Bang in the centre with parking!

Location - its bang in the centre and has a parking which was very important. Place was clean, room had a view and terrace. Breakfast was ok. Perfect for a night stay.

Bathrooms need a bit of a renovation.

Good stay but damaged our car without informing us

Great location, clear room and nice staff.

Car parking in front of hotel, our car was damaged the front bumper by somebody and they did not inform us till we found it after left. We noticed they placed a sign for not parking in front of our car when we were there.

Location and views from room very good

Driving up to accommodation was difficult and parking was available but a bit confusing

Amazing hotel

The hotel is beautiful and very conveniently located, close to the bazaar and the castle (main attractions). The room was comfortable and the bathroom was modern, clean and great. We had an amazing view from the window. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Great hotel in a great location, highly recommend staying here.

The property is near the top of the hill in old town and has helpful friendly staff. It is an easy walk to many restaurants, shops and the castle. The hotel rooms are comfortable and the wooden inlaid ceiling amazing! We had a view of the castle which was fabulous. The breakfast is great - mountain tea, mini donuts with fig jam, tomato/cucumber/capsicum/cheese, bread and eggs of your choice. Great hotel!

Mysiga rum med vacker utsikt över bergen

Mysiga rum med kalkstensväggar och känsla av fjällstuga. Rummen har hög standard. Frukosten är mycket god. Fantastisk utsikt över bergen. Hotellet ligger helt nära stora torget i gamla staden. Parkering finns utanför dörren. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal.

Fantastisch mooie ervaring!

Zeer hartelijk ontvangst. Het is een telkens een wondermooie ervaring van de prachtige gastvrijheid te mogen genieten. Perfect onthaal. Zeer mooie kamers. Zeer lekker ontbijt. Wie hier logeert geniet volop van het echte Albanië en haar rijke, intens mooie geschiedenis.

A lovely town and hotel great.

The hotel was in a wonderful location in a lovely old stone building clean and comfortable room and very friendly and helpful staff.

All was great just turn right at the top of the hill as the signs stop and when driving the hotel is behind you and you don’t see it. Although it’s huge

Really unique tasteful quiet place to stay.

Beautiful terrace with an amazing view. Host was equally amazing, including an impromptu guided hike to the Ali Pasha bridge.

The unannounced power failure that affected the whole town. Despite which breakfast arrived on time. And, as ever, was delicious.

Great place, great staff, great rooms, great breakfasts, and great views

The staff were really helpful. Location was great and terrace views were amazing.

Street noise from folks, elsewhere, who behaved like they just got their first boombox and wanted the world to know. Fortunately, they didn’t stay up late so the inconvenience was short lived.

Authentic architectural environment in the heart of the city, sincere and helpful staff. Its difficult to navigate a car in narrow streets, but the staff came to meet quite a way and helped to navigated the car to the hotel

We just loved it

First of all the staff, from the manager to the people tending to breakfast everyone was really friendly and helpful. The views feom the breakfast terrace are astonishing, the view from the room also. Lovely decoration, the best place, close to the market but not in the middle of it. Beautiful adapted old house. Perfect!

Amazing location in the heart of the old town. The entire staff is very helpful and super friendly. Their English is better than in most English speaking countries. The owner took time out of his day to walk me to my car and direct me straight to the front of the hotel. Outstanding service.

Very comfortable and friendly hotel, right in the old town

Very central location for the old town. One of the most comfortable beds I have slept in for a long time. It rained a lot while I was there so I was really glad to have such a nice hotel to hang out in until it stopped.

Coffee could have been better.

Beautiful building with comfortable rooms, great views and a delicious breakfast.

We loved our stay at Kalemi 2 hotel. We decided to spend a little more on our hotel in this location in order to stay in a more authentic stone property and this place didn't disappoint. The rooms were characterful and the location perfect in the centre of the old town, a short walk from the castle. The breakfast was beautiful too - home cooked and fresh. Between our group one of the rooms had an amazing balcony view of the castle, which was lovely to sit out on and soak in the atmosphere of Girokaster.

The only tiny thing was that the shower in the suite was difficult to use without getting water all over the bathroom floor but this was easily remedied and not really a problem.

My overall experience is good. Staff were very friendly, room was clean and big enough for 2 persons. Breakfast was satisfactory as well. Hotel is located just 10 minutes away from the castle by a walk and free parking spot was a plus for us.

The main problem was internet speed. I wasn't there for a business trip but the speed was quite low even for basic internet surfing.

a Good Place to Stay

Convenient hotel in town located in a converted historic old building. Wonderfully friendly staff and a very good breakfast cooked by two local ladies.

Dreadful WiFi connections and some rooms face a lively bar opposite.
