Rose Cottage

This delightful cottage is everything that makes arrowtown so special.

Spacious yet cosy and steeped in history. All modern conveniences in a great location. Part of this cottage was bought down from Mace Town, a historic mining village, extended and modernisd but retaining touchs of history throughout.

Spacious inside there are three bedrooms (main with ensuite) a family bathroom, open plan living, a new kitchen and a double carport.
Three sets of French doors, one from the kitchen and two others from the living room lead to a sun soaked and sheltered deck creating another living space for outdoor dining and end of day relaxing. The section is fully fenced and the house has a great location in the heart of Arrowtown.

Well renovated and presented there is insulated internal and external walls, heatpump and nightstore to keep you warm in the winter.
All set on a beautifully landscaped, fully fenced section that allows for viewing of the gorgeous Arrowtown views. There is plenty of secure storage for skis and bikes.

Arrowtown is central to many ski fields and only 15 minutes drive to the Queenstown airport. Come and enjoy the different seasons in Arrowtown. Always something going on in and around the area.

We had a great time staying at Rose Cottage mixing in some snowboarding and sightseeing. Arrowtown is a great place to base yourself if you want to visit the ski fields or just chill out.

Lovely cottage, in a great location. Comfy beds and showers with fantastic water pressure. Dont forget your soap though, like I did, as soaps/body wash not supplied.

2 set of friends stayed, and the layout of the cottage was great. The cottage was lovely but special note of the renovated bathrooms which were very good. About a 15-20 minute walk into the shops and restaurants but a nice walk especially with the beautiful autumn trees to enjoy.

Arrowtown is small, historic and lovely with great restaurants. We enjoyed being near the river and hiking trails. The Bee bus between Arrowtown & Queenstown was convenient , inexpensive and we could avoid driving thru traffic & finding parking in QT. We enjoyed the cozy wood burning stove on cool evenings and a roomy kitchen when we cooked there.

Beautiful garden, colourfully flowering, sunny terrace perfect for breakfast. Good layout of the house, the ensuite bathroom was a bonus for our family constellation and the kitchen was good for cooking. We would be happy to stay here again when we visit Arrowtown.

Rose Cottage was exactly what our family of five needed for a comfortable stay in beautiful Arrowtown. Cottage is lovely and surprisingly spacious. All the modern conveniences too. Walk to main street and river. We would stay again - highly recommended.

A lovely cottage within walking distance to Arrrowtown. Everything just as described. Everything you need is there-with the exception of heaters in the bedrooms, which were cold. But otherwise fantastic stay. Thanks Jane!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose Cottage. Very well appointed, lovely comfortable beds, cosy fireplace and only a short stroll to Arrowtown shops, bars and restaurants. A perfect place to end our South Island road trip. Thank you! We will be back x

Very well equipped and tidy kitchen. Made it easy to prepare meals. Fire + heat pump made it easy to heat the living areas. Found the bedroom areas a bit cold as only a nightstore heater down that end of the house. There were some extra duvets that we put on the beds though and that was sufficient to keep us warm at night.

Cosy wee cottage in a quiet neighbour. Everything we needed & a nice cosy bed. Shower water pressure was excellent. Lovely having meals on the deck looking out towards the trees turning into Autumn colours. Recommend staying there.

My 2 sisters and I had a very relaxing stay in this cute cottage. The garden was in full bloom and we enjoyed sitting on the deck. We walked into town and along the river and had the most amazing weather.

Lovely home that was perfect for our family. The portacot and high chair were a great surprise and we enjoyed using the bikes to head to the shops. The house was warm and the beds were comfy. The outside area was great to relax in the sun. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Sun trap with all the necessary amenities not too far from the town centre. Excellent showers. Warm enough with the heat pump (didn't even light the fire). Very comfy bed. Sunny and quiet. Would recommend.
