Excelente. Voltarei com certeza.
Pousada bem familiar. Sebastião sempre esteve à disposição. Os quartos são limpos e arejados, com ar condicionado bem gelado. O local é próximo ao Estádio do Maracanã, e de fácil acesso às praias de Copacabana, Ipanema e Leblon. Voltarei com certeza.

Real Rio homestay experience
Let's be completely fair here. This is a family home that rents out rooms on an official basis. Not a resort ot hotel. But it gave me a great opportunity to stay briefly in a real Rio residential area. Friendly and helpful host. Great location for the bus station and Galeao Airport.
A cold shower woke me up after a comfortable night's sleep!

I Would Live Here.
The room reached a level of comfort that every traveller dreams about. There was ample storage with an en suite bathroom and fully functional kitchen included. Speaking of which, the bed was the perfect, soft and firm. I slept very well and awoke even better. The internet was powerful! One of the strongest I've had the pleasure of using in all my days. The lady in charge was very sweet and welcoming despite our impenetrable language barrier. I didn't want to leave.
The neighbourhood felt a touch sketchy to me. They don't accept card payments. This is fine, but as per my previous point, withdrawing a sizeable amount of cash around these parts didn't feel like the safest move (but maybe I'm just paranoid). I couldn't get the hot water to work. It rained something fierce on my first night, causing the AC to stream liquid to the floor and the electricity to cut out multiple times. Part of me was excited. The desk was appreciated but not very ergonomic. You'd hurt yourself if you worked here for a lengthy period of time.
