location advertised said 1/2 km but was easily double that. also said hotel provided transportation to the centre in fact you had to hire a taxi. definitely not walkable to the ordinary. Taxi service was good

the view! Upstairs suite had its own balcony

The bed in the smaller room was like a board. We asked for another bed, & they offered us a family suite, but charged us extra - and we had to move back to the original room on our last day. I slept on the 5’ vinyl couch. They would not refund our money so we could find another hotel. I must say the big suite was gorgeous, but no bargain. No coffee, much less food until after 9.

Very good

the room was large. the view was great. we loved Guanajuato. continual breakfast was fine. large pot of coffee, toast and fruit.

the property has shuttle at set times. wasn’t hard to walk into town but expect to pay $5 taxi back up. the ride to airport was 4x the cost of didi/Uber or taxi. you are sort of stuck with hotel charge since you can’t get to downtown with luggage.

the roaches 🪳, the drain on the shower was clogged, the bed really hard and uncomfortable, the tv remote don’t work, the lady on the reception desk, really bad customer service

Not a suite at all only has a nice view you will carry your luggage

The rooms wasn't what a would call a suite with rusted curtain shower rod and old dirty and broken tile as well as broken broken and ripped curtain. Only 1 warm blanket for a room with 2 beds Was told at arrival shuttle would take us to the center of the town so I wouldn't cancel my reservation. It was never available. Poor communication they gave me aroom because what I booked was beign sanitized was told we would keep that room for our stay they called me in the middle of my sister inlaws wedding that I had to fo back and get my clothes out of the room because they needed it. When they never told me that very unprofessional. Had clean towels when I arrived the room was cleaned the next 3 night but only brought more clean towels once. You can hear the foot steps from upstairs little restaurant and the draging of chairs. Good luck sleeping in!! You have to carry your luggage up and down stairs no matter what room you choose!!

Estephanie (I don't know if I spelled that correctly) was a lifesaver. She spoke English and was able to explain everything to me. She also helped me get a taxi for a very early flight. I also appreciated the 4 pickup times from the town center since that steep hill in high altitude to get to the hotel is killer!

The included breakfast was toast and coffee....wish I got something different.

houses that have been beautifully converted into a hotel with nice views.

first of all, breakfast is the included AT ALL! not continental breakfast. they basically lied! wifi was slow, broke down and pretty much non-existent.

I will not be returning here

Staff was very rude. The tour guides promised a time we were supposed to leave and we waited more than 40 min and nothing. When we asked for a refund he said no refund and hung up . The room we wanted city view expecting a balcony and it the view was horrible

Passable

The location is on a very steep hill and its the only way to the city center if you want to walk. They have a shuttle service but its more expensive than taxi so its not worth it to wait for the shuttle. They made me pay by cash, cause they ask for 30% extra if you want to pay by card. And when I asked why they said government taxes 😂😂. It does not worth the price you pay, just stay in city center and if you want a top view of the city take the cable car to the statue.

Panorama chocolate

The room was the largest we’ve ever stayed in so comfortable. The patio ran the full length of the extra large room it had 3 doors you can open onto patio. The view was spectacular you can see lots of historical building. The hotel provides a shuttle with limited distance but if you pay a little extra they can take you further. The Taxi’s are very reasonable if you want to stay longer or the shuttle will meet you at the university. Staff was very nice and help with what ever you need. The restaurant has great breakfast and service. Suggest the tours the hotel can set you up take lots if pesos if your a shopper you get to go too many different places that have local items.

The pictures of chocolates in the room would only be if you put them there or maybe is you requested them. You can purchase the chocolates in the lobby. So not all bad :)

The room was huge. Fantastic view over the town.

This could be a really nice hotel as the rooms are large and it's a great location. But it is let down by so many small details: the reception staff were not welcoming; he laboriously wrote three separate breakfast coupons while I waited but put the wrong times on them; he didn't offer to carry my suitcase even though there were three flights of stairs to my room; there was no desk or chair in the room despite being very large; there were broken and chipped tiles in the shower and a horrible plastic toilet seat with a pitted surface impossible to clean; the included breakfast was two slices of white toast and cofee - anything extra is charged; breakfast waitress was slow and unwelcoming. I would not stay here again.

The view is spectacular. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day!

What this property provides for a paid breakfast is shocking. Do not include breakfast in your purchase as you will only get tea and two pieces of toast and fruit if you ask. They will present you with a breakfast menu in the hopes you will purchase their additional options.

The view from the room.

We booked a large suite with 3 beds, balcony and living zone. Arriving in the evening we were given a room with 2 beds, no balcony, no living room. No discount, no compensation. We had to stay because it was Saturday night and there was no good options left. They brought us a bottle of wine as an excuse. It was funny cause Don Simon is the cheapest one you can get in the super at 85 pesos/bottle. Staying still was a mistake, cause in the morning we got into another trap. We came for a "Great breakfast" included in the room. Got a cup of tea and 2 cheapest toasts with butter and jam. Then they offered a menu with the selection of the eggs meals. We asked what we can choose from the list and got answer - anything. We had to wait for those meals about 1 hour, the meals were not good, and then we got the bill for them with inflated prices (we paid 325 pesos - you can have full breakfast anywhere in town for that money). Beware! Only coffee and toast is free. And this is the worst breakfast we had in Mexico. We travelled 3 weeks around Mexico and never were so disappointed.
