Trivsamt eget hushåll i fin miljö och underbar utsikt

Fantastiskt fin miljö, poolområde och egendom. Kändes som hemma i den lägenhet vi hyrde med fin utsikt från fönstren. Personalen var mycket tillmötesgående och vänliga. Vi åt 4-rätters middagen en kväll och den var utsökt. Det gick även att beställa frukost eller färskt bröd på morgonen.

Allt var bra.

Stunning, like a retreat!

The views were amazing, unit sized rooms with kitchen, dining and lounge. The pool was stunning and the dinner too.

I would have loved if a small breakfast was included as there is barley anywhere to eat breakfast in the town.

Charming villa set in the beautiful Tuscan landscape run by amazing hosts! Exceptionally clean and well presented apartments with great facilities if you want to cook yourself. The swimming pool is refreshing on a warm day and the home cooked dinner which is offered on some nights is an absolute must. It’s a short drive along a gravel road to San Gimignano which can be a little dusty in the warmer months however the views are exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The staff here are incredible. It's a family run business, and the family are incredibly helpful and welcoming. Our "room" was really several rooms (very large) with all the necessary amenities for a five night stay. It doesn't have all the trappings of a typical hotel (e.g., room service, towel replenishment, etc.), but we did not really need any of that during our stay. You can arrange for a small breakfast in the mornings, and they serve a delicious dinner three evenings a week (all for an additional fee of course). Again, the family are very nice about giving travel advice around the region and were lovely all-around. We had a great honeymoon!

Beautiful family run hotel!!

Our stay are Il Borghetto was unforgettable! Thanks to Sandra, Nicola and the rest of the team, we had an excellent time - they really make you feel at home! The dinner at the hotel on Friday night was phenomenal. The location of the property is ideal, right in the center of everything. Every morning we had crossaints from the local bakery and coffee on the terrace. I cannot recommend enough. We are looking forward to coming back. Thank you Sandra and Nicola!

You couldn’t ask for a more perfect and picturesque Tuscan stay! Beautiful property and pool, super friendly staff and the best location near the town of San Gimignano. Would absolutely recommend and would come back in a heartbeat 💓 plus their dinners on site are incredible with stunning views.

Great owners and staff. Great place to unwind, yet you are only 5 mins from San Gimignano by car.

Staff was wonderful. Simona gave us great tips on where to visit to get the most out of our trip. Many persons there were repeat customers who have been coming for +10 years. It is quite and slow paced, just the perfect place to unwind and meet nice people.

Windows/doors in our room did not have screens which meant you could not open them due to the mosquitos. This is not an issue when you visit in the summer since they have AC in the rooms. But we like the fresh air and the nights in early September offered perfect sleeping weather. Next time we will bring a king sized, no opening mosquito net. Most rooms have large wood beams that allow you to loop a long lanyard with a hook to hang a net.

Wonderful place. Can't wait to go back.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Made me feel very welcome. They went out of their way to help me. I was alone most of the time, but felt totally comfortable. I especially enjoyed the cooking class.

Fantastic

Beautiful place! Hosts are incredible friendly and clearly liking what they do; pampering their guests. The restaurant is not open every day but San Gimignano is not too far away. On our first day we didn’t want to go out for lunch so they made sandwiches for us and with a bottle of wine we could enjoy lunch on our own terrace. Appartements are spacious and clean with good beds. We only booked two nights, which we could have stayed longer. We have had dozens of accommodations in Italy but this one belongs most certain to the better ones!

It is not an hotel but a rental houses, this is the explanation that the manager gave to me to my complain: the check IN time last only 3 hours (16-19). I was driving and I called the structure at 1830 to let them now that I was supposed to arrive at 2045. Their first reply was that was too late and they told me to find another hotel. It never happened to me. After negotiation I was able to check in. Overall experience was good because I liked the location but in term of services and staff it was not good at all. Breakfast average. The manager doesn't know what does it mean customer care.

absolutely fantastic

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The villa is run by a lovely italian family: who are all amazing and do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. So much passion and love, it is unbelievable. The appartment was very spacious and clean. The views and pool are perfect. Three nights a week they serve dinner, cooked by the 82 year old grandma. Amazing dinner, amazing wine, amazing family! We will definitely be back!!
