views right next to a reserve. Great parking. Quiet outside. kitchen facilities well equipped.

Maintainance is a bit behind with heat pumps noisy and vibrating. Leaky shower surrounds and beds very soft. Some paint cracking and flaking.

great value for money accommodation, that’s very comfortable and close to town

staff were very friendly, with great recommendations for Wanaka area. accommodation was prefect for a family of four who were only staying a couple of nights and were looking to spend most of their time out and about in Wanaka. having access to Netflix and Disney apps was a bonus for the morning of rain we did get during our stay.

Very central for the town, relatively private cottage in leafy garden

More ‘bach’-like than I expected eg lots of bugs inside (downside of pretty leafy garden). Toilet light didn’t work for our stay and clearly a known issue as bulb had been removed - owner said he’d call an electrician but then we heard nothing more
