Exceptional

An excellent place to stay. This B&B is perfectly located on the promenade, 10 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, with stunning sea views & easy access to both the shops, & the transport system. The owners Paul & Lisa were very friendly & gracious, & made us very welcome on arrival. The rooms are spacious, & very clean, & come with complimentary bottles water, tea & coffee etc. The full english breakfasts were cooked to order, & were delicious. Cubbon House gets a solid 10/10 from us, & we cannot wait to stay again on our next visit to the Isle of Man.

Mum's Birthday Visit

Lisa and Paul were great hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast and comfortable rooms. Great central location on the Prom. Would definately go back.

Cubbon House Possibly The Best B&B In Douglas

Great location. The room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Super breakfast and Paul & Lisa are fantastic hosts. Definite 10/10 👍👍

Excellent location and hosts

Very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate to, hosts. Delicious cooked breakfast every morning. Excellent location, on the promenade with beautiful sea views, walking distance to shopping centre with cafes and eateries. All excursions in Douglas at walking distance or very affordable buses that run very frequently. The bed and duvet was super comfortable and room cleaned daily. If you have any issues the hosts rectify it very promptly. 15 minutes drive to airport. 7 minute walk to local Islamic centre for congregational prayers. Would highly recommend this place, the best BnB stayed in, made even more special by the hosts who go above and beyond, thank you very much 🙌🏼

As others have mentioned before, no lift and a lot of stairs, so if you find it difficult to climb then ask for lower ground room. For us the sea view out of window was worth the climb😀

Looking Forward to a Return Visit

All the room facilities you would expect in a 4 star hotel! - tea/coffee tray with biscuits, toiletries, fridge, hairdryer, ironing facility, large TV Lovely cosy bed with quality bed linen

We would recommend better quality ketchup for the full English - you know the brand !

Really nice hospitality, model bed & breakfast. Just a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal.

Really friendly hosts, made a really nice full English breakfast, were more than happy to accommodate a vegan version, went to buy vegan products. Offered complimentary tea and oat milk. Allowed me to check in VERY early, when I arrived on the Isle of Man quite early in the morning by ferry. (Located a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal) Even agreed to go to the post office to mail my postcard after I left! Gave helpful advice about public transportation and things to do... made for really friendly conversation, thank you again! If I ever return to the Isle of Man, would be happy to stay here.

Lisa and paul were very friendly owners and was welcoming and cubbon house is very tidy too and my room was lovely and my bed was comfortable i recommond cubbon house well worth staying there .and also breakfast is spot on too .i truly will miss lisa and paul two lovely people you can ask them anything they answer and help if they can.

Excellent hosts and breakfast, it’s location and food was fabulous.

Breakfast Room was lovely with great view and spotless, the quality of the cooked breakfast was excellent, the quality of ingredients (particularly the rashers) and freshness 👍 along with the hosts being so nice and friendly! The fridge in the room was handy too, along with the daily water bottle and biscuit replacement handy for a cupa.

The room could have been a bit quieter, it was possible to hear tv in the room next door which wasn’t ideal for sleeping purposes. However this is to be expected in a property such as this, considering it’s age and design. Also there was occasional noise from the street, but that’s to be expected in the urban location.

WE had a wonderful stay for our first time visit to the Isle of Man

The couple were very warm and welcoming and pleased to tell us about what to see in the locality. The breakfast was substantial and there were some wonderful restaurants and cafes nearby for meals later in the day and evening.

Extremely friendly staff, great location on the seafront, just next to the high street and bars. Comfy bed and nice clean bathroom. Room had enough space for me to move around, iron my shirts etc. Breakfast was great, they do a mean fried egg!

very clean comfortable and the hosts went beyond and above in every way, never met more friendly couple in my life who made me feel very very welcome, helpful and genuine people!!
