Good location, good value, good room & facilities. Would go back.

My room was very clean and had everything required present. Breakfast was very good. The promised free parking in the road was readily available. Good communication provided in advance of my visit.

No dinner was available so it would have been useful to have some details of eateries in the vicinity.

Top marks especially when the land lady offers to wash your clothes that had been sitting in a suitcase for over a week

A nice friendly guest house. Even got shown to my room by the land lady’s pet cat who followed me from my car to my room 🤣. Only a 15 minute walk to town centre and situated in a quiet and safe area.

I am a tour driver and for a single room, on street parking close to city centre perfect for me.

A great place for an overnight stay, easy walk to town centre, great breakfast. On street parking in a quiet area and a decent single room with a comfy bed.

Nothing really- stayed here 3 or 4 times that should indicate that I am more than happy.

perfect location near the center of town but nice and quiet, super nice room with anything I could have asked for. The innkeeper lady WAS SUPER NICE and accommodating. Great breakfast. Really superb hospitality and customer service!

The property is old but quaint! My room was small but comfortable. I was so happy that the heater was on when I arrived because it had been raining and was very cold. As the taxi was taking me to my b&b I was afraid I was going to be to far from town, when actually it was only about a 15 minute walk. And what a beautiful walk along the river….

Great place close to Inverness

I was there for a very short overnight visit but the check-in instructions were very clear and communication was great. The room was very clean, staff friendly and breakfast was wonderful

The only negative was that the room was extremely small. For my overnight stay was fine but an extended stay might be a bit uncomfortable

Superb

The room is very clean !!!! There are all things we needed. The location is perfect, very close to supermarket and provided the parking.

The bathroom is a bit noisy.

Great place to stay and relax before a long journey.

Full service of shampoo, conditioner, shampoo, fan, coffee/tea and electric kettle. Breakfast is very good.

There’s smoke smelling, as well as a smell of cannabis in the room. Hair dryer doesn’t do its job.

Was a lovely room, breakfast was great, lots of choice and good welcoming host.

Happy with all aspects of stay especially the yummy poached eggs for breakfast.

Nice clean,comfortable room. Janette was an excellent hostess and went out of her way to please.

Breakfast could have been served a little earlier, however I was allowed to take a doggy bag as I had an early coach to catch to Orkney.

A pretty little Scottish cottage

This Guest house is all you could want for a stay in inverness!! Janette was a fantastic hostess her breakfasts were spatial, ideal for a day out exploring. The room was really nice clean, with comfortable bed. The welcome kit was delicious; the check in was very simple and convenient thanks to all the information provided by Janette . Which allowed me to arrive with confidence to the structure. The area was perfect in nice quiet neighborhood. Downtown, restaurants and supermarket were within easy walking distance. There was also a water dispenser and a microwave oven.

Exceptional

Ivanhoe is like a home from home. The rooms are warm, well presented, and the big mug which accompanies the tea set is a great way to start the day! This is my second stay, my younger son came with me this time and I was delighted to have the room I was in previously. Breakfast too was the best set up for a day out in the Highlands, Scottish hospitality at its best. Janette is a great host, and the location is ideal for town but the greater Highlands too. Hope to come back again (in fact due to return at the end of the week, before flying back to Wales)
