Neispravni uređaji, pećnica koja nije radila, TV se nije mogao uključiti (daljinski upravljač nije imao baterija). Neispravan prozor u jednoj spavaćoj sobi, kojeg nije bilo moguće otvoriti. Prljav hladnjak. U kupaonicama, tuševi nisu baš funkcionalni (začepljeni su). Prozor u dnevnom boravku napuknut. Kauč potrgan. Nedovoljno toalet papira.

Appartement pouilleux, sale, délabré, froid, sans eau chaude, wc bouché,.draps non changés, pas de wifi. Service client par téléphone ou messages inutile. Honteux
Obligés de trouver un autre logement dans l'urgence. Smartflats est à bannir !!!

Terrible conditions in the apartment!
There was no hot water, no heating and a broken window! The situation was known prior to the reservation!
No follow-up and no maintenance has been in the place within 24:00!

Comfy bed, lots of space
Had to repressurise the boiler myself to get heating and hot water on 2nd night (having diagnosed the problem myself) - basically because no action was taken when smartflats were notified.

The location of the apartment is good.
The helpline was not helpful at all! There was no heating or hot water during my entire stay. I have asked for help via online chat and email, and my friend Alison Price used WhatsApp and email to communicate with you. The problem has not been fixed. I therefore ask you for a refund.

Location was ok
Everything in the stay was bad. You guys need to learn how or the meaning of customer service especially if the customer has problems in the flat cause by your miss treatment of the apartment!
First the apartment was dirty! I wouldn't leave such a place to anyone in such dirty conditions.
Second we had a problem since the first day with lights in the bathroom, it flickered made a buzz sound and stoped working… after contacting service nothing happened for 7 days! No one came or checked it. So we had no privacy in the bathroom we had the door to be opened all the time.
Third, internet didn’t work, the passwords were wrong, i also contacted the service and the played me dumb asking to check if the router is at the house, asking abt my internet connection settings as if it’s my first time connecting to internet. I had to work for 3 days and do meetings online, so i was leaving every morning in search for a coffee place a restaurant that has a quite zone and good internet where i could work and attend my meetings.
Forth, the coffee machine didn't work, also contacted the service and they did nothing we had to buy coffee all the trip because they didnt want to come and check or fix the problem.
Fifth, the tv remote had no batteries,
The table in the living was broken and left there.
Sixth, we had no extra sheets for the sofa bed or extra pillows.
Seventh, safety? Have you heard abt that? We can’t lock the door from inside the house, the building was open to anyone coming in the building you didnt even need a code to enter the building.
Last but not least, the customer service was the worst service ever they didnt answer my calls, they didnt attend to our problems and they treated me like a dumb person! We contacted booking and they had the audacity to lie to them saying that they came and we were sleeping yet we were up everyday early morning because i had to work and left the apartment to find a place to work.

The flat had two bedrooms, a good kitchen with decent fridge and plates and glasses. The dining table was a good size and so we're the beds in the room.
There was no hot water. Even after resetting the boiler multiple times. There was heating as the radiators turned on, but that didn't after waiting 20-40 mins each time after a reset lead to any hot water. This meant we didn't shower. The most we could do was rinse our feet.

I didn't know that to use the sofabed you have to pay extra 25 for the sheets and tell 48h before

Good Location.
1. We had no hot water in our apartment for our entire trip. I contacted the property regarding this by email and they responded by email saying they would look into it.
However when we hadn’t heard anything else, we then phoned the property to ask for help and they denied receiving my email (even though they responded & I forwarded on proof to them of this)
They did not solve the boiler issue - we were allowed access to an apartment on the 5th floor to use the shower. Our apartment was on the 1st floor. They did not offer to allow us to completely change apartments in order to have access to shower facilities.
2. There was no lights in one of the bed rooms. The main light and the side lamps did not work.
3. There was only one mirror in entire apartment. One mirror in the bathroom. No other mirrors in any of the bedrooms.
4. The Lift in the building was broken.
5. The overall maintenance of the apartment was Extremely poor. Holes in the door, cracked windows, lumps in the wall.

We were very disappointed with the owner's attitude as well as with the response we received from staff at booking.
We booked Smartflats Berlaymont number is 402, on the 3rd floor on Rue Joseph II, 130 in Bruxelles for three nights. My colleague was sleeping on the ground floor and I took the room in the first floor of the same apartment. On the second day unknown man entered our apartment at 7.30 am while we were both still sleeping. This person entered the apartment with a code (obviously he had one), he switched on TV and burst in each and every room in the apartment. After I screamed to get out, he left the apartment. We immediately informed the owner and asked him to change the code, there only reply that day was:

today I was still sleeping when my colleague called me in panic naked in bathroom that there is unknown man in our apartment - Smartflats Berlaymont number is 402, on the 3rd floor on Rue Joseph II, 130 in Bruxelles.
At first I thought it was a joke but then I heard someone leaving through the main door and that the TV is on.
Apparently some one else has the lock code of our appatmernt, so we are urging you to immediately change the code!
It is unbelievable that something like this can happen with all our belongings in our suitcases in our rooms.

We contacted Booking. We did not receive any help as they were constantly repeating that the owner has 24h to reply. Bear in mind that we needed to stay there for another night very frightened. We still have not idea who that person was. We did not get any explaination at all.

Having read the reviews we were a bit skeptical, willing to give it a try since it was only for a night.
We actually had a different experience than many other. The apartment was clean and well prepared for our 5 person family. Also the pictures were quite representative. It is true there is some parts are worn only a little bit, like loose wall paper but that seems to be caused by 'bad usage'. E.g. the bathroom was more clean than average. The apartment is almost literally in the EP and faces a small park with playground for young children. Elevator worked like a gem. Of course all this in perspective of the price asked, if the price is premium it might be overrated but we were happy with the stay and would look forward to returning.

First flat wifi didn't work and we didn't find the remote control for tv.

Very clean and spacious apartment. Location is great for exploring the European quarter on foot. Also close to the metro for exploring further afield.
Hot water ran out very quickly. Also tried to shower the next morning, and the water was ice cold after three minutes.

The water boiler was too small for 3 people. It would be advisable to change it to a bigger one because it was not possible to have 3 showers in a row with enough hot water.

Smartflats relocated the two of us with less than 24 hours notice due to an alleged electrical failure in the Berlaymont Apartments which is where we had originally booked. We had no time to rebook and they had already taken our money before letting us know about this so called electrical failure. In fact, our business commute - as it had become p took us past the Berlaymont Apartment every day multiple times a day, and we saw no evidence of any repair work or any attempt to rectify the so called electrical failure. I don’t believe that there was a failure. think they just didn’t want to open the Berlaymont Apartment block to save money and dumped us in an appalling alternative so they could maximise profit. The new location was multiple metro stops away which was extra cost for us with no offer of a refund. The alternative apartment was in very poor condition, with peeling wallpaper, no windows in either the bathroom or the toilet but also no extractor fan either, and no hot water in the toilet wash basin so you had to wash with just the cold tap,working. The TV didn’t work either. When contacted on the first evening to report multiple issues, they refused to do anything about it and just let us stew there. An appalling company that I will NEVER use again and I will ensure that neither my company nor my friends ever us Smartflats again either. I urge all who read this to NEVER use this company Smartflats ever as they are a complete bunch of charlatans. AVOID. AVOID. AVVOID.

Very uncomfortable beds and couch. Worse even the heater boiler was so noisy and vibrated the whole house that every few hours we woke up getting a shock. Lift sometimes works sometime snot, we had to carry our luggage 3 floors using stars up. TV had no remote. The toilets and bathroom fans not working (Defect) so there is in bathrooms and toilets a bad odor smell. Oven not working. Too often the heater wasnt working halfway showering had to reset and go back to bathroom. One bathroom had a flickering light was difficult to use at all, so we used the other bathroom (we had the biggest choice with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms). Etc. etc. I tried contacting host but no reply at all, clearly not interested.
