Wonderful place to stay in Zermatt!

Kind and welcoming host, excellent location, clean and comfy studio perfect for solo or couple traveler. I had an amazing two weeks stay and would definitely come back in the future. Thanks so much!

Even though we couldn’t ski , we hiked Gornegrat ,Sunnegga and went up to Furi Troeckner and glacier

The apartment was great everything you need.two minutes from the train station. very central to shops restaurants and of course the ski lifts and Bergbahn apartment Bergkristall is/was great .

We had an excellent week in Chalet Bergkristall and we highly recommend it to other travellers!

The location of Chalet Bergkristall was excellent. Close to the lifts, the train station and the ski store and food store. The apartment was clean and well kept. The kitchen was well equipped and spices, dishwashing tablets, soap and toilet paper was provided by the host. The host was very friendly and professional and showed us the facilities so that we easily got to know our way around. There were separate ski and ski boots rooms in the basement, in perfect order. There was a small terrace outside the apartment, which was nice to sit in in the afternoon sun.

The lamp in the ski boots room did not work during our stay, so it was a little dark there.

A superb entree to Zermatt

The host was very welcoming, met me on arrival at the property and showed me around the apartment and the accommodation as a whole. The accommodation was in an excellent location. Extremely convenient for the station, the centre of town and access to the slopes, either via the Gornergracht train or the ski bus to the main cable car. The apartment was a decent size, very clean and furnished to a nice standard including a modern shower room. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and the kitchenette well-equipped for its size with useful/thoughtful items such as plug adaptors.

Very little not to like. As the kitchen appliances included a (very nice) coffee machine which was not Nespresso compatible, by way of minor suggestion, a few coffee pods could be made available. That said, the local supermarket is so close, that this would only really be necessary for anyone arriving after shopping hours and in need of a very early morning coffee.

Very central, close to lifts and supermarkets. Very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Laundry downstairs was very useful. Landlady was helpful.

One toilet is connected to the other through the air vent. It is awkward to use both at the same time. Showers and sinks were adequate though.

Superb

The location was excellent, in a quite street but in the town center only a couple of meters away from the Gornergrat station. The studio apartment was perfect and cozy for the two of us. The owners are very kind and helpful.

Super apartment in heart of Zermatt

The apartment is situated just off the main Bahnhofstrasse in Zermatt a few mins walk from the Gornergrat railway and ski bus. It is tucked down a little side street and is very quiet. It is spotlessly clean, cosy and warm and very well equipped. The owners provide lots of condiments and things like dishwasher tablets and washing powder etc which mean you don’t have to go and buy things you only need a small amount of. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There is a ski boot room with heated boot rack and separate ski room. Washing machines are free to use. We would definitely recommend this apartment in Zermatt and if we go back we will be sure to stay here again.
