About this cottage rental
Get the best of both locations with this beach side property called Beach Road. Located across the street with direct access to Siesta Key beach and just a few blocks from Siesta Key Village which offers a myriad of dining, shopping, and nightlife options.
Enter through the front door and step into the open living and dining area. The living room is furnished with lounge seating for 4 and 55" SMART TV. The dining area is furnished with dining set with seating for 4. Additional guests can enjoy a queen-size Murphy bed with a Casper mattress in the front section of the living room. The galley style kitchen at Beach Road offers ample storage and is equipped with a 4-piece stainless steal appliance package. Up front you have the beach side suite furnished with queen-size bedroom set and has access to an ensuite bathroom featuring a stall shower. In the rear you have the master suite furnished with a queen-size bedroom set and access to its own ensuite bath featuring a stall shower and his/hers sinks. There is a Pack 'n Play available. Washer/Dryer is shared among 2 other studio units and is located in a breezeway behind the home and is free to use.

Perfect location right across from the beach, close to shops and restaurants. Clean property with comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend!

The location was phenominal...however the A/C did not function correclty so we woukd wake up at 4AM sweated down and 85 degrees. There is definitely is an electrical issue the lights would frequently flicker and dim even without bad weather. Lastly the host never responded when there was a leak in the living room that required all the towels in the rental to contain. So when it rains, you have buckets of water leaking from a beam in the ceiling. The rental itself is in shambles, but the location is prime. Oh and one of the beds felt like a half deflated air matress.

The location is outstanding - directly across from the public beach. House was well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing vacation.
Only issues were the mattresses in both bedrooms were too soft for our liking. A firmer mattress and the use of a box spring would have made definitely raised our rating. In addition, the internet was sporadic. A few times during the 14 days, the router would disconnect leaving us with internet or TV for 20-30 minutes at at time.

The property was as described. Very close to the beach. Had everything we needed but the refrigerator was not very cold and the freezer did not freeze ice in 3 days. Beds were comfortable.

The most amazing location. We did have a roof leak due to some really heavy rains. They came and checked on it quickly. I would recommend new mattresses but that is the only thing. Very budget friendly and you cannot beat the location.

At the last minute, my son decided he wanted to celebrate his 21st at his fav vacay spot: Siesta Key (well, SK Village #iykyk). Found the perfect rental for the couple of nights we’d be there and it was just a short walk to all the fun spots! I would definitely rent again via Rent Siesta Key!

Property was wonderfully located across the street from an amazing white sandy beach. Restaurants on the beach were within walking distance. Property was updated and clean. Mattresses were very comfortable.

One bathroom did not have toilet paper and the other had a half roll. That was the only bummer, otherwise very nice!!

It was a very great location to stay. A bit pricey for only staying two days but you are right across the beach and only 15-20 minute walk from the main strip. Easy check in and check out with no contact needed to get in or out which is nice for anti social people. I really enjoyed this place overall!

Great location. Place desperately needs cleaned !! Floors are filthy, doors are worse. Extra construction materials and paint cans using up space in bedroom closets as well as under the bed. Time on vacation is precious, the property manager does not know the property details very well. Should be able to tell us the type of coffee maker, which consumables are provided etc—instead it was all “wait and see”.

Great location - right across from beach access point and close to town for meals and shops. Murphy bed was perfect when we added an extra person last minute - easily went back in place for extra room during the day. Coffee bar perfect to get the day started! Bring your own dishwasher pods and extra kitchen garbage bags - little skimpy there. Otherwise highly recommend this place.

We were so happy with this property. We knew we would love the location from previous visits however, this property exceeded our expectations. The inside was lovely, the kitchen and bathrooms were updated and the coffee bar was an added surprise. We will definitely be back!

This property was perfect. My husband and I went with another couple so we each had our own bathroom. The house was right across the street from the beach and a short walk to the village. The trolley stop was located just outside the house so we caught that a couple times. Would definitely recommend.

On my regular trips down to see my elderly mom, i am on the lookout for properties that also include basic essentials. Forcing everyone guest to buy salt and soap and the whole bit is short-sighted. I won’t stay there again even though it met my needs bc it’s just a ‘cold’ way to treat people. It’s cheap to provide a basic tiny soap and dumb to throw away basics every time.

The house was mostly clean & very roomy for our family of 4. Plenty of towels. The traffic is pretty noisy on a weekend nights.
This is Not the owners fault but there was some young adults who were staying in the unit 4 behind us with 2 loud diesel trucks & they kept coming & going all hours of the night. One parked right in front of our unit & the other one on the side. You can hear anyone outside talking or walking by. It kept me up all night Saturday as I’m not use to all the strange random noises in a new area.
The couch was uncomfortable. The master bed was uncomfortable & there was sand and food in the side base of the beds. The first bedroom door was a little tough to open & close. I couldn’t figure out how to turn off the coffee bar lights at night as we had one sleeping in the living room. You can walk right across the street to beach access. Short drive to the village for shopping & dining. The location was great. Parking could be tight if all 4 units are rented out. Washer/dryer are outside behind unit 1 with detergent. Plenty of beach chairs, Mats, noodles, & sand toys which was convenient. Master shower was nice & hot. Bathrooms nice & roomy. I would recommend tvs in the rooms as we liked to relax and watch Netflix at night, & a chain lock on the doors just to feel a little safer at night.

The property was less than 50 yards from the beach and was centrally located on the key. The rooms were clean and they had great showers! 10/10 would stay here again.

Perfect location!
It was such a beautiful area. We truly enjoyed our first time in Florida, especially Siesta Keys. Girls used the boogie boards on site to play in the gulf

It was perfect for our family with 2 master bedrooms each with bathrooms. The murphy bed in the living room was perfect for our daughter. There was more than enough room to leave it down the whole week and still have room in the livingroom. The only problem was that there was only 4 chairs at the dining table, so one person had to stand! The kitchen was sparsely equipped with only 4 mugs and no covered oven casserole dishes. A Keurig coffee maker would have been nice to have also. However, we still loved it and would come back again.

We had everything we need based upon description. If you need sheets for the Murphy bed, maybe remind them in advance to supply them. That was our only issue with the property. It was a great place to enjoy a family vavcation.

Location perfect - 1/2 mile to town (or less), right next to best beach (and away from crowds of public beach). Place was very nice. Shared laundry outside. Shared beach chairs (we never had an issue getting a chair partially because other tenants didn't fly in so they brought their own). Flooring seems to need repair, but no big deal.. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Mixed feelings
We originally booked this rental for March 2020. We canceled late due to the COVID escalating and the beach was closed. We were given the option to schedule another week and not lose our money, which was greatly appreciated. The location is nice for beach access. However the condo is close to the road and it becomes very loud from the traffic. Unfortunately I had a very loud crowd for neighbors and didn't feel safe listening to them fight near the entrance of the unit I was in. They smoked outside the door and left cigarette butts on the ground. The unit does need a deep clean and cobwebs removed. The kitchen and bathroom are nice with lots of room. It be nice if there was an area to sit outside.

Great week
We had a great week here! The location is perfect. Walking distance to Siesta beach across the street. We also drove up to long boat key and down to Venice beach. Great central location to explore the other Gulf beaches. One issue I normally have with rentals is lack of shelving in the bathrooms and bedrooms but this was not a problem here! Shelves in the bathroom and vanity had plenty of room. Place was very clean and even had beach chairs and umbrellas to use. The one thing we didn’t like was the lack of hand soap, toilet paper, and tissues. Only one roll per bathroom and only bars of soap. We had to run to the store to buy these essentials so I would suggest packing them ahead of time.
