Only a short 3 night stay but more than comfortable for what we needed.

Loved the view from the house. The rooms were a good size, comfortable beds. Plenty of heating available. Kitchen was well equipped for basic cooking.

There was body wash available but would have liked some shampoo/conditioner provisions.

Overall an amazing accommodation with a fantastic view and amenities, only WiFi could be better.

I enjoyed the amazing view, the fantastic facilities, and the overall experience! The accommodation was spacious, the location was convenient and the key collection was just so easy! We have everything we need and just such a great place to stay in!

There was slow WiFi connection and Netflix was constantly buffering which was a bummer. We didn't quite like the bed heaters as the knobs were protruding out and not very comfy to sleep on.

Really relaxing, great for groups. Would stay again.

Silverfern was a lovely spaious property with lovely views it had almost everthing we wanted. It was located in a quite suburban location. A really nice spot to sit on the patio, enjoy the views and watch the rabbits. Be aware it is away from the town centre and requires a car or fit legs.

A clothes dryer would have been handy.

Exceptional

A very modern and beautiful house! Great space and Great view, lake tekapo is not hindered by another house. A very very recommended place to stay! The stars at night were very visible and beautiful!

Superb

Superb location with excellent view. House itself was great and well equiped for a holiday home with everything you'd need.

The rooms get quite hot in the morning in Summer. The main bedroom's shower head was not working properly and sprayed water in all directions.

Great place to relax and enjoy the views of Lake Tekapo

Great views of Lake Tekapo. Very quiet location and only a couple of minutes drive into the town

Only 1 aircon unit for the entire house made some rooms unusable as they were extremely hot

Lake Tekapo Silver Fern

The views were incredible, the house was well laid out, and suited our needs perfectly.

Some relaxing seating on the deck to sunbathe on would have been a great bonus, aside from that we loved the house, the facilities and views.

Fantastic property and views let down by poor cleaning.

Outstanding view of the lake, southern alps and surrounding mountains. An easy walk to town. Greta property and roomy.

The shower in main bathroom was blocked and overflowed the shower onto the floor when used. The window in end smaller bedroom had hand prints all over it. The cabinetry in kitchen was dirty and handprints all over cupboards. Aluminium joinery around doors also dirty. No tea towels or dishcloths for doing dishes. Overall cleanliness of the property was very poor.

The most fantastic little Paradise

The view was exceptional It was so peaceful and quiet The facilities were great Beds very comfortable Bathroom clean Sliding doors onto deck great as could sit outside and just stair at the view Kitchen fridge facilities fantastic

The only comment is we hadn't realised we have to pay for toilet paper once run out not included in the price. Toilet brushes needed soaking or changing. Only these two comments

Awesome huge house

Loved the space and the comfortable beds. There was a master up one end with master ensuite. Then three bedrooms on the other side of the living area with a bathroom. Great for a large group. We were two couples and were very comfortable. The view and deck were awesome. No need to go anywhere! We did some lovely walks and were lucky to get beautiful weather. Lovely bathrooms and washing machine was handy. Well equipped kitchen with lots of space. Awesome place!

There was a loungeroom in the open area with the kitchen-had a TV but it will only screen mirror your phone, no TV or apps to use. There was a snug which had a TV that worked properly. And the master had a TV that worked only using apps, no free to air TV. We wasted time trying to work the tvs out, finally contacted the reception who confirmed all of the above. Would be helpful if this was listed in the book at the house.

Comfortable, modern base for our winter holiday

A fantastic base for our family snow holiday. Comfortable, warm, modern home with lovely lake views. Well-equipped kitchen and really comfy beds. Easy check-in and out with the friendly team at Lake Tekapo Holiday Homes.

location was ridiculously amazing. beautiful town, environment, the house was epic, people were awesome, the kids really enjoyed their stay. the views from the house was outstanding. bbq in the snow.
