Prima locatie, redelijk ontbijt, maar toch ook wat kritiekpunten

Het receptiepersoneel was uitermate behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De ligging net buiten het dorp is perfect. Wel plek om te parkeren, maar toch in 1,5 minuut bij de poort van het dorp. Het brood bij het ontbijt is lekker, maar het ontbijt zelf is wat karig. Scrambled eggs tegen betaling.

Het hotel is behoorlijk gehorig. Je hoort niet alleen de buurkamer door de dunne wanden, maar ook laatkomers die hun hele levensverhaal tegen de receptioniste vertellen op luide toon. Omdat alle gangen betegeld zijn draagt het geluid heel ver. De hotelbar heeft geen light frisdrank. De badkamer is heel onhandig ingericht en de douchewand kan net zo goed weggehaald worden want het water loopt eronderdoor, waardoor het een groot water ballet wordt.

COMFORTABLE AND CONVENIENT TO THE TOURIST CENTRE OF OBIDOS

Situated in walking distance of the "walled" old town of Obidos. Off-street secure parking was a bonus. Room furnished in Old style which was fun, if not totally practical. Friendly staff. We missed breakfast!

Bathroom a little quirky but everything worked.

Just for sleep and visiting nearby cities

the staff were so nice and welcoming. the hotel is very clean but rooms size is for no more than 1 person. they had parking and a swimming pool that was great. very nice view.

not much to do in the area and nothing to do in the hotel other than the pool. no resturant no bar no music nothing. even by the pool there was no music at all.

Basic but great location + friendly staff

Location is perfect only 5 min walk to the town and there are good parking. Staff are friendly and has a family feel.

It’s very basic and older - the room felt damp. Breakfast is also basic

Overall, I would stay there again. The staff was nice and the property was clean.

We liked the old fashioned vibe of the hotel.Breakfast was very good and the grounds are pretty. The location was great for walking to Obidos. The hotel is located within a hour from the airport so it makes launch for visiting Portugal. We also went to Peniche from there. Gorgeous views of the Atlantic.

The bathroom was was lousy. The shower head was twisted towards the wall and impossible to correct. The toilet seat was the flimsiest plastic and was not attached securely to the bowl. The bed was very firm.

Quiet location a few steps away from the historical centre.

The breakfast was good with warm and cold options, and an automatic coffee machine that offers a variety of options. The location was just a few minutes from the historic center and very convenient to walk to. The rooms were basic but clean and functional. There is also a well kept garden area and a small pool.

Chocolate Festival Stay

The hotel was easy to find and a short walk from the village centre. There was plenty of car parking. We had a nice view from our balcony. We booked the romantic offer and had chocolates and a bottle of bubbly when we wanted we arrived.

Very pleasant stay

Location was great we had to go just up the hill to Obidos. Good choice for breakfast. The room was good bathroom was showing signs of wear but overall we had nothing to complain about.

Perfect location with parking

It is located at a walkable distance from the main door to the city center and the hotel has a private parking (perfect for travellers with car). Heating was great. The breakfast was excellent. They have a table and toys for kids in the common area.

A pleasant and convenient place to stay for a short visit to Obidos.

The hotel's position just outside the town walls is convenient for travellers by car, avoiding having to navigate the narrow cobbled streets, which are not made for this. The car park is good, alongside the hotel and it's easy to walk into the town. The bath and hot water were welcome features.

The room was quite small, but adequate. The hotel is rather dated, though pleasant enough. Being outside the town walls detracted from the overall atmosphere of the visit to Obidos, though the rural view behind the hotel was a good compensation.

The location is very good, close to the castle, private parking lot, and roadside parking. Staff service is very patient. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the hot water in the bath is very good. Breakfast is also good.
