Very clean inside and out, extremely well stocked and furnished, and great for a family gathering. The yard is perfect for games such as ladder ball or corn hole. The field across the street is a great space to set up a disc golf basket, soccer, baseball, etc., as long it’s not occupied by a group camp. The tennis courts with basketball hoops are also right across the street. Since it’s right on the edge of the bluff, it’s best for older kids, but we’ve had our small family reunions with kids of all ages there since 2007. The pool is part of the state park, so there’s a daily fee. Make sure to check the pool policy about entry days, times, and availability. The few stairs that lead up to the enormous room upstairs are a little steep, but there are ample rails, posts, and safety measures in place to make them easily manageable for most guests. We would recommend this property over all the others we’ve rented on the mountain.

Things we loved: Amazing location with panoramic view, beautifully remodeled home, Very large screened in porch perfect for hanging out, comfortable beds and linens, AC worked great, great water pressure, nicely outfitted kitchen (except no toaster) Things we wish we would have known: There is not a washer and dryer at the home. I’m not sure how far you would have to go to do laundry. Also we were VERY disappointed to learn when we got there on Sunday evening that the Park pool is closed on Monday and Tuesday. We were counting on that taking up a lot of our time with our young kids. We only had one day to swim. Also the pool doesn’t open until noon. Those things would have been nice to know. We would have booked for later days in the week. Overall it was a wonderful time together with our family.

We stayed the weekend her with friends after our wedding and the property and home is beautiful! The view is breathtaking and we loved the screened in porch. The house was very comfortable with lots of room for everyone. We will be back again!

The house was amazing and had the best views on Mt Nebo. The kitchen and rest of the house is fully stocked with everything you would need and more. It is close to everything Nebo. I would highly recommend staying here!

Our extended family had an incredible stay at this beautiful property. It was a great stay for our family of 10 with plenty of space and things to do. We went hiking and enjoyed beauty of the property. It was very well furnished and clean as well. We hope to come back!

The main floor is amazing, the kitchen had everything the 8 of us needed, and with 2 full bedrooms and bathrooms on the main floor. The upstairs is a large loft area great for kids or younger adults, older adults may want to stay on the main floor or only venture up for the night in this shared space. The sunrise views are amazing from the screened in porch, and the porch is protected from the harsh evening sun. Plenty of space indoors if the weather turns bad. The mountain offers hiking and great views all around. As a side note, this home and bluff view were absolutely awesome for the solar eclipse.

My family came to town for my nieces wedding and it was perfect! They were married on sunset point just a short drive away. The house has been updated since I last stayed there and looks amazing! Our family of seven stayed at this amazing house for two nights for our son’s wedding on Mt. Nebo. The house is beautiful and has everything you need plus more! The view was breathtaking and we loved seeing deer everywhere. Would highly recommend this house for a fun family getaway!

the house and property were beautiful and suited our ladies group so well. The kitchen was fantastic and worked so well for the meals we cooked and the table and living room space accommodated our group as well. None of us wanted to leave. We definitely want to come back.

This group of ham radio operators have gone to this house every September for decades. We eat a lot, play with our radios and enjoy the house and great view! Every year we see more improvements to the property. This year was a whole house 22K generator system and gas grill. Thanks again Shirley!

It is a beautiful, homey space. What we especially appreciated was the generosity in household items. There were plenty of towels, paper products, kitchen tools, etc. We had 4 sit down meals for 10 people in our 3 days, and had everything we needed in the kitchen.

The Kellam house never disappoints me. The house was Immaculate. The view was superb. it was so great to have with my grandkids this time, they loved it ,especially watching the hangliders going by Right in their own backyard. The house is well stocked with everything, just a great get away for family or friends.

This was our second stay here, and we will be back again, I am sure. The location is perfect - beautiful view from top of Mt Nebo, with large screened in porch (making it great all day long). The house is well planned, everything you need is available, couldn’t ask for more. Although we had no kids with us, it would be a perfect place to bring kids as the upstairs area (converted attic I think) has multiple beds and it’s own bathroom that would make a great retreat for kids. Definitely worth every penny!

We had a nice stay. The home is recently remodeled and very well done. However, the owner should disclose the fact that the house has no washer/dryer. Also a is a bit surprising that the remodeled kitchen has no garbage disposal. Everything else was perfect.

Our fourth stay at this home. View is breathtaking. The home is spacious and supplied with everything you need for cooking meals, except your food. We encountered deer during our walks and the best fresh air. Never disappoints.
