Beautiful, peaceful lodges close to Puerto Rio Tranquillo

The location and views are incredible. Even on cloudier days the view of the lake and surrounding mountains is just magical. The lodges are also just a short drive from Puerto Tranquillo where you can book activities like glacier trekking and visiting the marble caves. We liked the good ac/heater in the cabin which kept us nice and warm. The restaurant had tasty pizzas and we could sit in there to use the wifi

For a 3 night stay, we wish the bin was changed once (or an extra bin bag provided for us to change it). The hot tub was expensive (we didn’t use it) and we were not aware of this until after booking. We also wish there was wifi in the cabins, I imagine most guests would be happy to pay a little more for this. That being said these were minor points and we had a wonderful stay!

La vista.

Habitaciones pequeñas, no cumple con las medidas para una habitación y espacios de circulación. Deficiente aislacion térmica, pasamos frío en las noches, además de ducha tapada y encontramos tres arañas grandes, por lo que hace dudar de un buen aseo a la habitación.

Una experiencia distinta

El logde es muy lindo, la ubicación es excelente frente al lago general carrera, literalmente a unos pasos y ya puedes tocar el lago, la vista es maravillosa y puedes ocupar el hot tub (por un monto extra) aunque el clima no muchas veces acompaña 😄

Opinión personal pero siento que el desayuno debería venir incluido

MALA EXPERIENCIA

La vista frente al lago.

NO TENÍA DESAYUNO - EL CHECK OUT ES A LAS 10 AM DEMASIADO TEMPRANO. - EN LA RECEPCIÓN NUNCA HABÍA NADIE. AL MOMENTO DE HACER EL CHECK OUT TUVE QUE DEJAR LAS LLAVES EN LA ENTRADA YA QUE LA PERSONA DE RECEPCIÓN NO ESTABA. EL COBRO DE CALENTAR LA TINAJA ME PARECE EXCESIVO.

Vista do lago . Acabamos ficando 3 noites pois a lista vista convida. Wi-Fi funciona bem no restaurante, na cabana as vezes. E o sinal da Entel 4g também funciona as vezes . Não usamos o restaurante nem a tina externa então não posso comentar.

WLAN in der Hütte nicht vorhanden. Auf Bitte es zu fixen haben wir pampige Antworten bekommen es draußen oder im Restaurant zu versuchen. Das Restaurant hat aber nachts geschlossen und ist auch definitiv nicht der Ort um eine romantische Nacht zu verbringen oder diskrete Geschäfte zu machen oder stundenlang mit dem Baby abzuhängen. Nach stundenlangem Hin und Her mit der Rezeption und anderen Angestellten lief es dann mäßig. Am nächsten Tag war es wieder weg. Auf Bitte um Abhilfe wieder die gleiche freche Antwort. Unmöglich. Das Problem war außerdem bereits bekannt. Bei einer normalen Hütte und einer Entschuldigung hätte ich Verständnis gezeigt - aber bei dem Preis und der frechen Antwort … no way!

Tolle Lage - kein WLAN / unfreundliches Personal

Tolle Einmalige Lage - man schaut vom Bett aus direkt auf den türkisen See und ist direkt bei den Wellen beim Einschlafen!

Great for a few nights with an outstanding location and view.

Amazing location. Seriously so close to the lake we fell asleep to the sounds of the small lapping waves. Fantastic view. We could hear the people next to us but, for the most art it was quiet. The heating unit was perfect let us warm when we needed it. The bathroom was a good size and the shower had good pressure and was hot. There was an electric kettle And fully set table so we could make our own meals with hot water OR go to the restaurant right on site. There was no internet in the rooms, but there was in the restaurant, which also had plenty of space to hang out on couches and not have to sit at a table. We didn’t use the hot tubs but each cabana has one. Overall, if you think of it as glamping, it was great!

Não tem internet. Somente no restaurante e não é boa. Se acaba o papel higiênico, por exemplo, precisa ir pedir. Não tem limpeza.

Vista de Tirar o Folego.

O lugar é magnífico, a vista é de tirar o folego, as margens do lado General Carrera (Chelenko), sem dúvida o local mais bonito que fiquei em minha viagem de 40 dias pela Patagônia Argentina e Chilena. A cabana (tiny cabin) é muito confortável, realmente é pequena, mas atendeu muito bem a necessidade de minha família (eu, minha esposa e minhas duas filhas), tudo muito confortável, bem projetada, o pouco espaço foi muito bem aproveitado. Camas excelentes, banheiro ótimo. Restaurante muito bom.

O ofurô, a taxa de aquecimento era muito alta, desistimos de utilizar.

A experiência foi positiva no geral.

A vista do local é maravilhosa o que faz deste lugar único. A cama também é gostosa e acredito que seja uma das melhores acomodações da região. Porém se comparar a boas acomodações no geral vai dizer que peca em muita coisa.

Eles poderiam deixar pelo menos uma garrafa de água a todos como um ato de boas vindas já que são no mínimo 3 horas de estrada e não há um mercado no caminho . E também a troca de toalhas e limpeza para pessoas que escolherem ficar mais dias . Tanto faz ficar 2 noites ou 6 noites, não há troca de toalhas e limpeza nos quartos enquanto se está nesse local. E pra usufruir do ofurô ( um dos motivos que me fez escolher está estadia ) é um valor alto por dia.

Pela vista vale a pena.

A vista, uma das melhores que já tivemos na vida. Gostamos do café da manhã , custa o valor de $ 10.000 por pessoa.

Ficamos duas noites, acabou o papel higiênico e não foi reposto, achei os vidros sujos. A pizza parecia que era congelada, sem gosto.

We loved the beautiful floor to ceiling windows with the most incredible view of the lake and mountains. The staff is incredible and welcoming and it's close to Puerto Tranquilo.

Very nice room, great view, comfortable bed. Restaurant was decent with a limitied menu.

No WIFI in room, Toilet did not flush well and water never got hot enough for a shower. We told the office and they said it was the best it gets. This place is in a very windy cold location. Not much to do here.

It’s though to find much better places for that price, but i will would not come back.

The view from the lake in the morning is cool.;

This place is like the comments say… the rooms are run down, the staff are not professional. It shows the owner is not around to take care of the place. The ads are misleading, the hot tubs cost an extra $70 and look really dirty. The tiny rooms are only available for an extra $30 as well.

Beautiful lake side stay on the carretera austral.

The location at the lake is amazing. The cabins have good value for money.

The quality of finishing the bathroom. There was a puddle of water and a strange smell. The jacuzzi is quite expensive.

Not worth it!

The Cabañas are a few meters away from a beautiful turquoise lake. Spectacular views of the lake.

The cabins are so tiny you can’t even open your suitcase and need to crawl over the bed to get out. There was nothing but a few tubes of instant coffee in the room. It had a fridge and a tiny bathroom. The sheets felt dirty; threadbare and crumpled. No wifi. Have to go the restaurant to get wifi. Very very basic food. Burger and pizza. The lake is beautiful but the wind makes it almost impossible to sit outside for any length of time. About $50 US to go into the hot tub on your deck for an hour. Location poor, nothing around and town 20 minutes on a rough and dusty road. Hot water at times no more than lukewarm. Will not return!
