Caro para lo malo del servicio!

La limpieza y la ubicación

Pésimo servicio de desayuno! Se demoran 40 minutos en traerlo, lo hacen por partes, traen las cosas por separado. A mi acompañante le sirvieron un café, ella tomó del café, y un Garzón se lo retiró y lo puso en otra mesa!!! Ya servido por mi amiga! Realmente hemos tenido una pésima experiencia las dos mañanas en el hostal. El personal ineficiente, lento, mala cara, no dan respuestas y solo hablan portugués! Ni español no inglés!! Una falta de respeto la atención y es un hostal CARO!!

El peor selina de los que he estado. Habitación muy pequeña, cama incómoda, las sábanas parecían no haber sido lavadas, olían mal. Para colmo, el último día dejé por descuido mi monedero en el baño (dentro de la habitación) y me robaron el dinero que había dentro. Yo estaba indispuesta en la cama, con la cortina echada, ese día no había más huéspedes en mi habitación, llegaron después. Solo escuché entrar al hombre de la limpieza. No tenía mucho dinero ahí pero el simple hecho de robar a un huésped me parece horrible. No me he quejado porque era poca cantidad y ya me iba de ahí. Eso ocurrió ayer

O ar condicionado do quarto 203 não funciona, não refrigera, e oque funciona, tá fazendo um barulho muito alto, em fim, não dar pra dormir legal, com o barulho que o ar faz, e o calor, fora isso, o hostel e excelente, limpeza top, bom custo benefício boa localização, e os funcionários trata a gente super bem

Fui surpreendida com qualidade do serviço oferecido. Localização ímpar e ótimo custo beneficio!

O atendimento no restaurante do Rooftop me encantou em todas as vezes em que fui jantar, equipe de garçons hiper atenciosa, entretanto no café da manhã o atendimento deixou muito a desejar. Se não fosse pelos atendimentos anteriores no jantar, não voltaria.

Excelente lugar para nómadas digitales

El desayuno es muy bueno. 3 opciones, incluyendo una opción vegana todas las mañanas. Muy completo. El staff muy amable al momento de ingresar, con personas que hablan portugués, inglés o español. Todo muy limpio y ordenado con una cocina full equipada. Excelente localización literalmente en frente de la playa de Copacabana. Además, si necesitas trabajar, el wifi funciona perfecto desde todas partes, lobby, habitaciones, espaciones comunes

En general es un poco más caro que otros hostales con similares prestaciones, pero se compensa con su ubicación a orilla de playa. Lo único malo es que el edificio es algo viejo y tiene 1 solo ascensor operando cuando estuvimos esta semana lo cual a veces enlentencia el movimiento con maletas. Nuestra habitación no tenía buena iluminación natural.

só é bom a localização é pra conhecer gente nova.

bem pertinho da praia e de várias redes de compras, fácil acesso aos mercados e farmácia os meninos da recepção são muito gente boa e atendimento perfeito somente na recepção.

atendimento muito ruim nas áreas de alimentação tanto no café da manhã e no de almoço e jantar, funcionários com má vontade de atender e falta de atenção, tirando uma loirinha que era uma fofa com os clientes, o café demorava muito e dava pra ver que os alimentos eram de um dia anterior, o brunch chegava com 20 minutos e depois mais 15 pro café chegar.

Voltarei pelo custo benefício

Gostei mais do custo benefício e da localização do local. O café da manhã também é ótimo, muito bem servido e compensa incluir na diária!

Não gostei muito da iluminação no quarto, ele é ótimo para dormi pois é bem escuro, porém para fazer os demais afazeres falta um pouco mais de iluminação. E a cozinha compartilhada não é tão limpa, mas nada que impede o uso.

Hermoso el hotel, muy amables todos. La habitacion comoda y servicio de limpieza todos los dias. Me tocó compartida con vista al mar, te dan shampoo y jabon. El colchon super cómodo. La ubicación perfecta. Muy lindo el hotel po dentro. Cocina completa. Lugares de descanso y sala de cine

Lo único que no me gusto es que no podes usar la terraza si no consumis. No incluye desayuno pero ya lo sabia la hora de reservar

Las habitaciones compartidas son extremadamente pequeñas. Si los 6 de la habitación compartida estuviéramos el mismo tiempo en el cuarto, no caberiamos. Habitaciones demasiado pequeñas.

Great location, but no common area which doesn't work for a hostel.

Location is great. Tons of people there for the same general reasons, and the staff does a great job with activities and information through WhatsApp.

Selinas are always on the more expensive side, but as such, that wasn't a surprise. The big issue, and I spoke with several who had the same complaint, is that there is no common area to hang out in. It's either the crowded lobby full of people checking in, or two wooden chairs in the hallway. The rooftop bar is an independent RESTAURANT/BAR and not a place you can go to just relax, look at a TV, play a game, or meet people. It wasn't always open, and often empty because they essentially take a reservation just to go inside. "What's your name, room number, and how many people are coming?" It's not very social at all. Without the WhatsApp group, it would be impossible to meet people here.

Gostei muito do atendimento dos funcionários do Selina , com certeza vou indicar o hostel , a localização no rio é nota

Cama boa , banheiro gostei muito e o ar funcionou muito bem .

Só primeiro dia que fiquei na cama superior , mas o recepcionista muito gentil me trocou de quarto e consegui uma cama na parte de baixo .

I stayed in a female dorm and I liked the cabins in which we slept. They gave you a sense of privacy. The location is excellent. We had view of the beach from our room. The staff is helpful.

The only thing was that the wifi on my laptop kept kicking me out which was super inconvenient because I had to do some work. But eventually I managed.

I would have stayed here longer if the staff was nicer. There is a rooftop restaurant which is amazing and that’s why I stayed 3 nights, but the staff doesn’t speak English nor Spanish, and no one there made me feel welcome. Selina Hostels are going in a bad direction..

Great location, tiny room

Location, security, politeness of the staff, and the many cool and well planned common places: downstair gastrobar, upstairs restaurant, kitchen, cinema, lounge, library, store, etc.

Tiny room without ventilation or view. The floor drawers didn't open easily nor fit lugagge, so everyone left the bags in the way, making the space even smaller. The bunker was tiny and with an internal drawer that, even I being petite, I would hit it everytime I was in bed. The window faced another building and there were no ventilation to dry towels and swim suits, so the room smelled wet clothes...

Great stay

Probably the best hostel I stayed in Brazil in terms of quality and what you get for the money. Common areas top notch (library and cinema rooms, restaurants on ground floor and top floor with good food, tours they offer and other services). The location in on the Copacabana beach for those who are interested, there are supermarkets near by and other shops, restaurants and some bars. There are lockers in the dorm and one built into your actual bed area, which makes you feel like your stuff are properly secured. Also, unlike many hostels I stayed in Brazil, you actually get a key card for the dorm so it's not open to the mercy of the world.

Nothing too bad to take off points, but sometimes when I was sleeping my legs bumped into the locket built in the bed area, which was super painful. The staff was helpful and always seemed busy, which probably caused most of them to appear a bit unfriendly. The restaurant at the top felt at times a bit chaotic with the way things were handled with the bills, cards, food delivery, etc.
