Overall! my experience was quite positive 🙌🏼

The guesthouse boasted a prime location and impeccable cleanliness. However, what truly made the experience exceptional was the warmth and friendliness of the staff, with the lovely Yeva and Dula standing out as a particularly delightful presence.

Given the excessively hot nights, they should arrange for floor fans to ensure guests can sleep comfortably.

It was okay place

Location was really close to the ocean but a bit too far from the restaurants and main area. Breakfast had good variety of fruits which was nice.

The place doesn't have AC and the fan in the room is working on very low speed, room gets really warm. We experienced many power outages and unfortunately the guesthouse doesn't have spare generator for these situations so no fan, no wi-fi, no lights. We had ants in our room, probably because our room had an entrance from the outside. So I wouldn't suggest bringing sweet stuff in the room otherwise you'll have to fight with the ants :)

The guy that runs the place was lovely and helped us with a day trip to mnemba island which was great at a good price

The rooms are okay and they have a clean shared bathroom. But the plug sockets didn’t work well with charging more than 1 device.

It’s a bit humid and damp not much air gets in was hot as room fan wasn’t doing much the power seems to go up and down but the day before we left we asked for a fan which we wished we had done when we arrived as this made it much better.

No Aircon and they keep a dog that attacked me twice even after telling them to put it on the leash

Me and my father stayed for 3 nights. Perfect place and highly recommended for travelers on a budget

The breakfast is delicious! The staff is friendly, and Dulah (I hope I spelled it right) the manager, was friendly and helpful when we needed transport or if we had questions of the surrounding areas.

Note that the following is not complaints, but rather information for you to have more clear expectations. For the price the rest is acceptable for me. There is no air-conditioning present which would be a great improvement. Shared bathroom makes it a bit difficult if there are other travelers present, but is always kept clean while we were staying there.

Great value for money

The staff were super accommodating, bkf are very nice and tasty. I liked the location as well, the pool with turtles right on the corner, rooms are clean and cozy, but mind there is no AC for us it wasn't a problem. Very quiet place, feels like home

Im Nachhinein wären wir dort gerne länger gewesen

Nähe zum Strand top, wunderschön vor allem wenn man rechts um die Ecke läuft,es lohnt sich bis hinter den Steg zu spazieren- traumhafte Farben bei Ebbe. Alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ventilator könnt stärker sein, es war echt warm nachts.

Quiet, clean, comfortable hotel close to the beach.

This hotel is in a quieter area of Nungwi. It felt safe and secure. The staff were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Breakfast is great - fresh fruit and eggs every morning!

There are electrical problems in the city of Nungwi, and as such the power does go out. This affects the wifi, but not the hotel’s fault.

Location is great Is a walking distance to the beach and to aquarium The staff is also really friendly

I don’t like shared bathroom and toilet Sometimes you have to really wait for someone to come out before you can access it Location is also nice ,next to beach but can be hard to get to as its remote with no good roads

The breakfast was great! The staff were helpful. Was really quiet at night. Really close to the beach (1-2min). Also they had a cute dog and cat.

No a/c but there was a fan which was somehow helpful.

Loved our stay at lighthouse! Great location down a quite end of the beach so nice and quite! Lovely stroll down the beach to a central location! Breakfast was great! Staff made us feel like friends. Rash will be sure that you are welcomed every time you enter. Room perfect and for a very reasonable price!

The place is strategic to many hot spots. Also,the beach is a few steps away. I loved the fruit-themed rooms instead of numbers. I would definitely come back!

Had a great stay and would highly recommend!

Very confortable, the people were very helpful and welcoming. The guesthouse is a little bit further than the center of town which was very much appreciated and calmer ! we loved how close it was to the beach and not too crowded

it was a lovely stay we enjoyed Nungwi!

The location of lighthouse was really good,close to the beach and also it was close to the baraka aquarium only 2 min walk where we got to swim with the turtles :) The room was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful

located 2 minutes away from the beach and a very nice restaurant open at diner (mixed sea food) very good breakfast, with a platter of fruits and a meal that changes every day. the staff is very kind! big bed room nice hot shower with pressure

not easy to aere the room so it was a bit hot at night even with the fan not located on the beach

Simple nice room, perfectly clean. Location was great, two minutes from the beach. Good restaurants just there. Staff was exceptional, really lovely women, ready to help you with everything. We were happy to use the option of washing our clothes, very good job done. Lots of fresh fruit in the morning. Lovely dog guarding the property from strange men and crows ;-) likes to play in the morning ❤️ We would definitely come again.
