A great weekend away in an exceptional guesthouse.

The host Toni was wonderful. Location was very convenient. The room was exceptionally comfortable and breakfast was a delight.

Toller Aufenthalt im Chestnuts House!

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Bath ideal, da man in wenigen Gehminuten direkt ins Zentrum gelangt. Dennoch liegt die Unterkunft sehr, sehr ruhig und ermöglichte einen störungsfreien Schlaf. :-) Das Zimmer hat eine angenehme Größe, wir hatten sogar eine kleine Terrasse dabei. Das Bett war sehr groß und auch das Badezimmer bot genügend Platz. Toni, der Gastgeber, zauberte uns jeden Morgen ein supertolles Frühstück und gab uns auch ausreichend Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt in Bath. Des Weiteren gab es jeden Tag ein Stück Kuchen aufs Zimmer! :-) Auch Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt an der Unterkunft, was sehr angenehm war. Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder! :-)

Fantastic.

Great location. Parking on site. Very clean and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast and great touches, like the little treats in the room under the glass dome!

The fan in the bathroom, ‘though necessary, was noisy and couldn’t be turned off when the lights were turned on!

Lovely guest house in great location.

Loved the location, staff, decor, cleanliness and the lovely walk through Henrietta Park to get to the old town of Bath.

The shower in room 4 was dangerously slippery. Though I despise bath mats, I had to rely on the one provided (which honestly needs to be larger to cover more of the shower floor).

Lovely long weekend stay in Bath would highly recommend

Our room was very nice with everything there toiletries, fridge with fresh milk & water in also cake each day. Room serviced each day too. Breakfast was out standing, lots of choice & freshly cooked all served to our table. Nothing was too much trouble & chocolates in our room for our wedding anniversary too. Roughly 15 minute walk into Bath.

Beautiful quiet home with great food close to the major sights.

The host was delightful; the room was both elegant and comfortable; the location was both quiet and close to major sights; and the breakfast and other goodies were absolutely delicious. Great place!

Parking was a little tricky, but that reflects the neighborhood. And the host helped us make it work.

What an absolute gem! We feel so lucky to have stumbled across this wonderfully run business

Great location for the city centre. Perfect host - amongst so many good things Toni recommended a fab scenic canal walk back to the city that we would never had known about had he not taken the time to give us some wonderful local knowledge. EXCEPTIONAL breakfast.

A lovely stay for a historic city

A well appointed room with plenty of room for luggage and just relaxing, and a comfortable bed and facilities. The hospitality was fantastic with small home made treats like carrot cake and brownies left in the room each day, and a well cooked breakfast each morning with a number of options to select from. The location was an easy walk into the heart of Bath and not far from bus options either. Advice for local restaurants and tours was also offered and on hand.

Was occasionally some traffic noise from a nearby road - mostly as traffic started in the morning. Not a big issue, and this room was the closest to the road, just could be something if you hoped for a sleep in or are a light sleeper.

Highly recommended, if we come to Bath again, would definitely stay at Chestnuts House

Location excellent, a 10 minute flat walk to the centre. the room was beautiful, included a small fridge which had fresh milk and an insulated flask of cold water each day, plus a treat of cake was put in the room. The breakfast prepared by Toni was great, a good choice including the best fresh fruit salad we have had in a hotel or guest house.

Lovely place to stay in Bath!

Phantastic Bed&Breakfast in a quite area only ten minutes walk to the city center. Lovely bedroom. The owner Toni prepares the excellent breakfast and serve it by himself. One of the best porridge we ever had! Toni cares a lot for his guests and provides you with great recommendations to your stay in Bath.

Absolutely excellent

This was a fantastic B&B. The room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. Staff were super friendly. The area was peaceful but a very short walk into the centre of Bath. And the breakfast was incredible. We will absolutely be staying here again

Amazing from start to finish. Warm welcome, smooth check in with tea coffee & some cake!!! Perfect way to check in. Toni was just fantastic. Gave me a map ; guide to bath. Breakfast was delicious. Great location, few minutes walk into city centre, really friendly & helpful host with good recommendations, very clean, nicely decorated property with good choices for breakfast.

Only criticism we had was we would have liked our poached eggs cooked for a little longer on the first morning!
