The room is not bad to stay, the Security need to be tough how to deal or approach customer not arr,

The staff at the casino, are not helpful especially the cashier's, they don't want to help a client in terms of withdrawal, and they are ignorant, they need to be trained how to handle the guest especially us coming outside their country, we go the not only for accomodations, but to play slots, 80% of staff in the casino are rude, and if that is not addressed it will affect the hotel booking as well, that is why the turnout is so poor, is because of their attitude

Hospitality in the casino, breakfast, they don't want to provide us with different size of coffee cup, they only have small cups, their cold breakfast doen not even have biscuits to eat cream, with but they provide cream for what

Cleanliness

The batteries of the locking system in both the first two rooms I was given were not working. As a result I could not open the doors. They kept on giving me tha cards, but they could not open. What I didnt like in second instant was that the person , who assisted with the room, still expected to come and collect the card downstairs, instead of apologising and sending someone else to bring the card. I had long driving from SA and I expected to rest but i could not as it was going up and down with locks that were not working. The basin drains in the bathrooms are not working properly as the water takes longer to leave the bowl.

Decent business hotel

Have stayed here manyvl times ovwr 20 years and it is one of the few reasonable large business hotels in town. Service levels seem to have improved since a few years ago. Co-located with GICC. Green and spacious grounds.

It is unexciting and feels old in places, but it's main competitor the Avani was worse when I last went (a few years ago)

The rooms are quite big, the hotel is next to the conference centre, which is very convenient. Liked the fact that the plugs where next to the bed.

The hot breakfast needs a major improvement. Plus I was given a smoking room, and had to move to a different room. The hotel is getting outdated and things like bathrooms may need renovation. Didn't like the fact that the shower is in the tub. Also I had booked an airport shuttle for 8am the next morning and the driver was nowhere to be found. I found the lighting in the room not adequate.

Disappointing stay at The Peermont, Grand Palm

The reception staff was very friendly. What they forgot to communicate to me I overlooked because of their friendliness. of course they apologized for their mishaps

I was picked up by a private car not a shuttlefrom the airport (this wasn't communicated though we had discussed my arrival times via email)and the driver had difficulties identifying me as the hotel had given him a wrong name. The room was not clean. No towels. Linen was old and off colour. The bed was uncomfortable and old. The food was dry and unappetizing. The fact that they didn't offer room service was disappointing. They said it is cos of covid but surely all protocols could have been followed still.

Expensive considering the hotel needs an upgrade, poor room service.

Nice gardens, good location

Hotel is in desperate need of and upgrade, furniture in our room was either ripped or broken. No room service offered, had to order food downstairs in restaurant and when food was sent upstairs it was served in take away boxes. airport shuttle forgot to collect is when we arrived, had to wait 45 minutes before they arrived. not what I would of expected for the price we paid.
