Fue espantoso, muy sucio descuidado habían cucarachas en mi habitación, nunca hubo ninguna persona para atender desde que llegue el control del tv no funcionaba y nunca lo cambiaron, al rededor del yacuzzi había excremento de algún tipo de animal, en una de las mesas de la piscina había desde que llegue un envase vació de jugo y basura que alguien dejo y hasta un día antes de retirarme no lo habían recogido, en las noches era terrible porque estaba completamente sola en ese lugar no habia alguien por una emergencia, todo esta viejo y descuidado, incluso parte de la cerca esta rota, el mobiliario es viejo y deteriorado las areas verdes siempre están sucias, no hay personal de mantenimiento, cuando llegue no había nadie solo llevaron a darme la llave y cuando me fui tampoco había nadie ahora entiendo porque no hay huéspedes, y en la tarde cuando quise bañarme en la piscina habían varios obreros trabajando, definitivamente muy inseguro, muy sucio, descuidado, y lo peor fueron las cucarachas, termine con picaduras en la cabeza y los pies seguro de algún bicho que sale mientras uno duerme que dicho sea de paso casi no pude descansar porque de noche con tantos ruidos prefería dejar el televisor encendido para sentirme acompañada definitivamente nada se recomienda de ese lugar

Every corner of this villa was picturesque. It was luxurious without feeling sterile and touristic.

I loved the aesthetic and the garden feel which gave the home a tropical atmosphere. I loved that it felt residential and not touristic. The pool was a great luxury.

There really was t anything that stood out to me.

Upon arrival Nita (the manager greeted me with SO MUCH love and caring! she took me on a tour of the property and gave me a quick run down of the area. she even introduced me to a Brazilian family who was staying in property who I later hung out with. I didn’t expect to be in a cabin however it was Quaint and cozy! the bed was comfortable and the AC worked very well. The outside grounds was so beautiful but could definitely use a little love and up keep otherwise a beautiful oasis! would’ve been a great place to congregate with neighbors however not too much activity in the outside area during my stay. Overall I loved my stay at Sunflower villas, the location was great (with a little path through the marsh) to get right to the beach and bus stop!

The bathroom shower never really got hot but it wasn’t a full on problem as it was always so hot outside and the cool shower felt ok. I would definitely recommend a soap, Shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the bathroom. There were mosquitos in the cabin but Nita gave me an incense stick, so maybe add a mosquito deterrent to each room.

the staff was very helpful and friendly

we got placed in another property than what we booked it was further from the beach. not clean (it was a lot of sand in the shower, lots of spots, we had dirty sheets in the wardrobe, there was dirty dished etc). the internet didnt work in the property, we needed to go outside in order for getting internet access

Horrible experience.

Horrible experience. I have never experienced anything like in all of my travels. We arrived there on 31.12.2022) after travelling all the way from Europe to Aruba and upon arrival found out at the Villa that they were not expecting us. On top of that they were fully booked and said they can not accomodate us despite the fact that I showed them the confirmation document of booking.com. I also showed them our chat in the app, as they reached out to me months ago upon making this booking. They were the ones asking me in the chat when are we planning to arrive. It was 31.12., we arrived late with a 1 year old baby and they left us outside with no place to sleep. plus they were rude saying it is not their problem. I was furious and they were of no help at all. I also called the owner but didn’t answer. We had to find another accomodation, which was a nightmare on 31.12. I am putting a seriois complaint out about this situation.

ok, not great. It was for 1 night. We had reservations to go back but cancelled them.

the loft. We are 4 older people, and it was very difficult to climb the stairs. we wound up sleeping on the pull out couch.

We couldn’t find better

Full service, great swimming pool, very quiet and feel like home. We received a wonderful presentation and welcome thanks to Nita. I really recommend this place for everything especially the value for money and of Course the service of Nita was amazing.

It’s a very nice place to stay; pleasant, peaceful, conveniently located near the beach, and the property itself has lots of potential.

Check-in and check-out procedures could be improved on. When I arrived at the property there was no record of my reservation - luckily they had lots of rooms available, so it wasn’t an issue. When leaving, I vacated my room before 11, waited half an hour to check-out, but the office was closed, so I left a Whatsapp message with instructions as to where the key could be found, but got no reply.

I had a great time location great aswell and Nita was the best the hot Jacuzzi needs to be fixed and pot’s in the room

what I like about the property was the location and the staff was amazing especially Nita she made me feel like at home and very welcomed as soon as I got there and during my stay🥰

Well there was some nights that was chilly and I would’ve liked to enjoyed the hot Jacuzzi and it wasn’t working and some of the pots in the room were old and broken but Besides that everything else was great

very beautiful place that will feel like a home away from home

everything we needed was available. only thing we missed was snorkel sets, but Nita (the housekeeper) brought her own snorkel sets from her home for us personally to use.

if you don’t have a car it can be quite a long walk to the beach or bus stop (I’d say about 10/15 minutes) but you can make a shortcut through the swamp thing (not literally through but there’s a path at the edge) which will make it a 5 minute walk.

I really like the decoration of the apartment. It's renovated and clean. The pool is big and all the apartments have a terrace.

Maybe our expectations were too high but we are honestly disappointed

We liked the cleaning lady and it was nice to use the washer and dryer before going home.

Incomplete kitchen ... don't rent here if you plan on cooking. We didn't even have a kitchen knife to cook a basic meal. The portable stove top was way too weak to cook anything. A coffee maker would be very nice. A/C not working in one bedroom (it was repaired the morning we left) Horrible smell in the bathroom (coming from the sink drain I think) Very very bad layout for sharing an habitation (apartment blue). You have to go through a bedroom (the one with a queen bed) to access the apartment. There is no door for the second room (the one with two twin beds) ... it would be okay for a family with kids, but horrible for adults sharing an apartment.

The property was very clean, great value for money and a good location close to everything.

On the night we arrived, we were given the smallest room in the air bnb despite paying for the largest room. We were very surprised and expected that we will get the room we paid for (especially because we reached later than the promised time). The person at the reception could barely speak English and wasn’t understanding what we needed and we had to keep calling the manager to help. Then we were put into the a bigger room But it still wasn’t the one we had paid for. When we brought this to the notice of the manager they put us up in the the middle size room for two nights and moved us to the largest one we had for finally on day 3. When we moved into the biggest room, we realised it was full of mosquitoes since the door had been left open overnight. All in all even though the air bnb was clean and comfy- having given what we paid for in the first go and being more proactive about communicating any issues to us upfront would have been appreciated. Our problem wasn’t that the bigger room wasn’t available immediately. We do understand last minute teething issues come up always. What bothered us however was that none of this was properly communicated to us and we had to keep asking about the issues which cropped up and only then we were informed about the problems.

Good staying, good location, but the place needs maintenance and hygiene.

Location and the zone are great. Nice pool and sun chairs. Water temperature is nice to get a shower any time.

Mosquitoes. Scorpions, snails. Oxide everywere. Kitchen and restroom (actually all the place) need manteinance. Many stains on the mattress.

didnt like it though it has a potential to be an extremely beautiful place to stay.

i like the location, the garden is very beautiful, as well as the pool, it looked like a little paradise.

I didnt like the dampness of the place. There were so many mosquitos that it was impossible to sit outside in the beautiful garden. there was a damp smell inside the apartment. I dreaded going to the bathroom and going to sleep as the smell of dampness was too heavy. we stayed there for a week, but they didnt provide any extra towels or at least change the sheets. we didnt have the key for out apartment so we always had to leave it open.
