I enjoyed how close it was to the square and its primary location. The penthouse was very spacious and the furniture was comfortable. It was also clean.
There was no washer/dryer inside like the description stated. There was also no blinds or curtains in the windows of the guest bathroom so anyone walking outside could see right in which made it basically unusable if you didn’t want anyone to see you using the shower/bathroom. The living room carpet that’s in the photos isn’t there. Also, we did not see any smoke detectors in the penthouse. We saw places where they would go but they were not attached.

Great apartment, great location
Baby gate provided, but didn't seem to work with the large staircase (not big enough). There was a bit of a gap in the barrier on the balcony which was partly covered up by the grill. However it was certainly large enough that a small child could fit through which was a bit of a worry.

Superb location and the apartment was awesome with the added bonus of the fantastic roof terrace. Loved it and would not hesitate to stay here again for one minute!
The lift was not working. We had quite a lot of luggage, so that was a bit inconvenient.

Bedroom tv lost connection and we couldn’t figure out how to fix it. Dryer didn’t work, which we realized after we washed clothes.
The deck wasn’t set up like in the pictures.

i asked for a extra blankets there was no umberlla outside so i could not go out there to hot then they brought me one it was broken then the manager came in my unit did not call and came in my unit when i was sleeping while i was naked

Awful towels. No mattress pad so the sheets wouldn't stay on. The quality of the bed, pillows, bedding, and towels really matter to guests. These easy upgrades will create a much more comfortable and luxurious guest experience.

The property is located in the best place possible. Its located across from Olegthrope Square, which is beautiful. The Owens Thomas house was in process of revocation. Everything was in wallet distant. The apartment looked just like the pictures.
When we first arrived to the property. We text the owners they immediately responded with the code to the doors. It has four staircase. So, be prepared to if you bring a lot of luggage. The elevator doesn't come with the room. Plus it wasn't working. The bedroom linen had a musty smell. The mattress was old had little knots everywhere on it. We flipped the mattress and tolerate the first night. However, when I got up the next morning. I my arms were itching so bad. I put the sheets and blanket in the washer. Then realized the dryer wasn't heating up properly. It was something hitting me. I contacted the owner and told him. He apologized and brought the linen and towels to us. I had to contact him at 11pm. Because he forgot the pillows. He brought out a new pillows and blanket. The last night I killed a cockroach and sent a picture to the owner. Oh he did tell me that the dryer was broken and they were in the process of getting another one.

Super.clean apartment. Exactly as pictured. Bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the desk in the bedroom as I had to work a little. Communication with the property was very easy. Loved that it was steps from a square and you could easily walk everywhere. Highly recommend! Loved the outdoor patio space too!
Everythibg was great - Just a warning there are a lot of steps. I would not recommend to anyone with mobility issues. There is an elevator but not working. Check first! Other than that it's a 10 out of 10!

Everything about the penthouse met our expectation. Location was perfect. We lucked out and got a parking spot right in front of the unit. The decor, exposed brick walls, and private deck was great!
If I had to mention anything negative, it was the noise that could be heard from other guests. If you are not able to climb steps, this unit may not be for you.

whoever was communicating through texting on booking.com did not follow through. We never received a new hair dryer or coffee crafe. It needs just a little maintenance TLC. Burnt out light bulbs & patio umbrella did not work, blind repairs on patio door. nothing major!

Problems with AC-roof leaking / ceiling falling down...dirt on floor. Need to have elevator repaired for use as 3 story walk up is not good for some senior. Would bring friends back if elevator worked.

We did not get the info on the entry code until we arrived at the building and had to call to get the code. We also not told that the elevator was not working until our arrival--49 steep stairs lugging luggage and groceries is not fun (this place is advertised as wheel chair accessible!).

Super nice place..! Rooftop patio is nice and the apartment is big . Lots of room in old old building. Only drawback is the stairs , if you don’t like them , this could be a problem. It’s on the 3rd floor .

The only thing I would say I did not like was not able to use the elevator. This trip was a light trip but if I was going to stay for a week carrying numerous bags of luggage up the stairs would make it very hard. I have some health issues so an elevator would of been wonderful. Not having the use of the elevator would prevent me from a longer stay. Otherwise BEAUTIFUL...

The location and decor were excellent; a spacious, clean apartment in the center of Savannah. Parking was easy thanks to the city's parking app.
We feel it's very important to caution people with mobility or accessibility issues that this is a fourth-floor walk-up and has two very steep staircases that would be problematic to navigate in those circumstances. Additionally, there were no sheets or blankets for the pull-out sofa in the living room. The rooftop deck was closed due to repairs, which was a disappointment, however, the owner states they will refund part of our rental fee due to the inconvenience.

The location is fantastic! You can walk just about anywhere— city market, River street, squares and even Walgreens (for forgotten items and snacks). Outstanding views from every window, especially the guest bath! It literally overlooks a square on a corner lot.
The loft-like space is so charming and super spacious for a historical building. We would’ve loved a little historical knowledge about the property, perhaps something to consider for the coffee table. Loved the huge kitchen table and all the counter space.
The pullout sofa was perfect for our son. There were not sheets on site but a quick text to the mgmt company and a new set was delivered hours later. That’s service! He complained a little about the road noise (it’s on a well traveled road and rue windows are “historic” aka not sealed well for air or sound). We did not have any issues in the master which is at the back of the unit.
If you’re planning to cook, take inventory in the kitchen because it’s stocked like a rental not a home. You’ll need your own spices, foil, oil, etc. We stay in VRBO/airbb often and usually there’s something left behind from prior tenants.
Steps and more steps. If you’re out of shape or can’t do stairs well, go elsewhere. It was not a problem for our group— we are young and fit— but every trip (and luggage/shopping bag) into the townhome was up 4 flights of irregular stairs (one without climate control). Personally we loved going up/down the historical staircases but I can see how some people would not appreciate this.
We loved the deck off the master but— The rooftop deck needs furniture and shade. The composite built-in bench is terribly uncomfortable and with no shade the afternoon/early evening deck is unbearable in the summer months. Keep folding chairs and umbrella in the closet.

The location itself was real nice it was clean and smelled good great view. There was a good bit of space for dining and lounging. We were near great locations downtown Savannah.
The arrival was complicated trying to get the keys from the lock pad. The wifi was hard to connect to it kept disconnecting and the elevator wasn't in service and we were located on the 4th floor. One of my guest had knee surgery and was in extreme discomfort. From climbing all the stairs to get the top level. Also there were no curtain not even in the restrooms so I stayed up the entire night unable to sleep.
