About this apartment rental

Our apartment is the perfect place for work trips, weekend get-always, or full vacations. With easy access to the beach and local amenities, the apartment is in the perfect location. With little touches of a home throughout, you’ll be able to settle in as soon as you walk through the door. Also, we are pet-friendly and we only allow smoking outside of the property preferred on the brick back yard patio. The patio may be shared with other guests.

Had a great time while here! Everything's about 15-30 minutes away, so not too bad a drive for anything your looking to do! Had a slight trouble checking in, but contacting the host was easy and he was extremely quick to respond, he even checked in a 2nd time which was very nice. Overall, a great little spot to stay at!

Great neighborhood Excellent location. Safe and friendly people and neighborhood. New appliances. Great washer and dryer He even provided Hulu for us after the power went off. He returned my message quickly

My husband, pup, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this nice apartment by the beach. The area is extremely nice with many restaurants, breweries, and beach access nearby. The space was clean and the owner made it very easy for us to check in and access the apartment upon arriving. We will likely look for this place again the next time we visit the area!

The place was much rougher than what the pictures have. Everything was clean and we weren’t there much so it was fine. But the place was not near as nice as pictures made it out to be. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep it works great.

Definitely in need of a deep cleaning. It was in need of sweeping, dusting, wall washing and removal of multiple cobwebs/dead bugs. There were many little black fly/moths flying around, on the walls, and in the shower. Check in/out was easy. A decent place for a night or two.

The property looks nothing like the images. It’s dirty with potential safety hazards. There was dirt and other substances splattered on the walls as well as nails sticking out at head level. There was 2 of us so we had planned on one of us sleeping on the couch and the other in the bed. Well that couldn’t happen because the couch was filthy. We tried washing the cover on it and the wash machine started leaking all over the kitchen. So we contacted Anthony (the property manager). During my initial conversation with him he stated he would give me the refund for both nights that we had scheduled (knowing that if we left I wouldn’t be able to call Vrbo and hold him accountable to the verbal agreement he made with me). However the place was so disgusting that we weren’t comfortable staying there. The next day I checked in with him to see when I could expect my refund and he stated he was no longer going to give me the full refund, that he didn’t feel the situation was worthy of that. He was only willing to refund the cost of one nights stay. It has been over 2 weeks now and he still has yet to refund me the money that he agreed to. He doesn’t take being a property manager seriously and doesn’t respect the people that pay to stay at his building. He hasn’t been responding when I’ve reached out in regards to my refund for the past several days. It appears that he knows how the Vrbo system is ran so he works it and cheats people out of their money.

This place is the place if you want to just sleep and shower only. We had three people, and it was only room enough for two people. The couch is a two seater, and it does not fold out to a bed. The towels were only for two people, not three. There was food still left in refrigerator/ freezer from possibly the last group that wasn’t cleaned out. And please don’t use the washer machine, water pours out the back of it on the rinse cycle. We had to mop several times. Called the host, he wasn’t too concerned about it. Overall the place needs a fresh coat of paint, exterior cracking and peeling, a bowing foundation, and needs a power washing. So for a cheap place to lay our head and just shower only, this is it!

Absolutely loved staying here. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was nicely decorated and clean. Only downside in the bathroom would definitly prove difficult for anyone on the taller or plus size side. And the couch technically sleeps a 3rd person but its not fit for anyone over like 5’6.

We arrived not long after a brief rain storm. The front porch roof was leaking in numerous spots and the welcome mat was drenched which meant wetness and dirt followed us into the rental. No ocean view. ( I was aware of that at booking) Booking was for three people as advertised but there was only one bed. Contacted owner who claimed that the pull out sofa just " broke ". He ordered a blow up bed from Amazon to be delivered the following day which it was. My 6 foot 4 inch 15 year old grandson was forced to sleep on the floor as the "replaced "sofa was for two people. The kitchen was the best room as the appliances were either new or gently utilized. The bathroom however, was a nightmare. There was a 5 foot by 4 foot area ( guessing) that you could freely move in but the sink, commode and shower were all clustered together. Commode was directly in front of the shower where you would have to put your feet into the stall. When you rise from the commode your head has to go into the shower stall. There wasn't even a holder for the tissue roll. I'M DONE.

Had a great weekend getaway with my sweetie. The Tiny House is so adorable with great back yard, and in a good walking neighborhood. Great eats, beach was a joy, not crowded. The hosts were very accommodating also as we didn't get to town till close to 10pm.

Property was everything expected! We brought our two dogs with us on their 1st beach vacation (they are bigger dogs). The house was just the right size for us and the dogs!! The back yard was great for them and the neighborhood was friendly with a park in walking distance from the house! Also beach access in walking distance from the house also!!

We came to Virginia Beach for the sole purpose of a trip for our beloved K9. Anthony sent us over our check-in information and that was the last contact with had/needed with him until our trip ended. The apartment is tiny but has everything!! The area is very quiet! The fenced in backyard was a huge seller for us as we was taking our 75 pound K9 and he needed a little time off his leash. I would definitely consider staying here again if ever in the area. Thanks again for having us!

This place was clean and kitchen was well stocked. It worked out great for us and our 2 dogs. The fenced in back yard was great to let the dogs get out some energy after being in the car for an extended period of time.

My fiancé and I stayed at Anthony’s place and love it! Anthony was quick to respond with questions, the place was clean, given it was small but it was perfect for us! The only issue I had was I wished the house provided more dishes such as mixing bowls and baking sheets but otherwise the place was great with a huge back yard!

I appreciate the cleanliness of this space, ease of parking and would recommend it. It is only two blocks to the beach which was great. The small apt was very clean and with well stocked kitchen. A light above the sink would help with getting dishes clean. I had to wash some of the dishes before using them due to stuck on food. Backyard was in disarray when I arrived with lights on ground and garbage on lawn. I cleaned it so my dog would not be eating the garbage. I was under the impression due to previous review the backyard was fenced. It is except for 6 feet in one corner which of course my pooch found immediately . Would have been nice to have been able to let her run around outside. Anthony responded immediately and had the lights in backyard fixed within less than hour.

This unit is small without much beyond the basics. It is best suited for a guy traveling alone & focused on location/price. Wife's description was "Spartan." Consistently heard road noise & duplex neighbor through the shared wall. Nice push button door lock, heater & washer/dryer.
