Pleasant stay, hotel could have done better very easily.

Breakfast room is great, views out to sea.

Rooms generally tired, needs a revamp desperately or at least attention to detail on ripped carpets and paintwork. I have stopped here over the years many times but I will be seeking better value for money in future.

Excellent hotel, well situated, slightly marred by the pitiful range of non-alcoholic beer and cider

The pitiful range of non-alcoholic beers and ciders in Lookys bar and in the restaurants generally. Just offering Heineken Zero and one berry cider to customers who enjoy beer and cider but are not allowed alcohol (driving, pregnancy, health reasons, medication reasons) is appalling customer service.

Beautiful location.

The breakfast was good and you get a wonderful view.

I felt the whole hotel is looking a little tired and in need of refreshing. The free wifi was terrible. I just wish hotels would just stop paid wifi and give everyone good wifi for free. Just add it onto prices.

Decent location, great food and drink!

The location is great for anyone visiting the island. It's right on the seafront, with a lovely view of Douglas bay. The onsite bar is good, plenty of different drinks and very good food. We also enjoyed the Majestic Chinese restaurant which was excellent.

The rooms were basic and a little tired. Also we stayed for 4 days and only had our room serviced once in this time, which in my view is not enough. Every other day would have been preferable. The hotel is undergoing some work to the onsite pool, so we were unable to use that at the time but we were notified in advance.

Convenient location with good parking. Very helpful staff. Good choice of breakfasts.

Corridors and room carpets very worn, and tired woodwork in room, bed head light didn't work, loose switch.

Couple of nights stay, decent value for money. Ive stayed in a lot worse places for a lot more money

Bar food and breakfast was decent. Sea view room was nice. Pool / gym / sauna etc all decent, great value for money. Clean rooms.

Decor tired, needs modernising. The shower needs upgrading, mixer taps either too hot or freezing. Bed a little firm too. Wifi not reliable.

Great location on the seafront, staff very friendly and helpful, food choices excellent. One of the best views from an indoor pool ever!

Can’t think of anything except you need to leave the main building to access the leisure centre.

Worse than Fawlty Towers.

Some staff were friendly

There is no way that this should be a 4 star. It is filthy dirty & smells. The ceiling in bathroom was covered in mold. Stench of old smoke in room. Manager did however accept that the room needed to be put out of commission. Manager was nice but reception staff unfriendly & unhelpful. Didn’t even tell you about parking arrangements. Avoid this place. It’s not cheap.

Overall good shame about internet

Excellent breakfast.breakfast staff very helpful despite being very busy.

Internet was almost useless. Extremely low speeds and continuous disconnects. Bathroom was a little dated..

Big room, we were able to check in early, which was brilliant as having a family get to together.

There was a bloody excellent band playing the night we stayed. Don't know if they have entertainment like that every weekend but wow! I think they were called Boneyard or something like that.

Having to pay to park. Come on, we've already spent money to stay there.

lovely stay with a couple of nigglesl

location and we we're wall under one roof.

we could here all the noises outside of our room plus the wind was whistling through the gaps. no staff on the bar, we had to keep looking for them at tea time 4-6pm.
