Exceptional

We loved this property. it was so comfortable and very well equiped and close to everything, while being just far enough away to be private. The garden courtyard was an extra bonus.

We would recommend Southcot to anyone visiting Bath. Helen was a perfect host too.

Southcot Place is a beautifully appointed apartment with all the comforts of home. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the lounge and beds are super comfortable and there’s a quaint little courtyard with an amazing view of picturesque Bath.

Cosy, stylish apartment with pretty views

Very spacious, airy, light apartment. Well-equipped kitchen. Comfy sofa and beds. Beautiful view from both sides of the apartment. Friendly hosts. Good location within easy reach of city centre and walks along the canal and to the Bath Skyline.

Difficult to find parking opposite the apartment if you go out. The host saved us a space when we arrived which was appreciated. Parking also quite expensive but that's Bath.

Ideal location, lots of space for a family with 3 young children.

Location axcellent. Friendly arrival welcome with thoughtful touches like welcome basket and vegan toiletries. Great views out of the kitchen window and patio. Good layout with quiet bedrooms on the lower level.

While it's possible to have the sofa bed as a bonus sleeping space, in reality the street light pours in from above the shutters in the living room, and the kitchen window in the morning.

Lovely property in the perfect location!

Very clean, comfortable, well equipped and beautifully presented property. Perfect location for exploring Bath. Lovely extra touches like welcome basket of goodies, blankets/throws and hot water bottles. Our host Helen was really helpful recommending local restaurants.

This was a lovely welcoming place to stay even in the middle of winter, ideal for everything we wanted to see in bath, a

spacious, clean, well-appointed, excellent facilities, lovely Christmas decorations, small touches like gifts, washing capsules, and milk in fridge on arrival, blankets, great bathroom

Very minor points: bedside tables would have been useful, in the daytime it was sometimes a bit cold (but we could have asked for heating to be adjusted and we didn’t feel we needed to)

Perfect little flat close to the city centre

Our hostess could not have been nicer or more helpful! The flat was immaculately clean and lovely. The beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic. 10 out of 10!

Everything was perfect :)

Helen’s place is absolutely amazing! It's clean and everything you possibly can think of for a holiday is available - a fully equipped kitchen, coffee station (with coffee capsules too!), and books! Helen was very responsive and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay there and would love to return!

Delightful short break, with amazing friends in a perfect location.

Southcot Place is conveniently located for Bath city centre. The apartment was comfortable, quiet and beautifully thought out, we had everything we needed. Helen, the owner met us, to hand over the keys and to explain about parking and how things worked, in the apartment. I have to say, whenever I contacted Helen prior to our visit, she was very quick to respond and helpful with her answers - much appreciated.

A great short break, comfortable, clean accommodation and a super friendly host.

Helen the owner communicated well in the run up to the visit and was really helpful throughout. The sun terrace set in a beautiful walled garden as perfect for alfresco drinks and a sunny breakfast spot.

Ideal spot to explore Bath

The accommodation is so well placed for the centre of Bath, just a few minutes walk. It is roomy, comfortable and homely, very comfortable beds and in a quiet and peaceful location. Helen, the owner was very approachable & friendly and welcomed us and answered our questions and made suggestions to make our trip more enjoyable. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

Just returned from a fabulous Pre Christmas Weekend in Southcot Place. The apartment was perfect, can’t fault it in anyway! A real home from home and excellent location. Helen was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely love to return in the future.

We would definitely stay here again. Our host was terrific and we loved the property and location.

The location of Southcot Place, south of the city but within a 5-10 minute walk, is perfect. The train station is only 5 minutes away and you can walk to Prior Place and the Skyline Trail directly from the property.

Location was great ; walking distance from the train station and the center . One has to be able to walk up the hill. It is in a quiet and very charming area

Perfect Location

Comfortable place to stay in an excellent location

Excellent location - the centre of Bath is only a short walk away, yet the apartment is located in a very tranquil area. We felt very at home and relaxed here. We breakfasted in the garden each morning, looking at the views and enjoying the peace. We appreciated the provision of some basics (milk, tea, coffee, toiletries) and loved the welcome basket which included a few treats. Previous reviews note problems with WiFi - we had no issues at all with it. We would definitely book again. Thank you Helen, the lovely host.

Nothing really, all was great. If constructive recommendations are wanted, the only little niggle for us was a lack of bedside tables - a small, movable table would do the job just fine.

Fantastic property fantastic location

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac this period property is 5 minutes into town with a lovely high street nearby. A great location and in Helen a very helpful host. Would thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely faultless - take me back!

Absolutely spotless! Couldn't find fault with anything!! What a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location! 10min walk max to get into Bath Town! The beds are comfy and nice and cool due to them being in the basement, this meant on a hot day (30°) we could sleep comfortably!! Bathroom was amazing, and the kitchen and living room to match. Everything you needed in the kitchen was there plus more. Garden area was gorgeous where we had late night drinks with snacks and card games. Every light bulb worked!!! (which for me is normally a big bug bear). Home for home! Helen the host was lovely - take me back now!!
