Just a perfect experience

Great place in Sigiriya. The family is incredibly friendly, helpful and radiates kind and positive energy. The place is located in a nature corner that is very peaceful, quiet and feels nice to be in. The hosts really go out of their way to help you in any way possible. Book right now!

Wonderful hosts and decent rooms

A cute homestay tucked away on a back road. The hosts are very friendly and sweet! Rooms were large, well maintained, and bathroom was decent. Mosquito nets over the beds which is always appreciated! They did my laundry for me upon arrival and had it ready for when I left the next day. They also made us breakfast at our requested time and it was delicious!

The homestay is a little far from all the restaurants. It's walkable, but the path is off a very dark street with no sidewalk so can be dangerous at night with all the vehicles driving around. No A/C, but had a fan. Had some strange bugs come in through the cracks.

Es war schön und entspannend

Das Essen war sehr lecker und sehr reichhaltig. Die Besitzer waren sehr aufmerksam und haben uns ständig Tee und Kekse gratis gebracht. Das Abendessen war großartig und äußerst günstig . Wir genossen die 2 Tage sehr. Auf dem Balkon konnte man entspannen und das Vogelgezwitscher genießen!

Hébergement d'exception avec une famille incroyable

L'hébergement était incroyable. Tout est très propre, la famille est d'une extrême gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner est super bon, ils ont même fait deux petit déjeuner sans gluten pour mon intolerance. Vraiment un logement parfait ! Allez y les yeux fermés vous allez être conquis par la famille et le cadre calme au milieu de la nature. Ils peuvent même vous faire un super dîner. Ils sont pleins de petites attentions, ils nous ont servi des jus frais tous les après midi par exemple.

Good value for money but the facilities were extremely lacking.

The staff were extremely friendly and the room was excellent value for money. However there was no hot water on the evening we arrived and the following morning which was really disappointing as that is what I would expect as a minimum. The wifi was extremely hot and miss and didn’t work at all the day we checked out. However they were very generous by giving us a free juice and the free breakfast was plentiful and delicious!

Exceptional

Lovely homestay with big and clean rooms. The breakfast (local food) prepared by the mother was extremely delicious!

Location is not in the city center, but the tourist sites are only a short bike or Tuk Tuk ride away.
