Amazing experience - even better then expectations!

This house was amazing! We were not expecting how beautiful this house would be and we were surprised by the cleanliness , size and equipment of the house - but most of all the beautiful kitchen with high big windows that gave us the best dinner and breakfast view !

Ein schönes Hsus in tollen Lage mit schönen Zimmern.

Schönes Zimmer, schönes Haus, tolle Lage

Badezimmer ungepflegt und nicht so sauber im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften. Die Küche stand voller Geschirr, Töpfen und anderen Dingen. Lange nicht aufgeräumt.

A Magical Stay Under the Icelandic Sky + free Northern Lights

Our recent stay at this accommodation in Iceland was nothing short of enchanting. From start to finish, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience, and every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, the attention to detail and cleanliness of our accommodations was impeccable. The room was not only immaculate but also thoughtfully designed, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the standout features of our stay was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They were always available to provide recommendations and answer any questions we had, making us feel truly welcomed and cared for. The location was ideal, offering easy access to the incredible natural wonders of Iceland. But what made our stay truly magical was the breathtaking view of the Northern Lights. On clear nights, we were treated to a mesmerizing display of these elusive lights dancing across the Arctic sky right from our accommodation. It was an experience we'll cherish forever.

Disappointing with cleanliness as key issue.

The Guesthouse is well located, in a beautiful valley not far from the Circle Road No. 1. Good access by car via Road No. 248.

The photos on Booking.com do not represent the Guesthouse. We stayed in a very small, noisy room. The room was not clean to the point of unacceptable (see picture). There was no communication by owner or staff on anything.

Good for one night stand.

Comfy beds and pillow. Nice view from the window.

Tiny and dirty bathroom with mold. You can hear everything from other rooms. Very bad breakfast - extremly basic.

Amazing Guesthouse

It was a shame we checked-in late (10.30pm) therefore we were not able to enjoy the place to the fullest. It was an amazing place to stay with a nice kitchen. The views were stunning and breakfast was good. We wish to stay longer but we have to rush off the next day.

There was another couple staying in the same house so our family of 5 have to keep very quiet after checking-in late.

Simply Wonderful.

Not to be dramatic, but I still have dreams about the sunset views from Stora-Mörk: indicative of an obvious longing to return, perhaps? Breakfast good, our room was lovely, beds comfy, place kept very clean. Friendly and informative staff and owners. Good cooking facilities. Top class, friendly doggo 🐶 This was my 5th trip to Iceland and my 2nd ring road trip. This was probably the best value for money place we stayed. Lots to do in the area. We used it as a base to go to the Westman Islands one day, the obvious nearby waterfalls another, and Thorsmork National Reserve on checkout day. It’s a very special corner of Iceland - the panoramic view from the top of Stori - Dimon give amazing views of the whole area. Great to be in the shadow of the famous Eyjafjallajokull for the views.

Needs a sofa in the main house. Or somewhere to sit and enjoy the fantastic views rather than the breakfast area… still that’s nitpicking. Bathrooms are a bit behind and need an update compared to the luxurious rooms.

Stunning Views and A Comfortable Sleep

This place has one of the most stunning views in every direction that I have ever seen. Our whole family loved the clean and relaxing farm, and EVERYONE loved Max the dog.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Get there early, relax, grab a cozy blanket, sit outside, and enjoy the mountains.

Lovely surprising place!

We loved it here! Such a warm and cozy place. The Check in and check out is super easy and very friendly! Beautiful view from the house, great kitchen and room to eat. Super clean, absolutely recommendable, must be seen! Thank you very much!

The best guesthouse nearby

everything is just perfectly arranged: the rooms are spacious and comfy, we had one with a super clean spacious and equipped private bathroom. the bed is really comfortable. the owner ,and also his cat and his dog , are very friendly and welcoming, he also gave us very useful counsels about the prosecution of our trip along the Icelandic coast. if you have the opportunity in summer time there will be also a wonderful breakfast waiting for you in the morning. finally the guesthouse is also perfectly located in a well isolated place so to admire the Aurora Borealis when it shines above the south of Iceland. mostly recommended!
