Stay safe and avoid this place

Spent outside last night I had booked there and I felt way safer outside than in this hostel. Guests are not like average tourists. Some of them seem very agressve. After being verbaly abused by a person in the room, I was scared to spend the last night in the room. Night staff was not helpfull at all, also quite agressive.

Calidad precio súper bien, el desayuno fue genial Gracias!

La propiedad está bien ubicada, era limpio, me dejaron pasar antes para dejar mis maletas, y fueron amables, el desayuno súper genial.

Si bien está limpio, pero si necesita ciertas mejoras de la infraestructura, que lo hace ver sucio… como humedad en las paredes, las camas hacen ruido cuando uno se levanta/acuesta, pero creo que con un poco de mantenimiento se resuelve.

Una nit de fires

La ubicació i que l' habitació de 6 persones - just érem 6- tenia bany complet. Pel preu que vam pagar, entrava esmorzar.

No es pot demanar massa pel preu pagat. Si no ets massa exigent i no t' hi estàs massa dies, està molt bé. Els matalassos molt justets i la neteja també.

Que a mi amigo le cobraron de mas por el apartamento y ahora que queremos ponernos en contacto para que devuelvan el dinero de mas que nos han cobrado, no nos contestan.

Honnêtement, c'est dans un endroit proche de toutes commodités. L’accueil est excellent et le traitement est très bon, et je les en remercie.

Ce qui m'a dérangé et m'a empêché de dormir cette nuit-là, c'était l'un des invités qui ronflait beaucoup.

Rapport qualité/imbattable. Personnel très accueillant et arrangeant qui parle plusieurs langues dont le français. L'auberge de jeunesse est située à 2 pas des restaurants et du centre historique.

Le manque d'hygiène, de propreté et de savoir-vivre en communauté de certains voyageurs. Malheureusement ce n'est pas le fait de l'auberge de jeunesse qui fait tout son possible pour nous accueillir dans les meilleurs conditions mais à cause de certains voyageurs qui se pensent chez eux. Mentions spéciale à ceux qui parlent fort dans les chambres et allument la lumière à 01h00 du matin ou à d'autre pour qui la salle de bain doit ressemble à un dépotoir chez eux.

Worst place I have ever stayed - terrible

The guy at recepeption was friendly even when I was complaining.

This is the WORST place I have ever stayed - and I have travelled all over the world staying in hostels. Filthy kitchen over crowded dormitory, dangerous electrics, damaged furniture, filthy dishes, hardly any utensils or other cooking equipment in the place. There was so little room in the dormitory that you could hardly squeeze in the door and there was nowhere to put you bags. I was supposed to stay 3 nights and left early on the first morning because the place was so unsavoury I was actually concerned for my health. I am in the process of lodging a complaint with Booking.com. When I spoke to the receptionist about my issues he was friendly and gave me the phone number of the boss who I then contacted several times but they ignored all my phone messages and the ones on the Booking.com platform. he only saving grace was that the staff were OK and the place was quite central.

Okay für kurzen Aufenthalt

Sehr gute Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, viel Platz

Hostel ist in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte eine. Grundreinigung. Die Küche war überall so dreckig, dass ich nichts anfassen wollte. Das Bett war leider sehr unbequem und quietschte bei jeder Bewegung. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok, bei längeren Reisen würde ich es nicht empfehlen.

Cheap qnd nothing else

The price is quite affordable, but I think that's why the owner doesn't feel like investing in the place to maintain and improve it.

Except for the price, everything could be improved. The beds are moving making very annoying sounds, the tiles in my room were broken. One quick thing I would recommend the hostel implement to improve the experience: put some hangers in the bathroom so guests can put their clothes while taking shower.

SORPRENDENTEMENTE ESTUVO BIEN

La ubicación es muy céntrica. Las camas son cómodas. El desayuno es correcto. Afortunadamente coincidimos con gente muy tranquila y educada con los que llevábamos horarios muy parecidos.

El edificio es muy viejo y algo deteriorado. La cocina casi es preferible no usarla

Habían muy pocos enchufes en la habitación y ninguno cerca de la cama. El desayuno era un poco regular, el café solo era soluble (no está muy bueno) y no tenian niguna opción sin gluten para comer (pese a que escribí previamente avisando)

Una estancia de relax e introspección maravilloso. He vuelto renovada a casa. Repitié sin duda.

El edificio es muy bonito, amplio con varios baños grandes y reformados. La cocina muy amplia con buenos electrodomésticos y utensilios para cocinar, siempre estaba limpia. Las salas de estar, cómodas, muy amplias y con mucha luz natural. En las salas comunes, hay unos balcones muy espaciosos y cerrados con cristaleras coloridas, en uno de ellos se puede desayunar o comer porque tiene una barra adaptada sin perder el encanto. modernista. Se respira mucha paz en éste albergue, muy tranquilo y muy bien ubicado, en el centro de Gerona. El recepcionista , un encanto, me ayudó a subir y a bajar la maleta. Al Sra. que se encarga del desayuno, adorable, muy amable, empatiza con todos los huéspedes. El hostel está muy limpio. Una cosa muy buena es que tiene habitaciones únicamente para mujeres y en la que estuve, hay un baño tipo suit y un balcón a calle. Preciosa.

Superb

Really lovely hostel in a historical building with high ceilings, old tiles on the floor, and a picturesque view from the balcony. Entrance to the spacious bathroom is situated directly in the sleeping room - it is really comfortable and it's not the most common feature in hostels. The breakfast is fine, the location is perfect.

The room was tiny and my bed was really close to the door. Power outlets rather far away from the bed. Only instant coffee for the breakfast.

Unfortunately one of the worst hostels. No sockets in the room. Beds are really loud. Super uncomfortable all in all. The sinks are small so you can’t even refill a bigger bottle of water. Surprisingly the breakfast is okay, still wouldn’t recommend it.

Very friendly welcome in Girona.

A super freindly hostel in a really nice old building in a very central part of Girona, just a short stroll across the river from the old town but with all the faciities you'd need close at hand. The kitchens were great and clean, and the breakfast was very good. Staff are its greatest asset, though.

The guy you welcomed people at the hostel. He is very kind and give us a lot of info. The building. It's an old and well decorated building. The bed was comfortable.

The bed makes too much noises and you could wake up the others while going to sleep. The lockers are too small to insert any backpack or suitcase. The breakfast lacks fruits.

Good place to stay.

It wasn't too far from the bus and train stations. Nice clean female dorm with bathroom. Lounge with comfy chairs looking out onto the street. Kitchen is small. No kettle or microwave, they are in the breakfast room!! The breakfast was good, bread for toast, cereals, ham, jam etc. I was only there overnight but enjoyed it.

Nothing really could do with a kettle and microwave. Had to wash a dirty pan out to boil water for tea!!

Alright for a night, cause close to train station

Kitchen was well equipped.

Bunkbeds are super light like made for children. Everytime I climbed up mine I almost pulled the whole thing down with me. Hardly any outlets in a 6 bed room. WiFi very limited range in common areas. Breakfast was a bit poor. Lockers did exist, however they're very small. Oh and the lightning in the room was a light bulb hanging from a cable and pointing directly in my face while I was on top of the bunk.
