An absolute gem deep in the Kalahari
We had a fantastic time at Torgos Lodge. The location was perfect for us to visit the Kgalagadi TNP as day visitors every day via the Mata Mata border post. The accommodation was fantastic: clean, well-equipped and with amazing views of the wildlife along the dry riverbed. Jaco was a gracious host, looking after us carefully, and Mariam & Sonnety kept us well fed with delicious food. Thanks to them and the team. All in all excellent hosts that really added to the experience - we’re counting down the months until we can return!

Very good
We booked self catering online but were allocated to a non self catering room. Luckily the self catering rooms were available and the great staff moved us.

A special place of peace and rest surrounded by nature.
A hidden jewel situated near the border with South Africa and proved to be an oasis for the traveller. A place to be quiet, rest and be pampered by caring and efficient staff. We have and will continue to recommend the Lodge.

Peaceful place :)
Mariam was a super nice hostess. The place is absolutely quite and peaceful. The food was just amazing - we had the best steak ever. We did the lions trekking at the neighbor lodge which was also really great. And we really enjoyed watching the animals at the waterhole.
No fridge, no moscito protection
