This is the third time we have stayed at this property. Once for 6.5 months, another for a week, and then again for about 3 months. Nick is very responsive and attentive to any issues that come up. It’s in a great area, love the neighbors. Yes there are train tracks behind the house, but we were used to it and unbothered by it. Cute backyard area. Parks are very close as well.

We loved the place. Nick made sure we were checked in ok. House was super clean and comfortable. Cool deck with fruit trees. Neighborhood is very quiet. Pet friendly. We have nothing but good things to say. Thank you Nick for letting us stay!

This bungalow turned out to be ideal for my husband, 2 adult dogs and me for a one month stay. It is a quaint early 1900's home, with a fun backyard. It was winter and rained much of the time we were there, so didn't get to enjoy the sitting areas as we would have were we there another time of the year. The house itself gave us much more space than a hotel would have with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and large walk-in closet. The house is old, and in some cases, shows its age. But, don't let that deter you, as it is cute and historic, which we appreciated. The owner, Nick, has been updating the the house(s) on the property. You'll be able to see some of that in this charming unit. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed -- nothing fancy, but the usual: dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, pots & pans. It also has standard spices, ziploc baggies, foil and things of that nature. Back to Nick, he truly made us feel like we were friends visiting, instead of a renter. As you'd expect in an older home, sometimes things don't work as we'd like. He addressed issues immediately, so that we were not inconvenienced. Again, better then dealing with hotel staff if something weren't working in a hotel room. The location is super easy access to couple major freeways and downtown San Jose. On the fun side, it is very near the main part of Willowglen, which offers a lot restaurants, some shops, nail salons, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to here rent again.

We really appreciate the host’s accommodation. He was very kind. The hot tub was great. The backyard was eclectic and fun. The accommodation itself is in need of care, for example, closed doors, mold remediation, new paint, repaired fencing. There are loud train hours at least every hour making sleep pretty impossible. Our family worked hard to clean and leave the space better than we found it. Thank you.

Comfortable beds, clean, outside areas were nice, lots of nice plant life, but sitting outside on the furniture, we would have liked the cushions cleaned. This location is right next to the train tracks. We slept fine, but should bring ear plugs just in case.

Nick was very accommodating of our needs and an excellent host. The property was beautiful and the bungalow was exactly what we needed. Having the hot tub available to us was an added bonus.
