Lovely hotel with great staff and location

Staff were lovely, smiley and happy to help. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy! And happy it had a small valuables safe. Breakfast came with a big choice of hot or cold items or with some made to order specials. It's got a gym, though I did not use it. Overall lovely! If you like shopping its a minute to get to the shopping centre

Not a dislike, Air Con is being replaced currently so not working but with windows open in the day and free water in the room it's fine and no doubt will be replaced soon....did not affect my stay at all

Great place , not so great hotel

Great location

Our tv kept turning itself off and had to have a member off staff in our room trying to fix it on 3 different occasions . Their hotel is under renovation so no air con or heating in the rooms and not notified on booking page

We had two single beds and one of them tilted so you rolled off when you laid on it if you weren’t careful.

Great hotel and stay, made our trip to Derby special

Perfect location right in the centre, room clean and very comfortable, breakfast was good and all the staff excellent.

It doesn’t have it’s own carpark but you use the shopping centre one with a discount just across the road. When we stayed unfortunately the air conditioning was broken with 30’deg c heat this was hard but they provided free water.

The hotel is clean, friendly. Central to all the city and the bus station is next door!

The Staff came over to show us around the Dining facilities. The breakfast was laid out well The food was really good. The cooked breakfast really done well and it was hot. We had to have a lesson in how to use the coffee machine. The young staff there were great

The location is excellent, shops, pubs all close by. The hotel is so clean and staff are friendly and helpful.

A pleasant weekend in Derby

Beautiful river view from my room. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Central location. Quiet room. Discounted car parking in the Derbion Centre a 5 minute walk away.

Breakfast could have been a little better.

Superb

The room was amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable, I had an amazing sleep. The bath was also very nice. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were all extreme helpful and friendly. The reception were excellent to me and allowed me both an early check in and late check out as my flight times to and from Derby were very awkward.

Fab hotel, good value, one minor issue

It was strange to have a reception on fourth floor. Felt a bit fearful going outside for a vape. I do understand the whole vibe is to discourage smoking but the fact of the matter is plenty of people still do, and it's important to feel safe when doing so. Assistance ( should I have required it) being four floors away was disconcerting. My only quibble. That, and a dark lonely corridor on my return.

Location was perfect, and the front desk staff were exceptional.
