Perfect Bath location in a quiet stately building with top quality features.

Nice big room in perfect and modern condition. Very good staff and great hot breakfast.

Very pleasant overnight stay with a lovely breakfast.

Very nice well equipped clean room. Very good location, just a five minute walk to the city centre. Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was superb.

Lovely guesthouse within walking distance to the centre of Bath and its attractions.

- Lovely guesthouse within easy walking distance to the centre of Bath and main tourist attractions. - Pleasant view from our room towards the cricket ground. - Bed was comfortable and the bathroom & shower were a decent size. - Breakfast was delicious with a good selection.

- Unloading our bags on the road outside the property and then locating overnight parking was an issue. To be fair this lack of dedicated parking is clearly stated in their info. Lack of parking being the downside of a location so close to the city centre, which is the upside of the location.

Great beds, lovely food and amazing staff.

Usually, I don't sleep well in a bed that isn't my own, but I slept so well here. The shower had great pressure and was hot. The breakfast was delish, with lots of options. The staff, Debbie in particular, went above and beyond to make us feel special throughout our stay. 100% would stay again when I am in Bath.

Warm and welcoming, making our stay very special

Our stay at Edgar Townhouse exceeded our expectations. The staff were lovely and so welcoming (special shout-out to Debbie). As soon as we walked in the door Debbie gave us a warm welcome, helped us settle in and even brought us fresh milk for a hot drink. The breakfast was delicious and got us started for a nice day in Bath. It’s located in a beautiful neighbourhood near the city centre making it easy to get around. Couldn’t recommend Edgar Townhouse more! Definitely will book there again.

Great breakfast, excellent location.

Excellent value for money with a very good breakfast included. Very good location for central Bath. Quiet property, warm and comfortable rooms. Hosts were very pleasant and helpful, giving recommendations.

Loved Edgar Townhouse I recommend to everyone!

Everything! The room was gorgeous, it was a home away from home. Breakfast was incredible and the view from our room was breathtaking. 5 min walk to town and parking not far away. The host made it all, super friendly, helpful and made you feel like she was family. The Christmas tree in the sitting room felt very “English Christmas”

Great location, lovely staff, nice clean room and a great breakfast.

I liked the location - a very nice area and quiet at night. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Debbee on reception. The room was clean and tidy and I really enjoyed my breakfast. I also liked the tall (artificial) Christmas tree in the lounge - a nice touch.

Staff were friendly, food was very good and the location was excellent.

The breakfast was very good. The people working at the Townhouse were friendly and helpful.

The pillows were hard. Also the shower knobs did not work well.

Welcoming, brilliant location, amazing staff

The staff were so friendly and helpful. It did not feel like I was walking into a hotel, it was so homely and welcoming. Brilliant location, so close to the centre and restaurants.

I didn't like that my trip had to end and I had to leave!

The location, the staff and the breakfast. All fantastic

The only thing that was a little problem was the temperature of the shower which kept going from super hot to super cold. We were at the top of the house so understood the difficulty. Everything else perfect. thank you

Lovely property, amazing breakfast, wonderful staff, really appreciate that little gestures like filtered water and help with reservations! would definitely come again.

Not sure why our room was not serviced during our stay. Exceptionally clean place otherwise!

Regency feel with modern comfort

The location, the room, the amenities, the lovely staff, and the amazing breakfast. What is there not to love? The townhouse is in walking distance of the main sights and lovely gardens. Don't think twice and book it. :)

Wonderful staff, room and breakfast

Theo was very welcoming and knowledgable. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. Room was small but beautifully decorated and very clean with a great veiw.

A lovely hotel in the centre of Bath

The staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. It was a great location and we could walk everywhere.

Rooms on the small side but fine if you are out and about.

Exceptional

Lovely hotel, I have nothing negative to say. Lovely room, was nice and clean. Great warm shower. The staff were great and very helpful. Decent breakfast included. Great location easy to walk to anywhere we wanted to get to. Would recommend to others and would stay again. Probably only thing I’d advise others to think about is lack of parking near the hotel so we did have a 10 min walk with our suitcases - we didn’t mind this but may be something for others to think about but you could always drop your bags and then park the car and walk back.

Everything was amazing, so clean, amazing food and absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful staff. The place to stay when visiting Bath - you WILL NOT get any better. It was my wife's birthday and the staff bought her some beautiful chocolates.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Edgar house. The room was lovely and clean and the view was amazing. Location was perfect and all the staff were superb especially Debbie! Breakfast was delicious and had many great options. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be visiting again.
